The Space Acceleration Measurement System (SAMS) has been developed by NASA to monitor the microgravity acceleration environment aboard the space shuttle. The amount of data collected by a SAMS unit during a shuttle mission is in the several gigabytes range. Adaptive Resonance Theory 2-A (ART2-A), an unsupervised neural network, has been used to cluster these data and to develop cause and effect relationships among disturbances and the acceleration environment. Using input patterns formed on the basis of power spectral densities (psd), data collected from two missions, STS-050 and STS-057, have been clustered.  相似文献

This paper aims at giving a better understanding of damage mechanisms that control lifetime of Cf/SiC composites at high temperatures (700-1200 °C) under static and cyclic fatigue. Acoustic emission (AE) signals were analysed with a view to identify classes corresponding to a specific damage mode. An unsupervised classification method allowed differentiating signals resulting from the following damage mechanisms: collective or individual fibre breaks, matrix cracking, fibre/matrix debonding, yarn/yarn debonding and sliding at fibre/matrix interfaces or matrix cracks closing after unloading. Then, a supervised classification method was developed. It allows real-time identification of damage mechanisms regardless of testing conditions (temperature, applied load and loading mode).  相似文献

Knowledge derived from limited data gathered in the early manufacturing stages is usually too fragile for a flexible manufacturing system (FMS). Unfortunately, production decisions have to be made quickly in a competitive environment. In a previous study, a strategy using continuous data and domain external expansion methods under a known data domain range was proposed to solve the so-called small data set learning problem in FMS. The present paper goes further in seeking a quantitative method to determine the range of domain external expansion under unknown domain bounds. The research considers the data bias phenomenon that often occurs in small data sets and provides a method for its adjustment. Beyond this, the study also compares the learning results among three types of membership functions (Bell, Trapezoid, Triangular) for data fuzzification. The results show that the proposed approach can advance the learning accuracy of a broad range of applications.  相似文献

PbTe在中温区热电材料中广受关注, 然而, n型PbTe因其较低的载流子浓度和复杂的能带结构, 其热电性能难以大幅提升。本研究通过分步式添加PbS、Sb2Se3组元以调控n型PbTe基体的热、电传输性能。研究发现, PbS与Sb2Se3组元可分别提升功率因子和降低热导率。通过扩大带隙、增加点缺陷、第二相弥散等途径可改善能带, 加剧散射, 从而有效提升热电优值ZT。其中(PbTe)0.94(PbS)0.05(Sb2Se3)0.01表现出最佳的热电性能, 700 K时ZT最大值为1.7, 且ZT平均值较PbTe基体显著提高, 这表明分步式双组元调控可为改善其它材料体系的热电性能提供技术途径。  相似文献

Big data is increasingly available in all areas of manufacturing and operations, which presents an opportunity for better decision making and discovery of the next generation of innovative technologies. Recently, there have been substantial developments in the field of patent analytics, which describes the science of analysing large amounts of patent information to discover trends. We define Intellectual Property Analytics (IPA) as the data science of analysing large amount of IP information, to discover relationships, trends and patterns for decision making. In this paper, we contribute to the ongoing discussion on the use of intellectual property analytics methods, i.e artificial intelligence methods, machine learning and deep learning approaches, to analyse intellectual property data. This literature review follows a narrative approach with search strategy, where we present the state-of-the-art in intellectual property analytics by reviewing 57 recent articles. The bibliographic information of the articles are analysed, followed by a discussion of the articles divided in four main categories: knowledge management, technology management, economic value, and extraction and effective management of information. We hope research scholars and industrial users, may find this review helpful when searching for the latest research efforts pertaining to intellectual property analytics.  相似文献

Co-based ferromagnetic amorphous systems prepared by rapid quenching are parts of a very interesting group of materials from the perspective of new magnetic application possibilities. Practical applications of amorphous metallic glasses are in some cases limited by the thickness of the ribbon. In the present contribution as-cast and after annealing Co–Fe–B–Si–Nb ribbons (monolayer), pseudobulk (bilayer, trilayer) materials with increased thickness in comparison with ribbons (monolayer) and Co–Fe–B–Si–Nb-Ga ribbon were investigated by measurements of magnetostriction λ s . These materials were prepared by planar flow casting method (PFC) and modified PFC method with a single crucible which has two or three nozzles for preparation of pseudobulk samples, respectively. The field dependence of the parallel [λ par(H)] and perpendicular [λ perp(H)] magnetostrictions in the sample plane was measured at room temperature. These dependencies were used to calculate the values of saturation magnetostriction λ s . Microstructure of the as-cast samples as well as annealed samples was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM).  相似文献

Rapid Prototyping of Microfluidic Systems in Poly(dimethylsiloxane)   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
This paper describes a procedure that makes it possible to design and fabricate (including sealing) microfluidic systems in an elastomeric material [Formula: see text] poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) [Formula: see text] in less than 24 h. A network of microfluidic channels (with width >20 μm) is designed in a CAD program. This design is converted into a transparency by a high-resolution printer; this transparency is used as a mask in photolithography to create a master in positive relief photoresist. PDMS cast against the master yields a polymeric replica containing a network of channels. The surface of this replica, and that of a flat slab of PDMS, are oxidized in an oxygen plasma. These oxidized surfaces seal tightly and irreversibly when brought into conformal contact. Oxidized PDMS also seals irreversibly to other materials used in microfluidic systems, such as glass, silicon, silicon oxide, and oxidized polystyrene; a number of substrates for devices are, therefore, practical options. Oxidation of the PDMS has the additional advantage that it yields channels whose walls are negatively charged when in contact with neutral and basic aqueous solutions; these channels support electroosmotic pumping and can be filled easily with liquids with high surface energies (especially water). The performance of microfluidic systems prepared using this rapid prototyping technique has been evaluated by fabricating a miniaturized capillary electrophoresis system. Amino acids, charge ladders of positively and negatively charged proteins, and DNA fragments were separated in aqueous solutions with this system with resolution comparable to that obtained using fused silica capillaries.  相似文献

A new Pu(VII) compound, Na3[PuO4(OH)2]·2H2O, was prepared by X-ray diffraction analysis, and its structure was studied. To reveal the character of actinide contraction in going from Np(VII) to Pu(VII), the geometric parameters of the tetragonal-bipyramidal surrounding of Pu(VII) in the [PuO4(OH)2]3− anion were compared with those of Np(VII) in the previously studied isostructural compound Na3[NpO4(OH)2]·2H2O. To reveal the specific feature of hydrogen bonding in crystals of the general composition Na3[NpO4(OH)2nH2O (n = 0, 2, 4), the structure of the compound Na3[NpO4(OH)2]·4H2O studied previously by the photographic method was refined. The effect of hydrogen bonds on the geometric characteristics of the coordination polyhedra of the Np and Na atoms was considered.  相似文献

We have investigated the feasibility of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) as a fast, reliable classification tool for sea salts. For 11 kinds of sea salts, potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), and aluminum (Al), concentrations were measured by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES), and the LIBS spectra were recorded in the narrow wavelength region between 760 and 800 nm where K (I), Mg (I), Ca (II), Al (I), and cyanide (CN) band emissions are observed. The ICP-AES measurements revealed that the K, Mg, Ca, and Al concentrations varied significantly with the provenance of each salt. The relative intensities of the K (I), Mg (I), Ca (II), and Al (I) peaks observed in the LIBS spectra are consistent with the results using ICP-AES. The principal component analysis of the LIBS spectra provided the score plot with quite a high degree of clustering. This indicates that classification of sea salts by chemometric analysis of LIBS spectra is very promising. Classification models were developed by partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) and evaluated. In addition, the Al (I) peaks enabled us to discriminate between different production methods of the salts.  相似文献
