多网络覆盖的无线网络环境下由于存在路径选择和切换等机制,对于移动流媒体的传输方案有更高的要求,mSCTP协议是在流媒体控制传输协议SCTP的基础上增加了动态地址配置特性,可在用户移动的同时进行IP地址的动态增加和删减,从而选择最佳的传输路径,现结合mSCTP的动态地址配置特性和SCTP本身具有的多宿特性,提出一种在用户慢移动状态下,针对点播模式的移动流媒体业务的优化传输方案,制定传输路径选择策略,在主路径满足业务要求前提下不进行不必要的路径性能测试与切换,并通过NS2仿真验证.  相似文献

SCTP进行动态地址重配置扩展后被称作移动SCTP,可以在传输层对因特网移动性进行支持,进行端到端的移动性管理,并且不需要网络路由器的支持。本文讨论了分别在网络层和传输层实现因特网移动性的区别,分析了利用mSCTP实现平滑的移动切换的基本原理。为了实现对移动节点的定位,mSCTP需要和某种位置管理机制进行结合,这种机制既可以是移动IP,也可以是SIP。  相似文献

移动IPv4(MIPv4)中存在外地代理转交地址和配置转交地址配置机制,大多数情况下采用外地代理转交地址机制,在实际应用中灵活性差且部署成本较高。针对这一问题,在RFC2002协议设计的基础上,文章采用DHCP协议实现了配置转交地址机制。在此基础上提出并详细设计了缩短重复地址检测过程的几种可行方案,能够极大地缩短切换时延,满足实际应用的需要。  相似文献

子网移动性管理的最终目标是移动网络中的所有节点郝可以通过一个永久的IP地址被访问,并且当移动网络的路由器改变接入点时,内部节点仍然可以保持连续的通信。但当前的移动性管理方案由于其基本协议的切换时延较大,丢包率较高而不能适应实时业务和移动通信的要求,需要对移动性管理策略进行改善。文中介绍一种基于SIP和SCTP协议的混合方法Hybrid—NEMO,解决基于MIPv6的NEMO所存在的问题。通过建立相应模型并进行仿真对比分析,该方案能够保证网络移动切换过程中零丢包率和可控制的时延抖动,完全可以实现网络无缝移动的有关性能指标,从而较好地解决了现有移动网络模型实现无缝移动过程中的不足。  相似文献

在移动IP网络中,当前的移动性管理方案由于其基本协议的切换时延较大、丢包率较高而不能适应实时业务和移动通信的要求,所以需要改善移动性管理策略的切换性能,尽量实现无缝切换和零丢包率。提出了一种基于移动IPv6的快速切换的改进方案,采用一种新的地址分配方式使得移动节点能够在移动至新的网络后迅速获取新的转交地址,有效地减少了切换所产生的时延和丢包率,具有较好的切换性能。  相似文献

相比基于低轨(LEO)卫星的天基网络,基于静止轨道(GEO)卫星的天基网络具有空间节点数量少、拓扑结构简单和系统建设成本低的优点。围绕用户终端在GEO天基网络中的移动性管理问题,利用移动IP架构的位置管理功能定位并追踪移动用户终端的网络位置,基于流控制传输协议(SCTP)的多地址归属特性保证移动切换过程中数据传输连接的连续性,提出了一种融合SCTP协议和移动IP架构的GEO天基网络移动性管理方案,具有良好的网络安全特性。测试结果表明,该方案既消除了移动IP架构固有的"三角路由"缺陷,同时具有较高的切换平滑性,是解决GEO天基网络移动性管理问题的有效方案。  相似文献

This article proposes a new method to facilitate seamless vertical handover between wide area cellular data networks such as UMTS and WLANs using the stream control transmission protocol (SCTP). The multihoming capability and dynamic address configuration extension of SCTP are applied in UMTS/WLAN overlay architecture to decrease handover delay and improve throughput performance. Unlike techniques based on mobile IP or session initiation protocol, the SCTP-based vertical handover scheme does not require the addition of components such as home/foreign agents or a SIP server to existing networks. Therefore, the proposed scheme provides a network-independent solution preferred by service providers. Performance evaluations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

The complementary characteristics of cellular networks and wireless local area networks (WLANs) make it attractive to integrate these two technologies. In this integrated heterogeneous environment, mobile stream control transmission protocol (MSCTP) is ideal to support vertical handover (VHO) between them by enabling a mobile client to freely switch between IP addresses acquired in different networks. In this paper, we show that the MSCTP-based VHO scheme suffers from poor throughput performance during WLAN to cellular forced VHOs. We propose a novel error recovery scheme called Sending-buffer Multicast-Aided Retransmission with Fast Retransmission (SMART-FRX) to improve performance during VHO by multicasting the buffered and new data over both WLAN and cellular links when handover losses occur. In addition, we propose a new analytical model for SCTP that takes into account the congestion window, the round trip time, the slow-start and congestion avoidance processes. By comparing numerical results from the proposed analytical model with simulation results, we demonstrate that our analytical model is able to predict the SCTP throughput accurately, with or without the SMART-FRX scheme. The analytical model provides a useful tool that can be extended to study the performance of SCTP in other applications. Analytical and simulation results show that the proposed SMART-FRX scheme can improve the SCTP throughput performance significantly in WLAN to cellular forced VHO situations.  相似文献

With the emergence of multimedia applications that have real constraints, ensuring a satisfying quality of service to mobile users presents a big challenge in heterogeneous wireless networks. In such environment, the asymmetry of the available resources as well as user’s mobility can cause offered QoS degradation. In this paper, we propose the use of the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) within a QoS adaptive IPTV services in a novel IMS architecture. The multi-homing feature and the partial reliability extension allow improving the network performance and increasing the user satisfaction. In addition, we have proposed an mSCTP based mobility scheme to guarantee service continuity during handover to IPTV users over IMS. The handover decision includes Perceived QoS (PQoS) measurement reflecting the user satisfaction and Media Independent Handover (MIH) information. An analytical study of the time required to perform IPTV adaptation, show that our approach improves the performance by minimizing the delay and maximizing the user satisfaction.  相似文献

In this paper we present a new approach to provide fast handover in Mobile IP. A new Pre‐Handover Signalling (PHS) protocol is proposed to allow the network to achieve accurate handover decisions considering different constraints such as QoS, load balancing in the base stations, the user profile, the mobile node service requirements, etc. In addition we propose to minimize the time discovery of the new base station in order to minimize the handover latency. We propose to start the PHS as soon as the mobile node crosses a predefined critical zone area in its current location, this signalling will provide a list of candidate cells to the mobile node with corresponding priorities; the mobile node will select the highest priority base station as soon as the layer two handover occurs. We propose in the current work to use an extension of COPS (Common Open Policy Service) to support the proposed PHS mechanism and overcome the blind handover decisions of Mobile IP and improve the handover performance. 流控制传输协议(SCTP)即将成为下一代网络中的传输层协议,在未来互联网和移动网络中发挥重要作用,然而目前网际协议(IP)网络中大多数网络地址转换(NAT)设备对SCTP报文转发缺乏兼容性支持。分析并解决了SCTP在当前IPv4网络实施中所遇到的NAT阻断问题。利用在收发端协议栈上进行功能扩展,提出了一种新的SCTP报文的NAT穿越方法,在不修改当前网络NAT设备的前提下完成NAT穿越,并在原型机上测试验证了解决方案的可行性和有效性。  相似文献
