系统休眠与唤醒作为电源管理的关键技术之一,实现了处理器功耗模式的切换和设备电源管理的间接管理。根据S3C6410处理器模块的特性和Windows Embedded CE 6.0电源管理驱动结构,研究并实现了嵌入式系统休眠与唤醒;同时,还对唤醒源设置这样的关键问题进行了研究,最后对该休眠与唤醒策略进行了功能验证和性能分析。实验结果表明,本设计具有良好的稳定性和有效性。通过对休眠唤醒在系统的电源管理过程中发挥的作用进行了定量分析,不失一般性,本设计可为其他嵌入式系统功耗控制提供参考解决方案。  相似文献

We introduce a method to dynamically construct highly concurrent linked lists on modern graphics processors. Once constructed, these data structures can be used to implement a host of algorithms useful in creating complex rendering effects in real time. We present a straightforward way to create these linked lists using generic atomic operations available in APIs such as OpenGL 4.0 and DirectX 11. We also describe several possible applications of our algorithm. One example uses per‐pixel linked lists for order‐independent transparency; as a consequence, we are able to directly implement fully programmable blending, which frees developers from the restrictions imposed by current graphics APIs. The principle of information hiding has been very influential in software engineering since its inception in 1972. This principle prescribes that software modules hide implementation details from other modules in order to reduce their dependencies. This separation also decreases the dependency among software developers implementing these modules, thus simplifying the required coordination. A common instantiation of this principle widely used in the industry is in the form of application programming interfaces (APIs). While previous studies report on the general use and benefits of APIs, they have glossed over the detailed ways in which APIs facilitate the coordination of work. In order to unveil these mechanisms, we performed a qualitative study on how practitioners use APIs in their daily work. Using ethnographic data from two different software development teams, we identified three roles played by APIs in the coordination of software development projects. These roles are described using three metaphors: APIs as contracts, APIs as boundaries, and APIs as communication mechanisms. As contracts, APIs allow software developers to work in parallel and independently. As a communication mechanism, APIs facilitate communication among software developers by giving them something specific to talk about. At the same time, APIs establish the boundaries between developers, and, accordingly, what should be talked about. This paper also reports on problems the studied teams face when using APIs to coordinate their work. Based on these results, we draw theoretical implications for collaborative software engineering.  相似文献

Bristol Technology develops software tools-in particular cross-platform tools that software developers use to port applications software to Unix from other operating system platforms. Bristol had an agreement with Microsoft to get access to technical information about the Win98 application interfaces (APIs), the means for causing applications software to interact with the operating system. According to Bristol, its Wind/U tool was making it too easy for developers to write Unix programs that could also run under NT. Microsoft therefore used pretexts to deny Bristol access to the updated APIs for Windows NT 5, the operating system that will follow Win98 (probably under the name Windows 2000). Microsoft denies that it is doing any more than trying to gain a fair price for the crown jewels of its intellectual property. Yes; Microsoft is demanding four times as high a fee for access to the source code needed to use the NT APIs, but NT code is worth much more than that for Win98 or Win95. 针对当前Android系统第三方应用程序组件中普遍存在的各种安全问题,分析了引起这种问题的原因。提出了一种基于静态分析Android应用程序中四种组件的属性信息和Java系统服务中的敏感API(Application Programming Interface)调用信息,通过构建Android应用程序的函数调用关系图,检测组件入口函数和和敏感API之间可能存在的不安全的静态可执行路径。该方案主要利用反编译、XML(extensible markup language)文件解析和正则表达式匹配技术以获取应用程序的组件和敏感API的调用信息。实验结果表明了该方案的可行性和有效性。  相似文献

Iterative adaptation is a novel approach to adaptation for resource-limited mobile and wireless environments that supports powerful application-specific adaptations without requiring modifications to the application's source code. Common productivity applications, such as browsers, word processors, and presentation tools, export APIs that allow external applications to control their operation. The novel premise in iterative adaptation is that these APIs are sufficient to support a wide range of adaptation policies for applications running on resource-limited devices. In addition to allowing adaptation without having to change the application's source code, this approach has a unique combination of advantages. First, it supports centralized management of resources across multiple applications. Second, it makes it possible to modify application behavior after the application has been deployed. This paper evaluates the extent to which existing APIs can be used for the purposes of adapting document-based applications to run on bandwidth-limited devices. In particular, we implement a large number of bandwidth adaptations for applications from the Microsoft Office and the OpenOffice productivity suites and for Internet Explorer. Although we find limitations in their APIs, we are able to implement many adaptation policies without much complexity and with good performance. Moreover, iterative adaptation achieves performance similar to an approach that implements adaptation by modifying the application, while requiring only a fraction of the coding effort.  相似文献

Software systems are commonly implemented with the support of libraries, which provide features via APIs. Ideally, APIs should have some characteristics, for example, they should be well documented and stable so that client systems can confidently rely on them. However, not all APIs are equal in number of clients: while some APIs are very popular and used worldwide, other may face much lower usage rates. In this context, one question appears: are there particular characteristics that differentiate popular APIs from ordinary APIs? Answering this question can uncover how worldwide APIs are actually implemented and maintained, revealing practices to better support both research and development on APIs. In this paper, we assess the characteristics of popular APIs, including their size, legibility, documentation, stability, and client adoption. We analyze 1491 APIs provided by Java, Android, and 165 libraries. We detect that popular APIs are distinct from ordinary ones, for example, often, popular APIs are larger, have more comments, and are more unstable than ordinary APIs. Finally, we provide a set of lessons learned from the popular APIs on factors that developers can control, such as the exposure of public methods and the API stability.
