Environmentally friendly microwave absorbers with superior electromagnetic wave absorption, lightweight and hydrophobic ability have received considerable attention in practical applications. However, addressing the above-mentioned characteristics is simultaneously a tremendous challenge. Along these lines, in this work, a lightweight and efficient hybrid material was fabricated by employing simple self-assembly of core-shell ZnFe2O4@C nanospheres embedded within longan shell-derived honeycomb-like porous carbon. The results display that the carbon skeleton not only improves the conduction loss, but also promotes the reflection and scattering of EM wave. In addition, the core-shell ZnFe2O4@C microspheres are conducive to enhancing the ability of interface polarization and magnetic loss, and further improving the synergistic effect between the dielectric loss and magnetic loss. Furthermore, the unique structure of the ZnFe2O4@C@BPC endows it excellent hydrophobicity and avoids water vapor contamination in practical applications. Precisely, at a thickness of 3.4 mm, the minimum reflection loss (RL) is up to ?58.6 dB at 12.9 GHz. Notably, the effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) is as wide as 9.1 GHz (8.9–18.0 GHz), covering almost the entire X and Ku bands. Consequently, this outstanding performance renders the ZnFe2O4@C@BPC composite quite attractive for a broad range of applications in lightweight, hydrophobic microwave absorption materials.  相似文献

In order to overcome the problems caused by electromagnetic pollution, the design and development of high-performance microwave absorbers is urgently required. In this work, a hierarchical ZnFe2O4@MnO2@RGO composite was successfully fabricated via a facile and rapid hydrothermal method. Its unique core-shell structure and synergistic effect between multiple components are beneficial for electromagnetic wave absorption. The morphology, elemental composition, microstructure and microwave absorption characteristics were systematically studied. With a filler loading of 20 wt%, the composite presents a minimum reflection loss (RLmin) of ?46.7 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) as wide as 5.2 GHz at a thickness of 2.5 mm. The superior absorption ability profits from a special microstructure, good impedance matching, multiple attenuation features, interfacial polarization, and the synergistic effect of dielectric and magnetic loss. Consequently, this work lays a foundation for the design of high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers with multicomponent heterogeneous structures.  相似文献

Sustainable renewable polymer foam used as a lightweight porous skeleton for microwave absorption is a novel strategy that can effectively solve the problems of the large surface density, high additive amount, and narrow absorbing band of absorbing materials. In this article, novel renewable microwave-absorbing foams were prepared using Sapiumse biferum kernel oil-based polyurethane foam (BPUF) as porous matrix and Fe3O4-nanoparticles as magnetic absorbents. The microstructure and the microwave absorption performance, the structural effects on the properties, and electromagnetic mechanism of the magnetic BPUF (mBPUF) were systematically characterized and analyzed. The results show that the mBPUF displayed a porous hierarchical structure and was multi-interfacial, which provided a skeleton and matching layer for the Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The effective reflection loss (RL ≤ −10 dB) frequency of the mBPUF was from 4.16 GHz to 18 GHz with only 9 wt% content of Fe3O4 nanoparticles at a thickness of 1.5~5 mm. The surface density of the mBPUF coatings was less than 0.5 kg/cm2 at a thickness of 1.8 mm. The lightweight characteristics and broadband absorption were attributed to the porous hierarchical structures and the dielectric combined with the magnetic loss effect. It indicates that the mBPUF is a prospective broadband-absorbing material in the field of lightweight stealth materials.  相似文献

In this work, porous core-shell structured Co2Si@SiC/C/SiOC/SiO2/Co3O4 nanoparticles were fabricated by a polymer-derived ceramic approach. The in situ formation of mesopores on the shell, microstructural, and phase evolution of resulting nanoparticles were investigated in detail. The obtained nanoparticles-paraffin composites possess a very low minimum reflection coefficient (RCmin) −60.9 dB, broad effective absorption bandwidth 3.50 GHz in the X-band and 15.5 GHz in the whole frequency range (from 2.5 to 18 GHz). The results indicate outstanding electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbing performance among all the reported cobalt-based nanomaterials, due to the reasons as follows: (a) The unique core-shell structure as well as complex phase composition of SiC/C/SiOC/SiO2/Co3O4 in the shell, result in a large number of heterogeneous interfaces in the nanoparticles; (b) Nanoparticles have both dielectric and magnetic loss; (c) Mesopores in the shell prolong the propagation path of EMW, thereby increasing the absorption/reflection ratio of EMWs. Thanks to the material structure design, the resulting core-shell structured cobalt-containing ceramic nanoparticles have great potential for thin and high-performance EMW absorbing materials applied in harsh environment.  相似文献

There has been a growing demand for materials with superior absorption capabilities, such as strong absorbing capacity, thin thickness, and light weight, to solve challenges related to EM radiation pollution. While the majority of the research is focused on optimizing material compositions, component microstructure and absorber structure are also critical factors for improving microwave absorption performance. In this research, we show how the microstructure of components and absorber design may increase dissipation features. Solvothermal and hydrothermal methods were utilized for synthesizing mesoporous CuS micro-particles with a 3D hierarchical structure as a dielectric component and nanospheres like NiCo2O4 as magnetic components respectively. The formation of pure phases with the mentioned microstructures was confirmed via XRD, FTIR, UV–Vis, XPS, VSM, FESEM and BET analysis. According to VNA results, the minimum reflection loss can be achieved to ?33 dB at 11 GHz with a total thickness of 2 mm in which each layer thickness was considered 1 mm (CuS placed at top layer and NiCo2O4 placed at bottom layer). The RL values of bilayer absorber were strongly affected by both the microstructure of the components and tuning the thickness and arrangement of each layer. We offer a potential technique for enhancing microwave dissipation performance by combining the synergistic effects between the microstructure, thickness and arrangement of layers in a bilayer absorber.  相似文献

Novel SiC-based nanomaterials, namely the nitrogen and aluminum co-doped SiC@SiO2 core-shell nanowires and nitrogen-doped SiO2/Al2O3 nanoparticles, have been fabricated through a facile thermal treatment process based on the chemical vapor deposition and vapor-liquid reaction. These nanomaterials show remarkable hydrophobicity with a water contact angle (CA) over 140°, which are aroused by the surface zigzag morphology of the nanostructures and the hydrocarbyl groups generated during the preparation process. Moreover the nanocomposites also exhibit relatively prominent microwave absorption (MA) properties in the frequency range of 2.0-18.0 GHz. The minimum reflection loss (RL) value as low as −23.68 dB can be observed at 14.16 GHz when the absorber thickness is 2.6 mm with a loading rate of 16.7 wt%. And the nanocomposites-based absorbent can achieve an effective absorption bandwidth (RL < −10 dB) of 4.48 GHz with the absorbent thickness of 2.5 mm. This enhanced microwave attenuation performance can be attributed to multiple polarizations and perfect impedance matching conditions, as well as multiple internal reflections. These marvelous properties make these N and Al co-doped SiC@SiO2 core-shell nanowires and N-doped SiO2/Al2O3 nanoparticles display extensive application potential as MA materials in harsh environment.  相似文献

In this work, X-band microwave absorbing properties of gelcasted SiC-Si3N4 ceramics with different hierarchical pore structures at both room temperature and high temperature were reported for the first time. Effects of pore structures, sample thickness and temperature on complex permittivity and microwave absorption performance of SiC-Si3N4 ceramics were investigated systemically. The results suggested that the introduction of appropriate hierarchical pore structure was beneficial to improve the absorbing performance of the material. The minimum reflection loss value can reach -59.2 dB for the 3.8 mm thick sample at 8.35 GHz and room temperature. By elevating the temperature, the effective absorption bandwidth of porous SiC-Si3N4 with a thickness of 3.0 mm covers the entire X-band. The excellent microwave absorbing property of porous SiC-Si3N4 ceramics was attributed to the multiple reflections brought about by the existence of hierarchical pores, interfacial polarization between SiC and Si3N4 grains, and defect dipole polarization in grains and grain boundaries. The good absorbing property and the clarification of absorbing mechanism of porous gelcasted SiC-Si3N4 ceramics will provide a solid foundation for the development of porous SiC-based absorbing parts.  相似文献

Carbon-encapsulated Co3O4 nanoparticles homogeneously embedded 2D (two-dimensional) porous graphitic carbon (PGC) nanosheets were prepared by a facile and scalable synthesis method. With assistance of sodium chloride, the Co3O4 nanoparticles (10–20 nm) with magnetic loss were well encapsulated by onion-like carbon shells homogeneously embedded porous graphitic carbon nanosheets (thickness of less than 50 nm) with dielectric loss. In the architecture, the well impedance matching for microwave absorption can be obtained by the synergetic effect between Co3O4 nanoparticles and encapsulated porous carbon nanosheets. The minimum reflection loss value of −32.3 dB was observed at 11.4 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.3 mm for 2D Co3O4@C@PGC nanosheets. The 2D Co3O4@C@PGC nanosheets can be used as a kind of candidate for microwave absorbing materials.  相似文献

In this research, we developed a wideband electromagnetic wave absorber suitable for the X-band frequency by using a unique hybrid nanocomposite structure made of FeWO4 embellished with Ag3PO4 nanopowders. Simple chemical hydrothermal and microwave-aided hydrothermal procedures were used to successfully produce single-phase spherical-like FeWO4 and FeWO4@Ag3PO4 nanocomposite powders. Using XRD, FTIR, VSM, FESEM, and VNA methods, the phase constituents, morphological, magnetic, and electromagnetic properties of the produced nanocomposite materials were assessed. The resin-based nanocomposite absorber sample allows to obtain a maximum reflection loss of ?21 dB with a matching thickness of 1.8 mm at the ferromagnetic resonance of 10.4 GHz with a 3.8 GHz effective absorption bandwidth, which is evaluated using the waveguide technique, when the filler loading percentage reaches 40 wt percent (S40). S40 had superior impedance matching capabilities, a wide effective absorption bandwidth, and a high absorption capacity when compared to other produced absorber samples. The best sample is prepared for free-space testing with the dimension of 200 × 200 mm and an optimum thickness of 1.8 mm, and the results demonstrate a good agreement between the waveguide and free-space technique results. This absorber sample's wideband absorption capacity was attained by adjusting the magneto-electric composition and enhancing the interfacial characteristics brought on by the core-shell construction. In this study, a design approach for efficient microwave absorbers based on a magneto-electric hybrid nanocomposite structure is presented, using waveguide and free-space experimental methods in two different ways.  相似文献

Due to the escalating demand for electronic dependability and defense security, there has been a surge in research into broadband and lightweight microwave absorbers. Porous composites that are lightweight and plentiful in interfaces have the potential to be high-performance absorbers due to their ability to attenuate waves in a balanced manner and match impedance. “Using a solvothermal technique we generated FeSe2/rGO composites with a porous topology. By varying the weight of rGO, the electromagnetic properties of FeSe2/rGO composites may be finely tuned. Impedance matching and attenuation capability are both improved as a direct result of the porous structure and the appropriate electromagnetic parameters. FeSe2/rGO composites benefit from the tunable composition, porous structure, and strong synergistic effect between FeSe2 and rGO sheets and display outstanding microwave absorption performance with an ultrabroad bandwidth approaching 5.2 GHz with a thin thickness of 1.6 mm which covers 75% of the studied frequency range. At the same thickness, a significant reflection loss of ?43.7 dB is attained. This work not only enables the tuning of electromagnetic parameters but also expands the use of high-performance microwave absorption devices. Remarkable microwave absorption ability, of the porous composites FeSe2/rGO can be utilized as a high-performance microwave absorber.”  相似文献

Dual-phase high entropy oxide (HEO) ceramics (FeCoNiZn)xV2Oy were prepared using a simple sintering process. Vanadium oxide was selected due to the characteristics of reduction ability and multiphase transformation under different conditions. The crystal structure, microstructure, elemental chemical state, magnetic property and microwave absorption (MA) properties of HEO ceramics were studied. The results show that the two-phase structure is spinel phase and vanadate phase, and there are oxygen vacancies in the samples. Magnetic properties can be promoted with high content of spinel phase. Lots of oxygen vacancies were found in the sample sintered at 900 °C, which exhibited good MA ability. The minimum reflection loss (RL) of ?36.5 dB was obtained at 10.72 GHz with a thickness of 2.2 mm, while the effective bandwidth reached 2.77 GHz. Large number of oxygen vacancies can speed up the migration of electrons or ions, thereby improving the dielectric loss capability.  相似文献

BaFe12O19, a traditional ferrite, has always been extensively investigated as a microwave absorption material because of the application value. Herein, the core-shell BaFe12O19@MnO2 composite was designed and constructed successfully by a facile hydrothermal method. By introducing nanostructured MnO2, a typical dielectric loss medium, the electromagnetic wave absorption performance is effectively enhanced. The core-shell structure contributes to high interface polarization, thereby promoting the attenuation of electromagnetic waves. In addition, the optimal temperature of the hydrothermal reaction was explored through the characterization of the morphology and the analysis of microwave absorption performance. The result exhibits that the maximum reflection loss of the prepared BaFe12O19@MnO2-170 reaches -54.39 dB and the effective absorbing bandwidth reaches 4.64 GHz. The simple preparation method and attractive performance make BaFe12O19@MnO2 a promising candidate as microwave absorbers.  相似文献

In this study, a lightweight and robust Ti3C2Tx/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) foam (TCF) was fabricated using HCl-induced self-assembly, followed by vacuum freeze-drying. The electrical conductivity and mechanical elasticity of the TCF was higher than those of monolithic Ti3C2Tx foams. This was ascribed to the incorporation of CNTs into Ti3C2Tx preventing the stacking of the Ti3C2Tx nanosheets and producing a well-developed three-dimensional honeycomb-like porous network structure, which considerably improved impedance matching, promoted multiple reflection loss, increased conduction loss and polarisation loss, thus imparting remarkable microwave absorption properties to the TCF. The 1.72 and 1.92 mm thick TCF samples with absorber loadings of 4 wt%, which were obtained by immersing TCF into molten paraffin, followed by cutting it into coaxial rings, presented an optimum reflection loss of ?48.8 dB and a maximum effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 5.44 GHz, respectively. Moreover, upon increasing the thickness of the TCF samples from 1.52 to 4.92 mm, the EAB could be regulated from 4.16 to 18 GHz, respectively. In this study, we developed a facile method for fabricating a lightweight and robust TCF, which met the ‘light, thin, broad, and strong’ criteria and presented a broad EAB and remarkable dissipation capability, for microwave absorption materials.  相似文献

A facile direct precipitation method has been developed for the synthesis of multi-functional magnetic, microwave to heat responsive properties with Fe3O4 nanoparticles as the core and WO3  x as the shell. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images revealed that the obtained bi-functional nanoparticles had a core-shell structure and a spherical morphology. The average size was ~ 250 nm, and the thickness of the shell was ~ 15 nm. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns showed that a cubic spinel structure of Fe3O4 core and the WO3  x shell were obtained. The nanoparticles showed both strong magnetic, and unique microwave to heat responsive properties, which may lead to development of nanoparticles with great potential for applications in drug targeting delivery, controlled release drug, photo- and microwave-thermal combination therapy and water treatment.  相似文献

A carbon-silica nanomaterial for electromagnetic wave (EW) absorption was synthesized using a modified one-pot method. The unique hydrolysis-polymerization process forms a SiO2@SiO2/Carbon@Carbon core-shell structure. The growth process of the material was studied by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Nanoparticles were successfully synthesized with a core-shell structure after 6 h of reaction, and the composite material showed excellent EW absorption performance with a thickness of 3.8 mm. The minimum reflection loss (RLmin) was ?56.3 dB, and the broadest effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) (RL ≤ 10 dB, 90% absorption) covered 5.15 GHz (12.48–17.63 GHz) with 1.8 mm of thickness. There is no significant difference in the EW absorption performance with increasing reaction time. Thus, this study provides a method for synthesizing EW-absorbing materials with shorter reaction time, simpler process, and excellent absorption properties, possibly a candidate for further application.  相似文献

In this work, α-MnO2 nanorods-polyaniline nanocomposites were synthesized using polymer coating and grafting approaches. The synthesized nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, FESEM, EDAX, TEM, TG-DTA and FT-IR techniques. The Electromagnetic properties of prepared samples were measured using vector network analyzer in the 8–18 GHz (X and Ku-Band) frequency region. The α-MnO2-NH2-PANI nanocomposite synthesized by grafting approach showed better electrical conductivity, excellent dielectric loss with superior microwave absorption ability. In comparison with pure MnO2, the microwave absorption characteristics of α-MnO2-NH2-PANI nanocomposite display considerable improvements, with an effective absorption band at 10.8 GHz and 14.5 GHz under ?10 dB and minimum reflection loss (RL) of ?30.79 dB at 14.5 GHz. The α-MnO2-NH2-PANI sample also showed considerable shielding effectiveness (SE) i.e. ?20.85 dB in the 8–18 GHz frequency region. The observed value of RL and SE surpasses the required value for being utilized at a commercial level. These results are surely helpful to explore the microwave absorption study of different combinations of organic/inorganic nanocomposite materials particularly for shielding and microwave absorption applications.  相似文献

In this paper, Co2Si(Co)/SiCN composite ceramics were synthesized by simple precursor-derived ceramics method. The phase composition, morphology, and microwave absorption properties of Co2Si(Co)/SiCN composite ceramics at different pyrolysis temperatures (1000–1400°C) were studied. When pyrolysis temperature was 1300°C, carbon nanowires (CNWs), Co2Si, Si2N2O, SiC and Si3N4 were in situ generated and the best electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption performance was obtained. The minimum reflection loss reached−50.04 dB at 4.81 mm, and the effective absorption bandwidth broadened to 3.48 GHz (14.52–18 GHz) at 1.31 mm. The excellent EMW absorption performance mainly comes from the coexistence of multiple loss mechanisms, including the magnetic loss of Co2Si, the conduction loss of CNWs, and the heterogeneous interfaces polarization between varieties of nanocrystals and amorphous ceramic matrix. By adjusting the sample thickness from 1 to 5 mm, the effective absorption of S1300 can cover the entire X and Ku bands, from 3.36 to 18 GHz. This study provides a simple way to synthesize high performance ceramic-based microwave absorbing materials.  相似文献

The derivatives of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in which various metal and/or metal oxides are uniformly distributed in porous carbon materials have attracted considerable attention owing to their special characteristics such as large specific surface area, adjustable pore structure, highly ordered pores, and uniform metal sites. Presently, the electromagnetic absorption property of MOF derivatives is primarily enhanced by changing their metal ions, and it is still a challenge to improve the loss ability of MOF-derived absorbers by modifying the organic ligands of MOFs. In this work, rhombic Nd2O2S/C nanocomposites with excellent microwave absorption (MA) performance are synthesized via in-situ pyrolysis of (Nd[TDA][CH3COO][H2O])n (H2TDA: 2,5-thiophenedioic acid). The influence of pyrolysis temperature on the MA performance of the composites is examined. The Nd2O2S/C-800 composite exhibits a minimum reflection loss of –52.3 dB at 2.56 mm thickness, which is ascribed to the synergistic effect of multiple loss mechanisms, including polarization, conduction loss, and so forth. Overall, this paper provides a useful method to synthesize high-performance MA materials by utilizing MOFs with rare-earth ions connected by sulfur-containing organic ligand.  相似文献

Intrinsic dielectric properties and tuning conductivity play important roles in microwave absorption. Novel multi-interfaced ZnSnO3@ fine ash (ZSFA) composite was successfully synthesized by coating cube-like ZnSnO3 particles with highly graphitized gasification fine ash. After hydrothermal reaction and Ostwald ripening process, fine ash was tightly wrapped around the assembly of ZnSnO3 particles. Related electromagnetic parameters and dielectric dissipation ability were discussed with different mass additions. Owing to the strong polarization relaxation, special conductive network, and multi-interface structural design, the as-synthesized ZSFA exhibited adjustable dielectric loss behaviors and efficient microwave absorption ability. When 50% mass added, the maximum reflection loss value of the obtained ZSFA-2 is ?47.8 dB at 2.5 mm thickness, showing the enhanced dielectric loss ability. Meanwhile, the widest effective absorption bandwidth (RL ≤ ?10 dB) can cover 7.0 GHz (11.0–18.0 GHz) at a thickness of only 2.2 mm, which included the entire Ku band. This unique pure dielectric composite exhibited high-performance electromagnetic wave attenuation property and broadband frequency response, thereby providing a new approach to the production of a superior microwave absorber.  相似文献

Low‐power plasma‐sprayed Cr/Al2O3 coatings have been developed for their potential application as broad bandwidth, thin thickness, lightweight, and strong microwave‐absorbing materials. The dielectric and microwave absorption properties of the as‐sprayed coatings were studied in the X‐band (from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz). High complex permittivity of the coatings was obtained because of a large number of internal boundaries and the conductive networks. Meanwhile, a significant enhancement of microwave absorption properties of the coating was achieved due to the enhanced interfacial polarization and conductance loss. The reflection loss (RL) <?10 dB of the Al2O3–15Cr coating was obtained from 9.8 to 11.4 GHz by choosing an appropriate coating thickness, and an optimal minimum reflection loss (RLmin) of ?45.35 dB was achieved at 10.3 GHz with a thin thickness of 1.32 mm.  相似文献
