The process of friction of a cylinder (roller) rolling over a cylindrical surface (bearing) is studied; the hypothesis is advanced that the local slip of elements of the roller surface can be replaced with relative microdisplacements of these components within the local plastic compression area. The equation of the profile of local plastic compression of the contact surface between the roller and the bearing is introduced. It yields an expression for determination of the moment of resistance to rolling, the rolling friction coefficient, and the length of the roller’s local plastic compression.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to numerically investigate one source of acoustic noise in roller bearings, that which results from the motion of the rollers in the bearing under zero external load. For the sake of simplification, it was assumed that the cylindrical roller bearings are infinitely long. Furthermore, the effects of the following on the noise of the bearing were also examined: the radial clearance of the bearing, the viscosity of the lubricant, and the number of rollers. The results of the study show that the fundamental frequency of the noise components of the cylindrical roller bearing corresponds to the multiplication of the number of rollers and the whirling frequency of the roller center. The acoustical frequency spectra of the cylindrical roller bearing are pure tone spectra, containing the fundamental frequency of the roller bearing and its superharmonics. The factors that decrease the sound pressure level of a cylindrical roller bearing include low lubricant viscosity, high radial clearance, and a reduced number of rollers. The results and discussions of the present article could aid in the design of low-noise cylindrical roller bearings.  相似文献

考虑到圆柱滚子轴承在运转过程中温升对轴承性能的影响,基于滚动轴承动力学理论、摩擦学原理和热分析理论,利用ANSYS建立了圆柱滚子轴承热-应力耦合有限元分析模型,分析了对数修形滚子的凸度值对轴承温升和接触应力的影响以及径向载荷和转速对最优凸度值的影响。结果表明:滚子最高温度随凸度值增大而增大,最大接触应力随凸度值的增大先减小后增大;考虑耦合时轴承零件的接触应力大于未考虑耦合时的接触应力;考虑耦合时滚子最优凸度值随径向载荷和转速的增大而增大,未考虑耦合时滚子最优凸度值随径向载荷增大而增大,但不随转速增大而变化。  相似文献

White etching cracks (WEC) can lead to premature rolling contact fatigue. Possible drivers of WEC can be mixed friction, sliding between rolling elements and raceways, electrical current, critical additives, and water-contaminated lubricant. With respect to WEC failures induced by sliding between rolling elements and raceways under mixed friction, an approach is presented that can explain the experimentally observed failure characteristics of cylindrical roller thrust bearings. Variants of the bearing were tested using a WEC-critical lubricant. The tests showed that not only the contact pressure and sliding between rolling elements and raceways but also the lubrication conditions (specific film thickness) and the frequency of the contact load cycles have an influence on WEC life. These influences are reflected best by a newly introduced characteristic parameter termed friction energy accumulation. As far as WEC failures induced by sliding under mixed friction are concerned the friction energy accumulation could be used for a comparative assessment of the WEC risk of arbitrary rolling bearing applications. A link between the friction energy accumulation and the absorption of hydrogen is discussed and can provide further explanations for the susceptibility of bearing components to WEC formation.  相似文献

航空发动机圆柱滚子主轴承常常因为工作条件恶劣,发生失效。采用光学显微镜、扫描电镜、能谱仪、X射线光电子能谱等对服役后的圆柱滚子轴承进行失效分析。结果表明:根据失效机制与微观形貌对失效模式,可以将圆柱滚子轴承的失效模式分为8种不同的失效模式,包括划伤和擦伤、打滑蹭伤、压坑凹坑、疲劳剥落、振纹、受热变色、内圈烧伤、保持架镀银层磨损。对打滑蹭伤、烧伤和保持架镀银层磨损等失效模式的轴承进行分析,结果表明:在打滑蹭伤的轴承表面发现O元素,表明打滑蹭伤过程中发生了氧化磨损;在烧伤轴承表面发现了Fe的氧化物FeO和Fe2O3,表明轴承在烧伤时温度较高,润滑油膜被破坏,滚子和内圈互相接触发生剧烈磨损;保持架表面银层脱落,部分磨损区域露出铜表面,表明保持架在服役过程中发生了摩擦磨损。  相似文献

建立了基于表面粗糙的高速圆柱滚子轴承非稳态时变热弹流分析模型,分析了轴承滚道与滚动体接触表面粗糙度幅值大小及其方向对轴承弹流性能的影响。理论分析表明:轴承接触表面粗糙纹理方向、粗糙度幅值及其粗糙度波长对高速圆柱滚子轴承的弹流特性具有显著的影响;合理选择轴承接触表面粗糙度幅值、波长及纹理方向,可以有效改善高速圆柱滚子轴承的弹流特性。  相似文献

After a heat preservation cover is installed on the main rolling line, the heat dissipation environment of the transfer roller working on the heat preservation cover is changed. To ensure the normal production, a reasonable working jet capacity of the roller neck is derived. First, a globe model of the transfer roller is built for finite element analysis. Second, the sub-model of the fixed end bearing is built and the boundary condition of the sub-model is supplied by the results of the globe model. The analysis result of the sub-model shows that the temperature of the transfer roller bearing exceeds 85°C a rolling periodicity later. With finite element analysis, the heat flux is obtained and the minimum working jet capacity is derived.  相似文献

高速滚动轴承的摩擦生热已成为影响其工作寿命和可靠性的重要因素。总结了计算机高级编程语言Visual Basic(简称VB)和FORTRAN以及有限元软件ANSYS的特点,结合3者各自的优点以及高速滚动轴承的热分析理论,采用混合编程的方法,开发了高速滚动轴承热分析软件,使用该软件能够方便地完成高速球轴承和高速圆柱滚子轴承的热分析,有效地预测轴承组件在复杂工况条件下的工作温度场。  相似文献

The effect of rolling bearing vibrations on machine noise is experimentally determined. The mechanics of bearing vibration generation and transmission are described. An analytical model for the bearing as a vibration generator is used to identify forcing frequencies, resonant frequencies, and amplitude relationships. Results of measurements of the radial, axial, and angular vibrations of both small ball and large roller bearings are cited. The effect on vibration of masses and compliances attached to the bearing is examined.

The acquisition of high-quality surface images is an important step in the surface damage detection of bearing rollers. In order to improve the quality of image acquisition and take into account the acquisition efficiency, an image acquisition system is designed in this paper. Through the dynamic analysis method, it is proved that the amplitude of the roller itself has little effect on the image in the acquisition process. Subsequently, the response surface method is used to analyze the interactive effect of the light source intensity, incident angle and roller speed on the image quality, and the optimal acquisition parameter setting value suitable for this acquisition system is found. Finally, the image of the bearing cylindrical roller with surface defects is collected to obtain a clear surface image. This paper can provide reference for the design of high level image acquisition system.

在高速轻载的工况条件下,打滑引起的接触表面损坏(如打滑切伤或擦伤)已成为高速滚动轴承的主要失效原因。本文根据牛顿运动定律,建立了滚动轴承动力学模型,分析了轴承元件间的相互作用和滚动轴承的有关动力学特性。利用本文所编制的软件,对滚子的公转和自转转速及保持架转速进行了动态模拟,分析了滚子和保持架的打滑,得到了与实际相符的结果  相似文献
