Reactive power management and control of distant large-scale offshore wind power farms connected to the grid through high-voltage alternating current (HVAC) transmission cable are presented in this paper. The choice of the transmission option is based on the capacity of the considered wind farm (WF) and the distance to the onshore grid connection point. The WF is made up of identical doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs). Modelling and improved analysis of the effective reactive power capability of DFIGs as affected by various operational constraints are provided. In addition, modelling and analysis of the reactive power demands, balance, and control are presented. The minimum capacity and reactive power settings for reactive power compensation required for the system are determined. Possibility of unity power factor operation suggested by the German electricity association (VDEW) is investigated. A summary of the main outcomes of the work presented in this paper is provided in the conclusions section.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel approach for reactive power compensation and active filtering capability of a variable speed wind energy conversion system (WECS) with doubly fed induction generator (DFIG), without any over‐rating. First, the WECS is capable of capturing maximum wind power under fluctuating wind speed. Second, depending on the available wind power value versus nominal WECS power, power quality can be improved by compensating the reactive power and the grid harmonic currents, without any system over‐rating. The proposed rotor side converter (RSC) control manages the WECS function's priorities, between main active power generation and power quality management. To ensure high filtering performances, we used an improved harmonic isolator in the time domain, based on a selective pass band filter (SPBF) developed in our laboratory. Moreover, we took advantage of the high amplification effect of the rotor side‐controlled DFIG to compensate harmonic currents. Consequently, no over‐rating is necessary for the proposed additional active filtering capability. Simulation results for a 2 MW WECS with DFIG confirm the effectiveness and the performances of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The optimal energy management problem of microgrids is an agenda item for the energy field. Especially industrial microgrids, whose energy demand is high and uninterruptible, need to be managed by a holistic view of optimization. Technical researches in this field are to be enriched with the literature review that looks through various angles. In the scope of this paper, the research literature is reviewed deeply and analyzed with the aim of presenting the gaps. Articles written in English, in the period of 2010 to 2019 have been revised thoroughly. By eliminating the search results, 105 relevant articles have been determined. Objective(s), criteria for analysis, processes included, power source(s), storage system, other system components and methodology of each article have been studied. The literature has been summarized, it has been seen that solar, wind, and diesel sources are used in about 82%, 55%, and 16% of articles, respectively. Then, they have been clustered using self‐organizing maps. Nine clusters have been obtained which separate the articles clearly. Especially, three of them which have fewer data have been analyzed. Clustering results have been interpreted and utilized to show the research openings. Achievements of this study will lead the scientific research that will fill in the gaps.  相似文献

介绍了在链条炉的基础上,以煤粉、天然气的悬浮燃烧方式配合火床燃烧的节能改造技术,对一台20t/h快装链条炉改造后,锅炉启动时升温速度提高,负荷调节的响应时间缩短,锅炉灰渣含碳量由原来的20%降低到5%以下,机械不完全燃烧损失大为降低.过量空气系数由改造前的2.5 ~3降低至1.2 ~1.3,大幅减少了锅炉排烟量,降低了锅炉排烟热损失.锅炉热效率由改造前的62%提高至改造后的77% ~ 80%.  相似文献

Multi-energy industrial parks are required to render a huge variety of services in an eco-friendly, secure, reliable, and affordable way. The industrial energy park is a separate area consisting of multiple distributed generations, energy storage systems, etc., which supply local gas, heating, and electrical consumers. Meanwhile, the integration of power-to-X technologies such as power-to-gas and power-to-heat, which convert the electricity into other forms of energies while facilitating the integration of renewable energy in the industrial park, can enhance the flexibility and efficiency of energy supply. Therefore, this paper proposes novel robust energy management of multi-energy industrial parks integrated with wind power resources, cogeneration units, power-to-X technologies, and demand response programs to total operation cost minimization. The industrial park can simultaneously participate in a multi-energy market, including power, thermal, and gas markets, to meet local heating, gas, and electrical load. The robust optimization framework is extended to address the power price uncertainty and manage the conservatism level of the operator against price variability. The proposed model is examined on the industrial park test system, and numerical results will be presented for the different cases. Under the robust energy management, the total operation cost of the multi-energy industrial park reduces up to 53 %.  相似文献
