In this report we present the performance and test observation results of a waveguide band-stop filter (BSF) as an image rejection filter for the measurement of stratospheric ozone. By using the waveguide BSF, we are able to adopt a very simple optical system and achieve a good image rejection ratio. Additionally, we are able to observe in both single sideband (SSB) mode and double sideband (DSB) mode by only changing the local oscillator (LO) frequency. We have installed the waveguide BSF into an atmospheric ozone-measuring system using a superconductive (SIS) receiver and have successfully observed an ozone spectrum at 110 GHz in SSB and DSB mode. The receiver noise temperature (SSB) and the image rejection ratio at 110 GHz are about 60 K and more than 30 dB, respectively. Because of the IF power ripple, the waveguide BSF cannot be used with a wide-band spectrometer. However, it is quite practical for narrow-band observation.  相似文献

文章提出将SIR谐振器结构应用于非对称共面波导传输线中,设计了一种新型SIR结构非对称共面波导带阻滤波器。通过四个SIR谐振单元在非对称共面波导传输线中级联,有效地改善了滤波器的插损和带宽。结果显示,本滤波器中心频率为1.8GHz,最小插损为0.4dB,相对带宽为33.3%,最大带外抑制为-60dB。具有小体积、低插损、高抑制、宽阻带、易于加工等优点。  相似文献

提出了一种基于模式匹配法的窄带Iris波导滤波器设计方法,通过引入Matlab优化使滤波器设计周期缩短了约1/3。设计的窄带滤波器相对带宽小于3%,且较好的克服了毫米波频段滤波器高频端带外抑制较差的难题。测试结果表明,该带通滤波器插入损耗小于0.8 dB,驻波比小于1.2,中心频率34.86 GHz,带外抑制52 dB@36.5 GHz,已被成功应用于某毫米波雷达通信系统中。  相似文献

A novel lowpass filter with a very sharp transition band and wide stopband is proposed. The proposed filter is based on T‐shaped patches which are etched in symmetrical structures and folded open stub. To obtain a wide stopband, we have used stub loaded semi‐circle stepped‐impedance structures. By designing the resonator with high inductance and capacitance, a very sharp transition band is achieved. The proposed filter has a 3‐dB cutoff frequency at 2.37 GHz and a 40‐dB rejection at 2.44 GHz. The stopband with an attenuation level better than –13.2 dB is up from 2.4 GHz to 16 GHz, and consequently we have reached the high and wide rejection in stopband with compact size. Good agreements between the simulated and the measured results are presented.  相似文献

利用三维仿真软件HFSS首先设计了K波段7阶电感E面带通波导滤波器,以及波导-微带转换器.其中波导滤波器的中心频率为19 GHz,带宽为3 GHz,带内损耗小于0.1 dB,端口反射小于-20 dB;而波导-微带的转换器在16~20.8 GHz的带宽内端口反射小于-20 dB,带内损耗小于0.1 dB.然后将两者有效结合为一体,其工作带宽为17.5~20.5 GHz,带内损耗为0.3 dB,端口反射小于-15 dB,带外抑制小于-30 dB,可以满足实际系统应用的需求.  相似文献

Ku band Fabry-Perot type resonances have been observed in the stop band of a metallodielectric photonic crystal by transmission measurements at microwave frequencies. The metallodielectric photonic crystal has a face centered cubic Bravais lattice structure with a lattice constant of 15 mm. Metallic spheres with 6.35 mm diameter are placed at the lattice sites. The metallodielectric photonic crystal displayed a directional bandgap with a lower band edge of 13.0 GHz, an upper band edge of 21.5 GHz and a center frequency of 17.25 GHz, corresponding to a stop bandwidth center frequency ratio of 50%. The maximum rejection at the band center is 35 dB, corresponding to a 7 dB per unit cell rejection ratio. The Fabry-Perot type resonance in the K u band has a quality factor of 200, with a maximum transmission peak of -5 dB  相似文献

A kind of dual-band-stop filter with an unsymmetrical T-shape defected ground structure (DGS) is proposed. The filter has two band gap centers at 4.9 GHz and 7.35 GHz, respectively, where the two centre frequencies are just the second and third harmonics 2.45 GHz. The filters with high band-stop performance and wideband spurious suppression can be achieved by cascading miniaturized unsymmetrical T-shape DGS. The attenuation of three-cascaded T-shape DGS filter is 30.77 dB at 4.9 GHz and 17.96 dB at 7.35 GHz respectively. The above experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results, especially for the third harmonic.  相似文献

针对Ka频段卫星通信系统中对阻收滤波器的工程应用需求,提出一种低损耗波导高通滤波器的设计方法。利用波导低频截止特性及阶梯阻抗变换法,在软件中进行建模仿真优化后,通过参数扫描得到一个合理的设计方案。实物测试结果表明通带25~28 GHz插入损耗<0.4 dB;阻带22~23 GHz抑制>40 dB,是一款可应用于实际工程的高性能滤波器。  相似文献

提出了一种基于磁性光子晶体的高性能微波带通滤波器。仿真计算和实验测量结果表明,该滤波器矩形系数好,插入损耗小,带外抑制高且带内平坦。研制的中心频率为10.75 GHz的通带滤波器,带宽达1.3GHz,通带内插入损耗小于5dB,带外抑制50dB以上。改变磁性圆柱的半径或磁性光子晶体的晶格常数可设计出工作在不同频段,具有不同带宽的微波滤波器。  相似文献

A fundamental requirement for most mm-wave heterodyne receivers is the rejection of the input image signal which is located close to the local oscillator frequency. For this purpose we use a bandpass filter, which for heterodyne receivers is also called an image rejection filter. In this paper we present a systematic approach to the design of a waveguide bandpass filter with a passband from 100 to 110 GHz and upper rejection bandwidth in the range from 113 to 145 GHz. We consider two non-tunable filter configurations: the first one is relatively selective with 11 sections (poles) whereas the second one is simpler with 5 sections. We used established design equations to propose an initial guess for the geometries of the filters, optimized the geometries, constructed the filters using two different milling methods, measured their transmission and reflection characteristics, and compared the measurements with numerical simulations. Measurements of both filters agree well with simulations in frequency response and rejection bandwidth. The insertion loss of the 11-pole filter is better than 10 dB and that of the 5-pole filter is better than 5 dB. The 11-pole filter has a sharper attenuation roll-off compared with the 5-pole filter. The upper out-of-band rejection is better than 40 dB up to 145 GHz for the 11-pole filter and up to 155 GHz for the 5-pole filter.  相似文献

提出了一种基于共面波导(Coplanar Waveguide,CPW)和微带线复合结构的四分之一波长带通滤波器(Bandpass Filter,BPF)。该带通滤波器由两个终端开路的T形微带馈线结构和四个交叉耦合的四分之一波长CPW谐振器组成。通过仿真优化得到其特性曲线图,并分析比较了不同参数对其滤波性能的影响。仿真结果表明,该带通滤波器在其2.97~3.03 GHz的通带内的最小插损低于0.4dB,回波损耗大于30dB,同时其带外衰减都大于25dB。这种滤波器结构紧凑,尺寸小,性能好,可应用于很多微波系统中。  相似文献

A parallel coupled-line planar bandpass filter (BPF) with branch-line shape using coplanar waveguide technology on GaAs substrate is presented. The unit parallel coupled-line BPF utilises a parallel coupled-line resonator with an open-ended stub which has suppression response of spurious band. Four unit parallel coupled-line BPFs are integrated with branch-line shape and open-circuit stubs on input and output ports are also integrated for improvement of rejection performance. The proposed fourth-order filter was fabricated on GaAs substrate with dielectric thickness of 50 m and gold thickness of 1.2 mum. The fabricated fourth-order BPF shows a 3 dB bandwidth from 177 to 209 GHz frequency range with insertion loss of 6.5 dB, rejection of 38 dB and return loss better than 12 dB. It has a high resolution fractional bandwidth of 17%.  相似文献

A novel micromachined resonator at 45 GHz based on a defect in a periodic electromagnetic bandgap structure (EBG) and a two-pole Tchebyshev filter with 1.4% 0.15 dB equiripple bandwidth and 2.3 dB loss employing this resonator are presented in this letter. The periodic bandgap structure is realized on a 400 /spl mu/m thick high-resistivity silicon wafer using deep reactive ion etching techniques. 低通滤波器是通信系统中关键的器件之一,常作为选频器件用来抑制干扰信号和谐波信号,因此低通滤波器阻带带宽成为关键指标.常见的平面低通滤波器采用短截线(分支线)或高低阻抗线结构,这些结构的低通滤波器阻带不够宽,一般在截止频率的2倍频或3倍频处出现寄生通带.本文使用等效的T形节替代低通滤波器中的串联传输线的方式实现了带阻滤波器嵌入到低通滤波器内部,既对低通滤波器的阻带上任意频段出现的寄生通带进行了抑制,又不影响低通滤波器的通带内性能,并给出等效T形节的综合设计公式.此结构综合设计方法严谨简单、易于平面电路实现,制作出来改进的低通滤波器对3倍频寄生通带进行抑制,扩宽了阻带带宽到4个倍频程以上,测试结果:通带带宽0~3GHz,通带插入损耗小于0.5dB,带外抑制3.6~12GHz大于60dB.  相似文献

A compact bandpass filter with dumbbell shape Defected Ground Structure (DGS) operating on ultra wide pass band (UWB – 3.1 to 10.6 GHz) is proposed. It is based on hybrid microstrip coplanar waveguide (dual sided metal) structure. A Multiple Resonant Structure (MRS) is constructed using coplanar waveguide (CPW) planar transmission line. The MRS makes the resonance using quarter wavelength and half wavelength open-ended CPW. The equispaced three resonances at lower (3.1 GHz), center (6.85 GHz) and higher edge (10.6 GHz) of the whole Ultra Wide Band is achieved using CPW MRS. To make the band as flat as possible, two more resonances are introduced using quarter wavelength microstrip patches on top of the commonly shared substrate, so the proposed filter becomes a five pole bandpass filter. A dumbbell shaped defected ground structure on either side of CPW MRS improves the return loss almost less than 20 dB over the whole UWB passband. The simulated results of proposed filter show good transmission response within passband and good rejection in out of the band. The simulated and measured results are very close to each other which proves the efficacy of proposed design.  相似文献

为有效减小X波段基片集成波导(SIW)滤波器的尺寸和插入损耗,提出了基于四分之一模基片集成波导(QMSIW)和共面波导(CPW)混合结构的小型化带通滤波器。为了提高滤波器的选择性和带外抑制,将两个CPW合并到两个级联的QMSIW谐振器中,由于两个CPW谐振器之间的耦合是电耦合,有助于产生两个传输零点,因而具有较高的选择性。该小型化滤波器尺寸仅为8.1 mm×15.4 mm,中心频率为8.7 GHz,相对带宽是16.1%,仿真测得插入损耗为0.83 dB,带外抑制大于40 dB。  相似文献

This paper presents a terahertz (THz) band-pass filter using ultra-precision machining technology based on Chebyshev filter prototype. This iris inductive window coupled waveguide filter was designed by using 8 resonant cavities with a center frequency of 345 GHz and a 7% bandwidth. The final design fulfills the desired specifications and presents the minimum insertion loss of 1.55 dB and the return loss of less than 15 dB at 345 GHz. The stop-band rejection is 50 dB off the center frequency about 30 GHz, which means it has a good performance of high stop-band suppression. Compared with the recent development of THz filters, this filter possesses the characteristic of simple structure and is easy to machining.  相似文献

对滤波器的高精确度理论设计及小误差的工艺实现进行探讨与设计加工。总结了国内外的多种设计经验,讨论了多种类型的滤波器设计方案,选取适当的滤波器结构形式,设计加工了110 GHz的感性窗耦合波导滤波器,其中感性窗耦合结构采用传统机械加工技术实现,与法兰盘结构一并集成。基于高频结构仿真(HFSS)软件进行仿真,结果表明:设计并制作的110 GHz带通滤波器,其中心频率为110 GHz,相对带宽为5%,插入损耗小于1 dB,带内回波损耗大于 20 dB,距中心频率2倍带宽处,带外抑制大于40 dB。  相似文献
