In this paper, the sliding mode observers design techniques for MIMO and as a simple example for SISO systems are systematically advanced as a first purpose. Design parameters are selected such that on the defined switching surface always is generated asymptotically stable sliding mode. Moreover, observer state error dynamics is globally robustly asymptotically stable. Then, advanced design techniques are generalized to the design of a new modification of sliding mode observers for uncertain MIMO systems with time‐delay. Robust sliding and global asymptotic stability conditions are derived by using Lyapunov‐Krasovskii V‐functional method. By these conditions observer parameters are designed such that an asymptotically stable sliding mode always is generated in observer and observer state error dynamics is robustly globally asymptotically stable. The main results are formulated in terms of Lyapunov matrix equations and inequalities. Design example for AV‐8A Harrier VTOL aircraft with simulation results using MATLAB‐Simulink show the effectiveness of proposed design approaches.  相似文献

This paper concerns the stability analysis of systems with interval time‐varying delay. A Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional containing an augmented quadratic term and certain triple integral terms is constructed to integrate features of the truncated Bessel‐Legendre inequality less conservative than Wirtinger inequality that encompasses Jensen inequality, respectively, and to exploit merits of the newly developed double integral inequalities tighter than auxiliary function‐based, Wirtinger, and Jensen double integral inequalities. A new quadratic convex lemma is proposed to derive delay and its derivative dependent sufficient stability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities synthetically with reciprocal convex approach and affine convex combination. The efficiency of the presented method is illustrated on some classical numerical examples.  相似文献

A new approach for the design of robust H observers for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear systems with time‐varying uncertainties is proposed based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The admissible Lipschitz constant of the system and the disturbance attenuation level are maximized simultaneously through convex multiobjective optimization. The resulting H observer guarantees asymptotic stability of the estimation error dynamics and is robust against nonlinear additive uncertainty and time‐varying parametric uncertainties. Explicit norm‐wise and element‐wise bounds on the tolerable nonlinear uncertainty are derived. Also, a new method for the robust output feedback stabilization with H performance for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is proposed. Our solution is based on a noniterative LMI optimization and is less restrictive than the existing solutions. The bounds on the nonlinear uncertainty and multiobjective optimization obtained for the observer are also applicable to the proposed static output feedback stabilizing controller. The objective of this paper is to analyze the stability analysis of neutral-type neural networks with additive time-varying delay and leakage delay. By constructing a suitable augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with triple and four integral terms, some new stability criteria are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is easily solved by various convex optimization techniques. More information of the lower and upper delay bounds of time-varying delays are used to derive the stability criteria, which can lead less conservative results. The obtained conditions are expressed with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) whose feasible can be checked easily by MATLAB LMI control toolbox. Finally, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, the problem of exponential stability criteria for neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays are considered. By dividing the discrete delay interval into multiple segments and choosing a new class of Lyapunov functional which contains tripe-integral terms, some new delay-dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained criteria are less conservative because free-weighting matrices method and a convex optimization approach are considered. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of delay dependent stability and H performance for a class of linear systems with interval time-varying delay. A new model transformation is first proposed by employing a three-terms approximation of delayed state variables, for a better approximation of delayed state. By using scaled small gain theorem and a simple Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, new stability and H performance criteria are proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily solved by using standard numerical packages. Finally, numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The delay-dependent stability problem for systems with time-delay varying in an interval is addressed in this article. The new idea in this article is to connect two very efficient approaches: the discretised Lyapunov functional for systems with pointwise delay and the convex analysis for systems with time-varying delay. The proposed method is able to check the stability interval when the time-varying delay d(t) belongs to an interval [r,?τ]. The case of unstable delayed systems for r?=?0 is also treatable. The resulting criterion, expressed in terms of a convex optimisation problem, outperforms the existing ones in the literature, as illustrated by the numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the issue of robust stability analysis for recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with leakage delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional together with the reciprocally convex approach and the free-weighting matrix technique, some less conservative stability criteria in terms of linear matrix inequalities for RNNs are derived. The new contribution of this paper is that a novel delay-partitioning method is proposed, and some new zero equalities are introduced. Finally, several examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The simulated results reveal that the leakage delay has great influence on the dynamical systems, and it cannot be neglected.

This paper focuses on studying the H state estimation of generalised neural networks with interval time-varying delays. The integral terms in the time derivative of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional are handled by the Jensen’s inequality, reciprocally convex combination approach and a new Wirtinger-based double integral inequality. A delay-dependent criterion is derived under which the estimation error system is globally asymptotically stable with H performance. The proposed conditions are represented by linear matrix inequalities. Optimal H norm bounds are obtained easily by solving convex problems in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The advantage of employing the proposed inequalities is illustrated by numerical examples.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper deals with asymptotic stabilisation of a class of nonlinear input-delayed systems via dynamic output feedback in the presence of disturbances. The proposed strategy has the structure of an observer-based control law, in which the observer estimates and predicts both the plant state and the external disturbance. A nominal delay value is assumed to be known and stability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities are derived for fast-varying delay uncertainties. Asymptotic stability is achieved if the disturbance or the time delay is constant. The controller design problem is also addressed and a numerical example with an unstable system is provided to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, dissipative synchronization problem for the Markovian jump neural networks with time‐varying delay and general transition probabilities is investigated. An event‐triggered communication scheme is introduced to trigger the transmission only when the variation of the sampled vector exceeds a prescribed threshold condition. The transition probabilities of the Markovian jump delayed neural networks are allowed to be known, or uncertain, or unknown. By employing delay system approach, a new model of synchronization error system is proposed. Applying the Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and integral inequality combining with reciprocal convex technique, a delay‐dependent criterion is developed to guarantee the stochastic stability of the errors system and achieve strict (Q,S,R)?α dissipativity. The event‐triggered parameters can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

In this paper, the mean‐square exponential stability and H control problems are investigated for a general class of stochastic time‐delay systems with Markovian jumping parameters. First, a delay‐dependent result in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) for mean‐square exponential stability and H performance analysis is presented by constructing a modified Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional. The decay rate can be chosen in a range to be a finite positive constant without equation constraint. Then, based on the proposed stability result, we derive sufficient condition to solve the H controller design problem. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

Stability conditions for time‐delay systems using the Lyapunov‐based methodologies are generically expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. However, due to assuming restrictive conditions in deriving the linear matrix inequalities, the established stability conditions can be strictly conservative. This paper attempts to relax this problem for linear systems with interval time‐varying delays. A double‐integral inequality is derived inspired by Wirtinger‐based single‐integral inequality. Using the advanced integral inequalities, the reciprocally convex combination techniques and necessary slack variables, together with extracting a condition for the positive definiteness of the Lyapunov functional, novel stability criteria, have been established for the system. The effectiveness of the criteria is evaluated via 2 numerical examples. The results indicate that more complex stability criteria not only improve the stability region but also bring computational expenses.  相似文献
