An intelligent mosquito net employing deep learning has been one of the hotspots in the field of Internet of Things as it can reduce significantly the spread of pathogens carried by mosquitoes, and help people live well in mosquito-infested areas. In this study, we propose an intelligent mosquito net that can produce and transmit data through the Internet of Medical Things. In our method, decision-making is controlled by a deep learning model, and the proposed method uses infrared sensors and an array of pressure sensors to collect data. Moreover the ZigBee protocol is used to transmit the pressure map which is formed by pressure sensors with the deep learning perception model, determining automatically the intention of the user to open or close the mosquito net. We used optical flow to extract pressure map features, and they were fed to a 3-dimensional convolutional neural network (3D-CNN) classification model subsequently. We achieved the expected results using a nested cross-validation method to evaluate our model. Deep learning has better adaptability than the traditional methods and also has better anti-interference by the different bodies of users. This research has the potential to be used in intelligent medical protection and large-scale sensor array perception of the environment. 相似文献

Security measures and contingency plans have been established in order to ensure human safety especially in the floating elements like ferry, ro-ro, catamaran, frigate, yacht that are the vehicles services for the purpose of logistic and passenger transport. In this paper, all processes in the event of Man overboard (MOB)are initiated for smart transportation. In MOB the falling person is totally dependent on the person who first saw the falling person. The main objective of this paper is to develop a solution to this significant problem. If a staff member or a passenger does not see the fall into the sea, undesirable situations such as disappearance, injury and death can occur during the period until the absence of the fallen person is noticed. In this paper, a comprehensive and improved solution is provided in terms of personnel and passenger security especially in all the floating elements, in which human resources are intensively involved like passengers, freight, logistics, fishing, business, yacht, leisure and naval vessels. In this case, if the ship's personnel or passengers fall into the sea in any way, it detected the fallen person into the sea by the sensors in the portable emergency device, which each person will carry. The warning system is activated via the in-ship automation system to which the information is transmitted by wireless communication. Thus, the case of MOB will be determined quickly. Internet of things (IoT) has a key role in identifying the location and information of the person falling into the sea through sensors, radio frequency, GPS and connected devices. Simultaneously, the alarm system on board will be activated and MOB flag (Oscar) will automatically be opened. This paper enables the Search and rescue (SAR) operations to be initiated and accelerated without losing time through decision-making process. 相似文献

Internet of Things (IoT) paves a new direction in the domain of smart farming and precision agriculture. Smart farming is an upgraded version of agriculture which is aimed at improving the cultivation practices and yield to a certain extent. In smart farming, IoT devices are linked among one another with new technologies to improve the agricultural practices. Smart farming makes use of IoT devices and contributes in effective decision making. Rice is the major food source in most of the countries. So, it becomes inevitable to detect rice plant diseases during early stages with the help of automated tools and IoT devices. The development and application of Deep Learning (DL) models in agriculture offers a way for early detection of rice diseases and increase the yield and profit. This study presents a new Convolutional Neural Network-based inception with ResNset v2 model and Optimal Weighted Extreme Learning Machine (CNNIR-OWELM)-based rice plant disease diagnosis and classification model in smart farming environment. The proposed CNNIR-OWELM method involves a set of IoT devices which capture the images of rice plants and transmit it to cloud server via internet. The CNNIR-OWELM method uses histogram segmentation technique to determine the affected regions in rice plant image. In addition, a DL-based inception with ResNet v2 model is engaged to extract the features. Besides, in OWELM, the Weighted Extreme Learning Machine (WELM), optimized by Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA), is employed for classification purpose. The FPA is incorporated into WELM to determine the optimal parameters such as regularization coefficient C and kernel . The outcome of the presented model was validated against a benchmark image dataset and the results were compared with one another. The simulation results inferred that the presented model effectively diagnosed the disease with high sensitivity of 0.905, specificity of 0.961, and accuracy of 0.942. 相似文献
