提出了一种高功率及高转换效率的可调谐连续波近红外外腔单谐振光学参量振荡器。为了获得短波段近红外可调谐激光光源,基于准相位匹配晶体的光学参量振荡技术是其中一项有效的技术手段。光学参量振荡器采用连续波532 nm激光器作为泵浦源,掺杂氧化镁的周期性极化化学计量比钽酸锂(MgO:sPPLT)晶体作为准相位匹配晶体,通过在周期调谐的基础上再结合温度调谐的组合调谐方式,在8.3~8.6 μm的4个极化周期内实现了信号光807~879 nm和闲频光1352~1567 nm近红外宽波段的无跳模可调谐激光输出。通过闲频光单谐振设计,当泵浦功率5.4 W时,在8.6 μm周期处,获得了3.1 W的821 nm的近红外信号光输出,实现了57.4%的信号光光-光转换效率。当泵浦功率达到13.6 W时,在8.6 μm周期处,获得了6.8 W的高功率输出。  相似文献

通过重构-等效啁啾(REC)技术实现了一种基于分布式反馈(DFB)激光器矩阵的低成本可调谐激光器模块,对该模块进行了波长调谐、稳定性以及其他性能的测试,并将特定波长的参数加以标定。模块中的相邻激光器之间的中心波长间隔均匀等距且P-I特性良好,可调谐激光器输出波长的波动小于±3 pm,光功率变化小于0.02 dBm。波长调谐范围为1536.64~1559.36 nm,在该范围内依照ITU-T的DWDM标准涵盖了60特定波长通道,通道切换时间为5~30 s。  相似文献

Design, fabrication, and properties of an acoustooptically tunable Ti:Er:LiNbO3 waveguide laser of up to 31-nm tuning range in the wavelength band 1530 nm<λ<1575 nm are discussed. The laser cavity is formed by an Au mirror and a dielectric mirror as output coupler, both vacuum-deposited on the polished waveguide endfaces. As tunable intracavity wavelength filter with zero frequency shift, two monolithically integrated single-stage acoustooptical TE-TM-mode converters are used together with two polarization splitters operated as TE- and TM-pass polarizers, respectively. The minimum threshold of about 54 mW (coupled) pump power is obtained at λ≈1561-nm emission wavelength for diode laser pumping at λp≈1480 nm. With about 110-mW coupled pump power, up to 320-μW output power is achieved; the emission linewidth is 0.3 nm  相似文献

A novel lensless tunable external-cavity laser using monolithically integrated tapered amplifier, grating coupler (GC) and an external half mirror is proposed and demonstrated. It can be fabricated by a simple process and emits a collimated output beam. By making use of wavelength dispersion of the GC, the lasing wavelength can be angle tuned. Wavelength tuning over a wide range of 21.5 nm by 4.5° device rotation and an 84-mW output power were achieved under continuous-wave operation. 布里渊掺铒光纤激光器(BEFL)是一种利用非线性效应——布里渊散射来实现多波长输出的激光器,波长间隔大约为0.088 nm(11 GHz).研究了一种多波长布里渊掺铒光纤激光器线形结构,通过引入反馈实现多波长输出.在布里渊泵浦功率为11 mW,980 nm泵浦功率为12 mW时获得了波长间隔为0.08 nm的34个波长的激光输出以及1 525~1 570 nm可调谐范围.并通过调节980 nm抽运光功率以及布里渊泵浦光波长,实现了可调谐的多波长输出.还研究了980 nm抽运光功率对产生的斯托克斯光波数的影响.  相似文献

We propose a novel transmitter consisting of a frequency-modulated widely tunable super-structure-grating distributed Bragg reflector (SSG-DBR) laser and an optical filter. The SSG-DBR laser acts as a frequency modulating light source with a constant output power by modulating the reverse bias voltage in the phase control (PC) region. By optically filtering the output light from the frequency-modulated laser, we have demonstrated 60- and 180-km transmissions for 20- and 10-Gb/s nonreturn-to-zero (NRZ) signals, respectively. The power penalty was 2.2 dB after the 180-km transmission of a 10-Gb/s NRZ signal as determined by bit-error-rate measurements. Furthermore, an extended transmission reach was achieved with a wide tuning range without controlling the bias and modulating voltages in the PC region.  相似文献

We have developed and studied what we believe is the first fiber laser operating in a single polarization at 1550 nm with PM fiber output and capable of wavelength tuning over a 20-nm bandwidth in less than 50 μs. The fast wavelength tuning speed in a fiber laser is achieved by incorporating an acousto-optic tunable filter into the laser. The same filter is used in an optoelectronic feedback loop to suppress the relaxation oscillations induced by wavelength transitions  相似文献

为了获得一种平坦功率输出的宽带波长可调的掺铒光纤环型激光器,提出采用一高双折射光纤环镜获得其平坦功率输出,在高双折射光纤环镜中,采用了大量的高双折射光纤段和偏振控制器,它们的反射光谱可补偿掺铒光纤环型激光器输出功率光谱的不平坦,通过压缩或者延伸激光腔里的分布式光纤布喇格光栅即可实现波长调谐。实验验证可以获得一种宽达38nm的宽带波长调谐(1527nm~1565nm),输出功率的不平坦被控制在±0.8dB范围之内,总输出功率大约4dBm、3dB线宽为0.01nm、旁瓣抑制比为48dB的光纤环型激光器。  相似文献

A new tunable laser structure using a single electroabsorption (EA) tuning super structure grating section for fast wavelength switching operation, has been realized. The tuning mechanism of this absorption change distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) laser is based on a localized absorption variation induced in a multielectrode EA-SSG section. These devices exhibit a 2.5-nm tuning range with three modes and a switching time, between two successive wavelength channels, shorter than 250 ps. The output power variation under tuning is lower than 1.2 dB.  相似文献

报道了一种波长可热调谐的电吸收调制分布反馈激光器(Electroabsorptionmodulateddistributedfeedbacklaser,EML)。在激光器条形的侧面淀积一薄膜加热器,EML实现了 2 2nm的连续调谐。在调谐范围内,激光器输出功率的变化小于 3dB。采用端面有效反射率方法和耦合波理论的计算表明:采用相调制方法,可实现调谐范围达3 2nm的EML。如果热调谐与相调谐方法结合,可在较宽范围内实现波长快速调谐的EML  相似文献

提出并实现了一台基于单腔全介质薄膜法布里珀罗滤光片的1550 nm可调谐外腔半导体激光器。介绍了其内部的光学元件及其工作原理,随后对该半导体激光器的纵模输出特性进行了理论分析,搭建了该可调谐外腔半导体激光器。在不同的实验条件下,对该可调谐外腔半导体激光器在调谐过程中的输出波长、线宽及功率进行了实时同步测量。由所测数据总结出最佳实验条件,并得到了此条件下可调谐外腔半导体激光器的各相关参数。该可调谐外腔半导体激光器有一个线性的无跳模波长调谐区域(1547.203~1552.426)nm,一个稳定的输出光功率范围(40~50)μW,以及一个稳定的输出单纵模分布、线宽范围(100~150)MHz。该可调谐外腔半导体激光器可用于环境监测、原子与分子激光频谱研究、精确测量等领域。  相似文献

Device and tuning characteristics of sampled grating tunable twin-guide laser diodes are presented. The vertically integrated, monolithic widely tunable laser requires only two tuning currents to fully cover a wavelength range of more than 40 nm by electrooptic tuning. Its tuning behavior is quasi-continuous with up to 8.2-nm broad continuous tuning regions. High sidemode suppression (SMSR /spl ges/ 35 dB) as well as large output power (P /spl ges/ 10 mW) are obtained over the wavelength range from 1520.5 to 1561.5 nm.  相似文献

A stabilized and tunable single-longitudinal-mode erbium-doped fiber ring laser has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The laser is structured by combining the compound cavity with a fiber Fabry-Peacuterot tunable filter. An injection-locking technique has been used to stabilize the wavelength and output power of the laser. One of the longitudinal modes is stimulated by the injected continuous wave so that this mode is able to win the competition to stabilize the system. A minimum output power of 0.6 dBm and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 43 dB within the tuning range of 1527-1562 nm can be achieved with the proposed technique. A wavelength variation of less than 0.01 nm, a power fluctuation of less than 0.02 dB, and a short-term linewidth of about 1.4 kHz have also been obtained  相似文献

A wavelength-conversion laser was fabricated using monolithic integration of a bistable laser diode and a wavelength-tunable distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) laser. This device converts an input light signal with a certain wavelength to output light with a tunable wavelength over 3.5 nm. Input power required for switching is investigated, and its resonant dependence on input wavelength is revealed. Input polarization is also discussed, and suppression of crosstalk is demonstrated. This device's turn-off switching response is greatly influenced by the light power of the input signal as well as bias current, and the first 1 Gb/s operation is achieved in optimum conditions for fast turn-off and stable turn-on  相似文献

采用国产半导体器件,组建了半导体光纤环形腔激光器(FRSLs)的实验装置及相应的测试系统,系统地研究了FRSLs的输出和调谐特性.结果表明,已实现高速调制情况下的动态单纵模调谐,并获得波长调谐范围大于36nm的稳定光脉冲输出.确立了FRSLs的阈值特性、输出功率等物理参量与振荡波长之间的关系,提出通过控制分光比来优化和兼顾FRSLs的调谐范围及输出功率.实验结果较好地与理论模拟结果相吻合,为进一步改善FRSLs的性能指标提供了实验依据.同时,这些分析与结论对于相关结构类型的激光器设计也具有一定的参考价值.  相似文献

本文提出了一种利用光纤光栅作为调谐装置的可调谐全光纤激光器。实验结果表明:该调谐装置操作简便,性能稳定。激光器输出波长连续可调,输出波长复现性误差小于0.008nm,输出功率大于1mW,激光谱线宽小于0.01nm,波长调谐范围大于6.4nm。  相似文献

为了获得高性能的量子点外腔激光器(ECL),利用InAs/GaAs量子点Fabry-Perot(FP)腔激光器研制了光栅外腔可调谐ECL。对InAs/GaAs量子点ECL进行了一系列的性能测试,主要包括单模稳定性测试、单模调谐范围测试、阈值电流密度测试、无跳模连续调谐测试和输出功率测试。在室温条件下获得了24.6nm的连续调谐范围,覆盖波长从999.2nm到1 023.8nm,并且实现了波长无跳模连续调谐。在调谐范围内最低阈值电流密度为1 525A/cm2,而且在中心波长处获得的单模输出功率为15mW,单模边模抑制比(SMSR)高达35dB。研究结果表明,通过构建光栅外腔可以实现高性能的InAs/GaAs量子点ECL。  相似文献

A 1.5-μm phase-controlled distributed feedback wavelength-tunable optical filter is studied. This is the first optical filter which controls the transmissivity (gain) and the transmission wavelength independently. Wavelength tuning range as wide as 43 GHz (3.4 Å) with high constant gain of 27 dB has been achieved. A five-channel wavelength selection with less than -10 dB crosstalk is expected with this filter. This device also operates as a wavelength tunable laser, and the wavelength tuning range as a laser is larger than as a filter. The reason is studied, and it is shown that suppression of the submodes is important to expand the wavelength tuning range  相似文献

A 1.5-μm phase-shift-controlled distributed feedback wavelength tunable optical filter is studied. This wavelength tunable optical filter controls the transmissivity (gain) and the transmission wavelength independently by current injection. During wavelength tuning, the submode suppression ratio is large and a wavelength tuning range as wide as 120 GHz (9.5 Å) with 24.5-dB constant gain is achieved. An 18-channel wavelength selection with less than -10 dB crosstalk is expected with this filter.
