A melt casting technique for ammonium dinitramine (ADN) and ADN/aluminum was developed. ADN proved relatively easy to cast, when 1% of magnesium oxide was used as a stabilizer and crystallization kernels. Densities of ADN/MgO 99/1 were 92 to 97% of theoretical mean density (TMD) and those of ADN/Al/MgO 64/35/1 were between 95 and 99% of TMD. Sedimentation of Al in the melt was prevented and the particle wetting was ensured by selecting a suitable particle size for Al. No gelling agents or other additives were used. The casting process and factors influencing it are discussed.  相似文献

The lubrication behavior of two series of binary blends containing S-4: PAO-100 or S-4: PIB have been followed. Each series contains 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% of PAO-100 or PIB. The results indicate that upon addition of PAO-100, viscosities, viscosity index, and flash point increase in a linear fashion. Meanwhile, pour point, TAN, and specific gravity remain constant. In the case of PIB, viscosities increase in an exponential manner, viscosity index increases then remains constant, flash point drops, and then leftovers remain constant. Other properties do not change considerably. The rheological properties of 15% and 25% blends of S-4: PAO-100 blends are similar to S-6 and S-8, respectively. Similar conditions exist for 5% and 10% of S-4: PIB blends. A motor oil which has been formulated by 15% S-4: PAO blend and a hydraulic oil which has been formulated by 5% S-4: PIB blend have shown good performance characteristics.  相似文献

The aim of the present paper is to increase the efficiency of low-temperature gas separation plant with use of simulation dynamic model. The paper analyzes the main processes occurring at the installation and performs the results of model verification. In addition, the technological scheme of natural low-temperature gas separation and operating parameters of one of the existing installations were considered. A non-stationary mathematical model of the chemical-technological system of low-temperature gas separation was developed. Due to the unsteady mathematical model, it became possible to estimate the time spent on the transient phenomena, as well as to choose the rate of low-temperature separation control parameters change, depending on the technological mode. Eventually, the calculations show how it is possible to avoid the instability of plant operation upset conditions at the workplace. The field of the developed model application is oil and gas industry and also higher education institutions. This software can be used to test the stability of both existing and projected low-temperature gas separation plants.  相似文献

Shakespeare seems to describe appropriately the Environmental Protection Agency's proposed new Clean Power Act rule, a 645-page monstrosity that will, supposedly, reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from electric-generating plants by 30 percent from 2005 levels by 2030. Although power plant emissions have already decreased significantly since 2005, thanks to the wonders of hydraulic fracturing and low-cost natural gas, the EPA's rule nevertheless is supposed to save the world from the multitudinous horrors that will be wrought by global warming—climate change, climate volatility, or whatever today's favorite moniker happens to be.  相似文献

The reactions that lead to long-term storage instability of fuels are not fully understood. Various reports in the literature link particular fuels with specific reactions, usually oxidation or free radical processes. Trace quantities of metals are present in all processed fuels. The metal source can be naturally occurring or present from fuel handling. The usual case is to look at the reaction of the metal or metal ion with molecular oxygen or other active oxygen species such as hydroperoxides. This article reports on the reaction of a nitrogen heterocycle, indole. We propose a mechanism that shows that catalytic amounts of nickel can produce compounds of higher molecular weight and increased polarity.  相似文献
