摘 要:在集约化网络的建设背景下,如何实现自动化、智能化、保体验的基站能耗管理,成为当前运营商的运营管理痛点。创新地提出一种全智能检测、全场景建模、全流程自助的3G/4G/5G智能基站节电方案,通过动态时间规整算法区分覆盖场景,利用SARIMA模型预测时间框构建自适应模型,实时监控指标保证用户感知,自动下发节电策略,短信告警及时拉起。在用户无感知的情况下,实现小区粒度级最大限度节约基站能耗。该方法已在某省网络试点推行,试点区域单站平均节电效率可达9.24%每日,具备实际生产指导意义。 相似文献

With the constant increase in network traffic, wireless operators are finding it more challenging to keep network hardware costs to a minimum. At the same time, the energy cost associated with operating a network has increased proportionally. Therefore, the search for higher network capacity is simultaneously accompanied by the search for a cost‐efficient network deployment. In this paper, we show that a saving in transmitted signal energy can be achieved at the signal design level by deploying very specific signal processing techniques. Using an orthogonal frequency‐division multiplexing signal for Long‐Term Evolution networks as an example, we utilize a novel non‐uniform companding quantizer to save a transmitted signal energy. Our results show that by using non‐uniform quantization it is possible to further optimize 4G wireless networks. 相似文献

近年来光网络朝着高速率、大带宽的方向迅猛发展,设备数目快速增加导致网络能耗急剧增长。为了降低网络能耗,提高能量利用率,绿色IP over WDM网络的概念被提出,并成为光网络领域的最新研究热点之一。对现有光网络节能方法的研究状况进行综述,从网络设备入手,讨论业务负载和设备能耗的关系,建立了两种能耗模型。基于IP over WDM网络结构,利用数学表达式描述了网络能耗最小化问题。对当前网络级的节能方法进行分类,分析了其基本原理和节能效果,并选取代表性的节能方法进行比较,得出了现有方法存在的局限性和不足,对进一步的研究方向提出了建议。 相似文献

In this article we describe the QoS concept of the evolved packet system, which was standardized in 3GPP Release 8. The concept provides access network operators and service operators with a set of tools to enable service and subscriber differentiation. Such tools are becoming increasingly important as operators are moving from a single to a multi-service offering at the same time as both the number of mobile broadband subscribers and the traffic volume per subscriber is rapidly increasing. The ?bearer? is a central element of the EPS QoS concept and is the level of granularity for bearer-level QoS control. The network-initiated QoS control paradigm specified in EPS is a set of signaling procedures for managing bearers and controlling their QoS assigned by the network. The EPS QoS concept is class-based, where each bearer is assigned one and only one QoS class identifier by the network. The QCI is a scalar that is used within the access network as a reference to node-specific parameters that control packet forwarding treatment. This class-based approach, together with the network-initiated QoS control paradigm, gives network operators full control over the QoS provided for its offered services for each of its subscriber groups. 相似文献

During the last two decades we have witnessed a rapid growth in wireless communication services, which has dramatically increased the number of necessary radio access components to provide the adequate capacity and acceptable quality of service. The power cost for operating this huge number of radio Base Stations (BSs) is under serious consideration by the mobile communication industry and recent research efforts have focused on energy efficient design and optimization of the radio access network in order to alleviate the energy consumption and mobile network operators OPEX. In this work, we consider a deployment of heterogeneous BSs to serve a given geographical area and propose two energy-aware algorithms to optimally determine the operational mode of those BSs under various traffic load conditions. Performance evaluation results show that the proposed algorithms can provide near optimal solutions and achieve substantial network energy consumption reduction without compromising the efficient operation of the mobile network. We further benefit from the outcome of this formulation framework and propose BS activation schemes that yield proper BS activation profiles for continuous-time operation in the same network deployment. Various traffic loads are investigated in several simulation campaigns and our proposed schemes yield quite satisfactory energy saving gains compared to fully operational topology networks in all scenarios of interest examined. 相似文献
