A Computer Assisted Teaching (CAT) package on Control Engineering is presented. Two important application features of a digital computer—digital simulation and data acquisition—are utilized to illustrate the effectiveness of computers as an engineering problem solving tool and to consolidate concepts taught in the class. An interactive system is described which allows for the graphic construction, simulation, and simultaneous animation of an arbitrary network of queues. A method is proposed and implemented for representing the events of a discrete simulation by a continuous animation on a graphics terminal. Techniques are presented for the display of parallel animation ‘sequences’, and a non-trivial mapping of simulation time into animation time is described which preserves the relation order and time relationships between events. The program implemented combines this animation facility with other simulation monitoring and control features. An interactive dialogue which makes use of the lightpen and a menu of commands is implemented for the construction and modification of the queuing network. Certain relevent aspects of man-machine interaction are discussed. The usefulness of this type of approach is discussed with respect to computer-aided design applications, educational tools, and research tools.  相似文献

该文利用OpenGL图形库在UNIX环境下实现水下航行器导引规律的3D动画显示,论述了图形库数据结构、三维几何造型、计算机图形处理和开发软件,给出了水下航行器3D运动轨迹动画显示的主要源程序及仿真结果,对于复杂物体造型采用简便实用的拓扑点连接法,仿真实验的优良结果表明,水下航行器导引仿真中实现计算呆视化和数据可示化具有很好的直观性和更多的信息量。  相似文献

语音与唇动面部表情的同步是人脸动画的难点之一.综合利用聚类和机器学习的方法学习语音信号和唇动面部表情之间的同步关系,并应用于基于MEPG-4标准的语音驱动人脸动画系统中.在大规模音视频同步数据库的基础上,利用无监督聚类发现了能有效表征人脸运动的基本模式,采用神经网络学习训练,实现了从含韵律的语音特征到人脸运动基本模式的直接映射,不仅回避了语音识别鲁棒性不高的缺陷,同时学习的结果还可以直接驱动人脸网格.最后给出对语音驱动人脸动画系统定量和定性的两种分析评价方法.实验结果表明,基于机器学习的语音驱动人脸动画不仅能有效地解决语音视频同步的难题,增强动画的真实感和逼真性,同时基于MPEG-4的学习结果独立于人脸模型,还可用来驱动各种不同的人脸模型,包括真实视频、2D卡通人物以及3维虚拟人脸.  相似文献

An interactive system, SIMILE, for the construction, manipulation and animation of systems dynamics models is described. The system is intended to be used primarily as an educational tool, to allow users to experiment with and develop systems dynamics models. However, the system also may be used for creating films of these models.

A model is represented pictorially as a graph, where nodes represent components and edges show relations between these components. One is able to graphically create and modify a particular model. In executing or running a model, the graphic configuration is itself animated; this animation may take place at a display terminal, or the system output may be routed to a microfilm plotter to produce a film of the model.

At the terminal, the execution may be speeded up or slowed down; also one may step through the model (with respect to time), or examine the state of the model at any point in the simulation. Plots of the values of selected variables against time may also be obtained. In addition, changes to a model, or in a model's parameters, can be easily made and the effects of these changes can be immediately seen.

A number of short films have been produced by the system. These include a film which illustrates certain aspects of feedback loops and another showing the effect of specific parameters on a model of an influenza epidemic.  相似文献

This system provides an environment within which a scientific researcher—for example, an image processor—can design processes, investigate results, and guide experimental steps.

The SDC system is interactive and natural. The user communicates in mathematical or graphic handwritten notation; he can use standard tools or create his own. For example, the user can draw a graph and have it saved as a function, or he can create functions using mathematical notation.  相似文献

动漫风格的图像具有高度的简化和抽象等特征,为了解决将现实世界图像转化成动漫风格图像这一问题,提出一种基于生成对抗网络的图像动漫化方法。本文的生成网络是类U-Net的全卷积结构,对输入图像先下采样,并加上浅层的特征用双线性插值的方法进行上采样,判别网络则采用Patch GAN加谱归一化的结构,分别计算语义内容损失和风格损失以提高网络的稳定性。本文采用surface表征损失、structure表征损失和texture表征损失代替风格损失,使得生成动漫图像的效果更可控。写实图像选用train2014,人脸图像采用CelebA-HQ数据集。使用本文模型在这些数据集上进行实验,实验结果表明,本文模型能够有效地完成图像动漫化的过程,并生成较高质量的动漫化图像。  相似文献

Performance has a spontaneity and “aliveness” that can be difficult to capture in more methodical animation processes such as keyframing. Access to performance animation has traditionally been limited to either low degree of freedom characters or required expensive hardware. We present a performance-based animation system for humanoid characters that requires no special hardware, relying only on mouse and keyboard input. We deal with the problem of controlling such a high degree of freedom model with low degree of freedom input through the use of correlation maps which employ 2D mouse input to modify a set of expressively relevant character parameters. Control can be continuously varied by rapidly switching between these maps. We present flexible techniques for varying and combining these maps and a simple process for defining them. The tool is highly configurable, presenting suitable defaults for novices and supporting a high degree of customization and control for experts. Animation can be recorded on a single pass, or multiple layers can be used to increase detail. Results from a user study indicate that novices are able to produce reasonable animations within their first hour of using the system. We also show more complicated results for walking and a standing character that gestures and dances.  相似文献
