We introduce Kripke semantics for modal substructural logics, and provethe completeness theorems with respect to the semantics. Thecompleteness theorems are proved using an extended Ishihara's method ofcanonical model construction (Ishihara, 2000). The framework presentedcan deal with a broad range of modal substructural logics, including afragment of modal intuitionistic linear logic, and modal versions ofCorsi's logics, Visser's logic, Méndez's logics and relevant logics.  相似文献

Fibring has been shown to be useful for combining logics endowed withtruth-functional semantics. However, the techniques used so far are unableto cope with fibring of logics endowed with non-truth-functional semanticsas, for example, paraconsistent logics. The first main contribution of thepaper is the development of a suitable abstract notion of logic, that mayalso encompass systems with non-truth-functional connectives, and wherefibring can still be dealt with. Furthermore, it is shown that thisextended notion of fibring preserves completeness under certain reasonableconditions. This completeness transfer result, the second main contributionof the paper, generalizes the one established in Zanardo et al. (2001) butis obtained using new techniques that explore the properties of a suitablemeta-logic (conditional equational logic) where the (possibly)non-truth-functional valuations are specified. The modal paraconsistentlogic of da Costa and Carnielli (1988) is studied in the context of this novel notionof fibring and its completeness is so established.  相似文献

布尔模型是信息检索系统的一种基础模型。给出了命题逻辑和布尔代数间的一种新的对应关系,其中布尔代数中的不等式对应Gentzen系统中的矢列式,使得当一个不等式在任意布尔代数中为真,当且仅当它所对应的矢列式是可证的。并且使得在信息检索中,针对信息的推理可以有效地转为偏序集上的运算。讨论的命题逻辑语言的运算符为、ù、ú;并且定义了项(a|t|t1ùt2|t1út2其中a是一个元素)来替代原先的公式和表示布尔代数中的元素。此外,定义了以布尔代数为论域的赋值v,将命题逻辑中的项赋值为布尔代数中的元素,并且如果tΔΓt vtΔΔt v,则矢列式ΓT D为真。最后给出了Gentzen系统下的可靠性和完备性定理的证明。  相似文献

While monadic second-order logic (MSO) has played a prominent role in model theoretic syntax, modal logics have been used in this context since its inception. When comparing propositional dynamic logic (PDL) to MSO over trees, Kracht (1997) noted that there are tree languages that can be defined in MSO that can only be defined in PDL by adding new features whose distribution is predictable. He named such features “inessential features”. We show that Kracht’s observation can be extended to other modal logics of trees in two ways. First, we demonstrate that for each stronger logic, there exists a tree language that can only be defined in a weaker logic with inessential features. Second, we show that any tree language that can be defined in a stronger logic, but not in some weaker logic, can be defined with inessential features. Additionally, we consider Kracht’s definition of inessential features more closely. It turns out that there are features whose distribution can be predicted, but who fail to be inessential in Kracht’s sense. We will look at ways to modify his definition.  相似文献

In recent years, a tight connection has emerged between modal logic on the one hand and coalgebras, understood as generic transition systems, on the other hand. Here, we prove that (finitary) coalgebraic modal logic has the finite model property. This fact not only reproves known completeness results for coalgebraic modal logic, which we push further by establishing that every coalgebraic modal logic admits a complete axiomatisation in rank 1; it also enables us to establish a generic decidability result and a first complexity bound. Examples covered by these general results include, besides standard Hennessy–Milner logic, graded modal logic and probabilistic modal logic.  相似文献

We study several modal languages in which some (sets of) generalized quantifiers can be represented; the main language we consider is suitable for defining any first order definable quantifier, but we also consider a sublanguage thereof, as well as a language for dealing with the modal counterparts of some higher order quantifiers. These languages are studied both from a modal logic perspective and from a quantifier perspective. Thus the issues addressed include normal forms, expressive power, completeness both of modal systems and of systems in the quantifier tradition, complexity as well as syntactic characterizations of special semantic constraints. We define cut-free display calculi for knowledge logics wherean indiscernibility relation is associated to each set of agents, andwhere agents decide the membership of objects using thisindiscernibility relation. To do so, we first translate the knowledgelogics into polymodal logics axiomatised by primitive axioms and thenuse Kracht's results on properly displayable logics to define thedisplay calculi. Apart from these technical results, we argue thatDisplay Logic is a natural framework to define cut-free calculi for manyother logics with relative accessibility relations.  相似文献
