Predictive models for assessing the risk of developing lung cancers can help identify high-risk individuals with the aim of recommending further screening and early intervention.To facilitate pre-hospital self-assessments,some studies have exploited predictive models trained on non-clinical data(e.g.,smoking status and family history).The performance of these models is limited due to not considering clinical data(e.g.,blood test and medical imaging results).Deep learning has shown the potential in processing complex data that combine both clinical and non-clinical information.However,predicting lung cancers remains difficult due to the severe lack of positive samples among follow-ups.To tackle this problem,this paper presents a generative-discriminative framework for improving the ability of deep learning models to generalize.According to the proposed framework,two nonlinear generative models,one based on the generative adversarial network and another on the variational autoencoder,are used to synthesize auxiliary positive samples for the training set.Then,several discriminative models,including a deep neural network(DNN),are used to assess the lung cancer risk based on a comprehensive list of risk factors.The framework was evaluated on over 55000 subjects questioned between January 2014 and December 2017,with 699 subjects being clinically diagnosed with lung cancer between January 2014 and August 2019.According to the results,the best performing predictive model built using the proposed framework was based on DNN.It achieved an average sensitivity of 76.54%and an area under the curve of 69.24%in distinguishing between the cases of lung cancer and normal cases on test sets.  相似文献

Fluxgate sensor is mainly composed of detectors and circuits. Its output is changing both with the magnetic field and the environment temperature. In order to determine the temperature drift of the fluxgate sensor detectors in a wide temperature range, this paper has recorded the output curves of the magnetic sensor detectors with the temperature changing from -40 ℃ to 150 ℃. The curve is approximate linearity and the output is in direct proportion to the temperature. The drift is caused by the changing of the enamelled wire and the magnetic hysteresis loop. It compensates the temperature drifts with the method of least squares, which effectively eliminates the influence of temperature on the sensor detectors. This special issue of the International Journal of Software and Informatics (IJSI) contains three papers that are based on papers originally presented at The 6th International Symposium on Visual Information Communication and Interaction (VINCI’13) which took place during 17-18 August 2013 in Tianjin, China. After the conference publication, authors were given ten months time until June 2014 to significantly expand their papers with new material and more detail. Papers then underwent twelve months of rigorous and multiple reviews and revisions. The result is this collection of papers that I have the pleasure to present here. This diverse selection offers the reader a sampling of some of the current research directions in information visualisation. The evolution of energetic outer zone electron fluxes during the strong magnetic storm on September 28, 2002 is investigated based on the observations of SAMPEX and GOES-10 satellites. The observations of both satellites showed that energetic electron fluxes increased significantly during the storm recovery phase, and reached the maximum on October 6. We propose a modeling methodology for both leakage power consumption and delay of basic CMOS digital gates in the presence of threshold voltage and mobility variations. The key parameters in determining the leakage and delay are OFF and ON currents, respectively, which are both affected by the variation of the threshold voltage. Additionally, the current is a strong function of mobility. The proposed methodology relies on a proper modeling of the threshold voltage and mobility variations, which may be induced by any source. Using this model, in the plane of threshold voltage and mobility, we determine regions for different combinations of performance (speed) and leakage. Based on these regions, we discuss the trade-off between leakage and delay where the leakage-delay-product is the optimization objective. To assess the accuracy of the proposed model, we compare its predictions with those of HSPICE simulations for both basic digital gates and ISCAS85 benchmark circuits in 45-, 65-, and 90-nm technologies.  相似文献

An appropriate assessment of end-to-end network performance presumes highly efficient time tracking and measurement with precise time control of the stopping and resuming of program operation. In this paper, a novel approach to solving the problems of highly efficient and precise time measurements on PC-platforms and on ARM-architectures is proposed. A new unified High Performance Timer and a corresponding software library offer a unified interface to the known time counters and automatically identify the fastest and most reliable time source, available in the user space of a computing system. The research is focused on developing an approach of unified time acquisition from the PC hardware and accordingly substituting the common way of getting the time value through Linux system calls. The presented approach provides a much faster means of obtaining the time values with a nanosecond precision than by using conventional means. Moreover, it is capable of handling the sequential time value, precise sleep functions and process resuming. This ability means the reduction of wasting computer resources during the execution of a sleeping process from 100% (busy-wait) to 1-1.5%, whereas the benefits of very accurate process resuming times on long waits are maintained.  相似文献

The instability of borehole wall is always a difficult question in drilling borehole progress.It increases the cost of production and prolongs production cycle.So it has a significant research value.Considering the effect of mud pressure and pore pressure on the stability of borehole wall,this paper establishes a math model by applying the two-dimensional bond theory of Biot.It applies the method of the numerical simulation to analyze the effect of mud pressure and pore pressure on the stability of borehole wall.The simulation results show that the mud pressure imposes great influence on stress field and on the deformation of borehole soil,which provides a theoretical basis during the drilling process to avoid the instability of the borehole and to study how to select reasonable mud and mud pressure.  相似文献

With the rapid growth of electronic commerce and associated demands on variants of Internet based applications,application systems providing network resources and business services are in high demand around the world.To guarantee robust security and computational efficiency for service retrieval,a variety of authentication schemes have been proposed.However,most of these schemes have been found to be lacking when subject to a formal security analysis.Recently,Chang et al.(2014) introduced a formally provable secure authentication protocol with the property of user-untraceability.Unfortunately,based on our analysis,the proposed scheme fails to provide the property of user-untraceability as claimed,and is insecure against user impersonation attack,server counterfeit attack,and man-in-the-middle attack.In this paper,we demonstrate the details of these malicious attacks.A security enhanced authentication scheme is proposed to eliminate all identified weaknesses.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel encoding technique to minimize the switch activities on the highly capacitive memory address bus so as to reduce power dissipation of bus. This technique is based on the temporal locality and spatial locality of instruction address. The experimental results based on an instruction set simulator and SPEC2000 benchmarks show that the presented encoding technique can reduce signal transitions on the address bus by 83.8%, and the actual overhead of the encoder circuit is estimated after encoder has been designed and synthesized with 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The results show that our technique well outperforms specialized low-power encoding schemes presented in the past.  相似文献

For identifying the tire/road friction coefficient accurately in real-time to meet the needs of automobile electronic control system and then improving the active safety performance of automobile, the road recognition method based on fuzzy control algorithm was studied in this paper. Adopt a 7-DOF vehicle dynamic model, wheel slip ratio λ and longitudinal forces Fx as the input of fuzzy controller with fuzzy rules was proposed. The output is the weight coefficient of μ-λ functional expression which is related to c1, c2 and c3 proposed by Burckhardt etc. By a simulation experiment of automobile brake on the condition of driving straight or veering on a single road and docking pavement, to some extent, indicates that this method is able to guarantee the real-time and accuracy of the road identification.  相似文献
