提出了一种新型超宽带平面单极子天线。该天线由一个倒置的月牙形金属贴片和一个槽口金属接地板构成,采用微带线对其进行馈电。通过数值仿真和实验测量,该平面结构的单极天线具有超宽带性能,实测天线的-10dB回波损耗的频率覆盖范围为3.2~1.8GHz,相对带宽达115%,阻抗带宽达到3.6倍频。且该天线体积小、结构简单、加工简便,适合应用于短程超宽带通信系统。 相似文献

An innovative monopole antenna coupled with a parasitic normal-mode helix has been designed and studied both experimentally and theoretically. The effects of various dimensions of the monopole and the parasitic helix were investigated extensively. This simple combination can significantly enhance the antenna bandwidth over that of the conventional monopole antenna. It is found that, with suitably chosen antenna dimensions, the VSWR bandwidth (VSWR ≤ 2) of the antenna can be increased to 36%, almost double that of the monopole antenna alone. The far-field pattern of the combined antenna is basically the same as that of the monopole antenna. This antenna is designed to operate at 1.8GHz. The substantially enhanced bandwidth of this simple and small antenna is a useful feature for future mobile communications. 相似文献

A novel compact modified inverted-L monopole antenna for dual-band operation is proposed. The proposed antenna is designed to operate in 2.4 GHz (2400-2484 MHz) and 5 GHz (5150-5825 MHz) bands for WLAN applications in IEEE 802.11a/b and HIPERLAN/2 systems. The method to realise the desired dual-band operation is by introducing a meandered wire and a conducting triangular section to a conventional inverted-L monopole, which results in a small antenna size of 7/spl times/18 mm/sup 2/. A novel ultra-wideband printed monopole antenna with a band-notch characteristic and stable omnidirectional radiation is presented. The antenna design adopts a bevelled square patch as a monopole, a double-feed technique and a microstrip feeder embedded with an inverted U-shaped slot. Good agreement between simulation and experiment shows that the proposed antenna achieves an impedance bandwidth of 3.05-5.15 and 6.02-10.84 GHz for VSWRles2, a stable omnidirectional radiation and a low cross-polarisation level. 相似文献

A microstrip-fed printed monopole antenna having a parasitic plane is proposed for multi-band applications. By inserting an inverted U-shaped parasitic plane on the bottom of the dielectric substrate, the proposed antenna can easily cover DCS/UMTS/WiBro/2.4 GHz WLAN and 5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN bands at the same time. In addition, a /spl Gamma/-shaped slit is inserted on the main patch to cover the GSM frequency band. A compact and simple coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed monopole antenna for 5 GHz wireless communication is proposed. By properly adjusting the lengths of both the monopole strip and the inverted L-shaped ground, the designed antenna, with, including ground plane, only 9/spl times/9.5 mm/sup 2/, can operate at the desired 5.2 or 5.8 GHz band. The electromagnetic coupling effect between the radiating strip and the ground on excitation of the resonant mode has been studied. Prototypes of the proposed antenna have been constructed and experimentally studied. The design of antennas for hand-held communications devices depends on the implementation of simulation tools that can accurately model general topologies. The paper presents the analysis of small antennas mounted on hand-held transceivers using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The key features of the FDTD implementation are discussed, with particular emphasis placed upon modeling of the source region. The technique is used to predict the gain patterns and broadband input impedance behavior of monopole, planar inverted F, and loop antenna elements mounted on the handset. Effects of the conducting handset chassis, the plastic casing around the device, and lumped elements integrated into the antenna design are illustrated. Experimental results are provided to verify the accuracy of the computational methodology. The concept of antenna diversity is discussed, and key assumptions and expressions are provided that characterize the multipath fading fields. A novel and compact ultra-wideband (UWB) microstrip-fed monopole antenna having frequency band notch function is presented. To increase the impedance bandwidth of an antenna, a narrow slit is used. By inserting a modified inverted U-slot on the proposed antenna, the frequency band notch characteristic is obtained. Reduced size microstrip monopole slot antennas with different slot shapes-straight, L and inverted T, and placed on a small ground plane, are investigated. The ground plane size is 50 mm/spl times/80 mm, which is about the size of a typical PC Wireless card. Detailed simulation and experimental investigations are conducted to understand their behavior and optimize for broadband operation. It is shown that, the variation in the slot shape, from straight to L and T shapes, helps in generating additional resonances, which when coupled to the original resonances of the slot, further increases impedance bandwidths. The bent shapes of the L and T slots reduce their height and provide more space on the ground plane for electronics. A mirror image dual L-slot antenna, placed at two adjacent corners of the ground plane, is also investigated and optimized for the polarization diversity. They provide an impedance bandwidth of 87%, with near orthogonal radiation characteristics. The measured impedance bandwidths (S/sub 11/=-10 dB) of up to 60%, 84%, and 80% are achieved for these straight, L and inverted T slots respectively, by suitably selecting their design parameters. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data considering several practical issues. 相似文献

A frequency-reconfigurable antenna for a mobile phone with small volume is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a planar inverted F-antenna (PIFA) with volume of 4times36times5timesmm3 and a monopole antenna embedded in the same space. The two antennas are excited by two separate feeds with a common ground plane. A switch is used in the PIFA for frequency-reconfigurable operation. The PIFA can cover either LTE (698-806-MHz) or GSM900 (880-960-MHz) depending on the state of the switch. The monopole antenna can cover either PCS1900 (1.85-1.99-GHz) and m-WiMAX (3.4-3.8-GHz) or WLAN 802.11a (5.15-5.35-GHz) depending on the state of the switch. The antenna gain is in the range of -1.99-0.61-dBi over 700-MHz-2-GHz bands and 2.39-4.62-dBi over the bands higher than 3-GHz. 提出一种常规的平面双频单极天线,在折叠手机闭合模式下,重点从天线的谐振频率、带宽和增益3个参数角度出发,分别研究了金属器件:扬声器、电池与该平面双频单极天线的相对位置关系,以及对天线性能的影响。并利用HFSS软件优化功能,寻找出扬声器和电池板对平面单极天线性能影响最小的位置组合关系。最后制作了实际模型,与测试验证的仿真结果基本吻合。 相似文献
