The effect of processing parameters on the flow response and microstructural evolution of the α+β titanium alloy Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si has been studied by conducting isothermal hot compressive tests at a strain rate of 0.01-10 s-1 at 860-1100℃.The true stress-true strain curves of the sample hot-compressed in the α+β phase region exhibit a peak stress followed by continuous flow softening,whereas in the β region,the flow stress attains a steady-state regime.At a strain rate of 10 S-1,the alloy exhibits plastic flow instabilities.According to the kinetic rate equation,the apparent activation energies are estimated to be about 674-705 KJ/mol in the α+β region and 308-335 kJ/mol in the β region,respectively.When deformed in the α+β region,the globularization process of the α colony structure occurs,and α dynamic recrystallized microstructures are observed to show bimodal.Dynamic recrystallization can take place in the β region irrespective of starting deformed structures.  相似文献

The effects of carbon addition (0.01wt%-0.43wt%) on a Ti-5.6Al-4.8Sn-2Zr-1Mo-0.35Si-1Nd (wt%) alloy with a bimodal microstructure were investigated. Electron probe microanalysis was carried out to examine the partitioning behavior of carbon and the relation of carbon content to the distributions of Al and Mo in the primary α phase (αp) and β transformed structure (β). It was found that interstitial carbon is enriched in the αp phase and its content slightly reduces with the increase of the volume fraction of αp.The measurements of carbon content in the present alloy with an αp of 15vo1% showed that the carbon content in the αp phase increases with the increment of carbon addition until a maximum but keeps almost constant in the β phase. The addition of carbon reduces the solubility of Al and Mo in the αp phase and leads to the increment of Mo partitioning to the β phase. When the carbon content is over 0.17wt% (0.67at%), carbide precipitation occurs in the matrix and its volume fraction is related to the volume fraction of αp which can be explained in term of the difference of carbon solubility in the αp and β phases.  相似文献

The development of microstructure during the aging of Ti-10V-2Fe-3A1 alloy in the β and (α β) solution-treated and quenched conditions was investigated. The results showed that the isothermal holding below 400℃ yielded homogeneously distributed, spherical ω-phase particles. Fine α aggregates are formed uniformly within β grains by nucleating at ω particles or β/ω interfaces. At higher temperatures, thin martensite plates decomposed in water-quenched condition. The formation of ω phase was avoided and coarse α-phase plates directly precipitated from the β matrix. The highest hardness values were found when the alloys were aged at 400℃ for 8 h. The significance of the observations was discussed in terms of the effect of aging on the precipitations and property.  相似文献

本研究采用高通量梯度热处理,建立了亚稳β钛合金Ti-6.8Mo-3.9Al-2.8Cr-2Nb-1.2V-1Zr-1Sn的微观组织与热处理之间的关系。首先,在梯度热处理炉中,对直径为10 mm、长度为92 mm的棒材进行746~909℃(β-转变温度(845±5)℃)的连续温度梯度固溶处理。然后,将梯度固溶后的样品切割成4个相同样品,其中3个样品分别在450℃、550℃和600℃下时效8 h。通过单个高通量样品的制备与表征,快速建立固溶温度对时效硬化行为的影响规律模型,并对梯度组织进行表征。结果表明:随固溶温度的升高,次生α相(αs)的宽度和间距减小,强度提高,伸长率降低,而随时效温度的升高,呈现相反的趋势;746°C固溶处理2 h后再在600°C时效8 h,获得了由初生α相(αp),亚微米级棒状α相(αr)和次生αs相组成的异构组织,具备很好强的韧性匹配,屈服强度和伸长率分别为1140 MPa和15%。  相似文献
