色散管理孤子光波系统的色散图周期由具有正负色散值的两段光纤组成,并且在系统中周期性放置集中放大器及滤波器装置。采用变分法获得了描述此种系统性能的常微分方程组,并利用这组方程数值研究了各种参量对孤子传输性能的影响。研究结果表明,虽然从整体趋势上看,当要求色散管理孤子有较好的稳定性时,应适当降低系统的色散管理强度,但在一定条件下,调整光纤放大器的位置以及正负色散光纤的色散差值,可同时获得相对较大的色散管理强度和好的孤子稳定性;总体来讲,集总放大器的位置会对孤子传输的稳定性、色散管理孤子的能量增强因子、脉冲最佳入射位置以及波分复用系统中的信道间的孤子碰撞致定时抖动等系统性能参量产生较明显的影响,可通过优化放大器的位置使系统的性能得到优化。 相似文献

利用两种方法研究了脉冲形状为高斯型的色散管理孤子系统定时抖动。利用微扰变分方法推导出光通信系统存在滤波器和自发辐射噪声的情况下,孤子参数演化的动力学方程,得出了定时抖动的表达式,并对其进行仿真,发现定时抖动来源于放大器噪声、频率偏移等,啁啾的符号和滤波器对系统总的定时抖动也有一定影响。再利用矩方法对色散管理孤子系统定时抖动进行了分析,两种方法得到的结果一致。 相似文献

The stabilizing action of nonlinear gain on dispersion-managed soliton transmissions is investigated. By means of a proper combination of nonlinear gain and filtering, the background and amplitude instability introduced by lumped guiding filters can be controlled. Indeed, radiative background that may not be separated from the signal when the average dispersion is close to zero is shown to be suppressed. Taking advantage of the large tolerance with respect to input energy variations, dispersion-managed solitons are found to be stable after collisions among different frequencies when supported by the same nonlinear gain element for all channels. This demonstrates the feasibility of nonlinear gain for wavelength-division-multiplexed transmissions and may open up the possibility of high-speed soliton transmission with large tolerance with respect to power fluctuations and densely packed wavelength channels. 相似文献

The range of applicable power enhancement factors in dispersion-managed soliton systems is investigated. For a dispersion compensation period equal to one amplifier span, it is found that the applicable power enhancement factors are not very sensitive to the dispersion perturbation. A power enhancement factor of about 2 is found to be almost optimal. However, the optimal power enhancement factor can be increased by using a compensation period covering several amplifier spans. In this case, the optimal power enhancement factor increases with the increasing dispersion perturbation. 相似文献

The concept of soliton dispersion management pertaining to the effect of varying dispersion with external harmonic oscillator potential for chirped solitons have been studied in detail with emphasis on the various aspects of dispersion management of solitons. The interaction scenarios pertaining to in-phase- and off-phase injection with equal and unequal amplitudes are dealt elaborately. Suppression of interaction forces between the dispersion managed solitons, optical soliton pulse amplification and robustness of bound soliton states to collisions, are some of the main results of this article. 相似文献

We introduce the localized nonlinear waves called solitons which can occur in nature with different profiles such as kink, pulse, and envelope solitons. The envelope-soliton is important because without modulation the wave carry no information. It is a solution of the so-called nonlinear Schrödinger equation which describes the evolution of dispersive and weakly nonlinear waves. The generation of envelope soliton trains can result from the modulational instability phenomenon that leads to self induced modulations, with respect to small perturbations, such as noise, of input plane wave. 相似文献

飞秒激光在工业加工、精密测量、军事国防、科学研究等领域具有广阔的应用前景。报道了基于光谱控制与色散优化的高功率、高脉冲质量飞秒啁啾脉冲放大系统。利用与压缩器色散量相匹配的色散可调啁啾布拉格光纤光栅(CFBG)作为展宽器,通过微调CFBG色散量补偿系统的残余色散使整个系统的净色散趋于零;同时引入光谱滤波等手段,保证入射到主放大器之前的脉冲光谱形状不发生畸变,避免了放大过程中脉冲质量的劣化。最终获得了重复频率为50 MHz、平均功率为24 W、脉冲宽度为198 fs的高脉冲质量飞秒激光输出。 相似文献
