The hardness and frictional coefficients of two-layer coatings are investigated. The coating life of steel samples is investigated on the basis of its elastoplastic deformation and the microhardness before and after testing on a frictional machine. The two-layer Mo2N + Mo coating considerably outperforms the steel in terms of microhardness. The life is greatest for TiC coatings.  相似文献

在MM—1000制动摩擦磨损试验机上,试验了两种不同组成的Fe-Ni-Co-WC复合涂层并与传统的钢制件作比较。试验结果表明,涂层比钢的耐磨性有较大的提高,WC质量分数高的涂层耐磨性更好。制动时涂层的磨损以磨粒磨损为主,有轻微的氧化和粘着。钢的氧化磨损和粘着比涂层严重。因摩擦热的影响,制动后钢的摩擦表面出现热震开裂和特有的浅层剥落,浅层剥落是一个塑性变形积累、裂纹形成和扩展的过程。但涂层无热震开裂和浅层剥落现象。  相似文献

A series of experiments has been carried out to explain the lower frictional characteristics of carbide tools coated with TiN relative to those coated with TiC. The reason for the higher friction of TiC appears to lie in the tendency for C to diffuse from the TiC coating into the thin layer of steel that transfers to the tool surface, thus strengthening it. No such strengthening mechanism is evident when TiN is the coating.  相似文献

The behavior of frictional hardening and softening of steel 52100 with different microstructures during dry sliding was studied based on dynamic metallographic analysis. It was demonstrated that such frictional behavior significantly affected wear resistance of the steel. The results showed that anti-softening microstructures exhibited a rather better wear resistance; the difference in the wear resistance of various steels with different microstructures was caused by the difference in the energy consumption in surface layers during wear. These results indicate that the original structures and properties of steels should not be taken as the only criterion for judging the wear resistance. It is necessary to consider the influence of dynamic microstructural changes under specific wear conditions in order to evaluate the wear resistance.  相似文献

The effect of the lubrication, antifriction, and rheological characteristics of transmission oil exerted on the wear resistance of a sprayed 30KhGSA steel coating on cast iron under the conditions of a stepwise load increase has been studied. An increase in serviceability with increasing thickness of the coating due to the formation of screening boundary lubricating layers characterized by low shear stress and the stabilization of the specific frictional work in the contact area has been revealed.  相似文献

During a galvannealed sheet metal forming, the failures of coating layers (powdering, flaking and cracking) frequently affect the strain state of sheets and deteriorate the frictional characteristic between sheets and tools. Two FE-models in this study were suggested to investigate the effects of the mechanical behavior of coating layers on the formability and friction of the coated steel sheets in FE analysis; the first is one-layer model to express the coated sheet as one stress-strain curve and the second is a multiple-layer model which is composed of substrates and coating layers, separately. First, the frictional properties and the formability of the coated sheets were experimentally investigated using a cup deep-drawing trial. After, the drawing process was simulated by FE analysis of the two models. In the multiplelayer model, the mechanical behavior of the coating is defined as a stress-strain curve which was determined using the nanoindentation test of the coating, its FE analysis and artificial neural network method. The result showed that the multiple-layer model provides more accuracy predictions of drawing loads than the one-layer model in the FE analysis, compared to the actual cup drawing test.

It is shown that fullerene black interacts with the steel 45 surface and forms a nanocomposite coating including orthorhombic iron carbide Fe3C with crystallites sized 100–150 nm and dispersed spots of fullerene black with particles sized 40–50 nm. Tribotests show the coefficient of friction of the composite coating to be three-four times lower and the wear resistance about two times higher than these parameters for original annealed steel 45. It is proved that in friction, frictional transfer occurs of hard high-disperse wear products of the coating carbide base and fullerene black to the counterbody, which encourages the decrease in the friction of the pair with one of its elements coated with Fe3C-fullerene black. The causes of the improved tribological behavior of the carbide coating are discussed.  相似文献

研究了TiN、TiAlN、TiCN三种高速钢涂层专用麻花钻头钻削加工1Cr18NigTi奥氏体不锈钢时的刀具寿命以及刀具表面涂层的磨损特性。通过研究刀具寿命以及对刀具前刀面涂层磨损形态和元素成分的变化规律,揭示了三种涂层钻头的磨损机理。结果表明:在中低速、湿切削的情况下,TiCN涂层要优于TiAlN涂层,明显优于TiN涂层;TiCN涂层高速钢专用钻头较TiAlN、TiN涂层高速钢专用钻头更加适合不锈钢的钻削加工。研究结果对提高不锈钢钻削加工效率与加工质量具有重要意义。  相似文献

The goal of the study carried out in the laboratory was to quantify the wear and the friction of two materials used for the manufacturing of hip prostheses. Tests used had to obtain in a short time the tribological behaviour laws of the materials. Tests on a hip simulator have been excluded because their cost and their duration were too high for a program of preliminary development of new materials.

To amplify wear phenomena, dry friction tests were carried out for two configurations: ball-on-disc and pin-on-disc. The influence of the contact pressure at constant sliding velocity on the wear of materials has been clearly shown.

Results obtained with several different tested materials (stainless steel/UHMWPE, stainless steel+DLC coating/UHMWPE, stainless steel+DLC coating/stainless steel+DLC coating, titanium alloy+DLC coating/UHMWPE, titanium alloy+DLC coating/titanium alloy+DLC coating, zirconium dioxide/UHMWPE, alumina/UHMWPE, alumina/alumina) have shown the superiority of DLC coatings. Promising results obtained during this study are in the validation stage on a hip simulator.  相似文献

The friction coefficient is an important factor in fretting fatigue. The frictional behavior of quenched and tempered steel 34CrNiMo6 was studied in smooth fretting point contact with measurements at partial and gross slip conditions. The effect of the start-up scheme is studied by altering the way the displacement amplitude is developed to the target value. This only has a minor effect on the maximum friction coefficient but it does alter the frictional behavior. The friction coefficient increases as tangential displacement amplitude is increased and it has a maximum value of 1.5-1.6 at the transition to gross sliding.  相似文献

为研究稀土元素对电沉积TiC陶瓷涂层摩擦学性能的影响,采用自配TiC、Ni、Mo、WC混合粉末压制烧结电极,在45#钢基体上进行放电陶瓷沉积实验,并在HQ-1型摩擦磨损实验机上对不同稀土含量的陶瓷涂层进行了摩擦磨损实验。结果表明:电极中加入适量氧化镧对涂层摩擦学性能有改善作用,稀土氧化镧含量的最佳值为0.5%,此时磨损质量损失较未加稀土时减少了71.4%。当稀土加入量过多时,涂层耐磨性能反而降低,甚至低于不加稀土时的耐磨性能。通过对涂层表面扫描电镜分析(ASEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)分析可知,加适量稀土元素,可改善涂层表层组织结构,减少了表面气孔和开裂的现象发生。  相似文献

Friction and wear behaviors of W–C:H coatings with different tungsten contents sliding against bearing steel balls at different air humidities were investigated. The worn out surfaces of steel balls and coatings were analyzed with the aid of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. A tribolayer composed of a graphite-like material mixed with tungsten and iron oxides was observed on the friction surfaces of the steel balls. The chemical and phase compositions of the tribolayer, which depend both on the tungsten content in coatings and air humidity, determine the tribological properties of the W–C:H coating in a frictional contact with bearing steel. At average air humidity (50%), those coatings that contain less than 10 at% of tungsten in a frictional contact with steel exhibit favorable tribological properties. The friction coefficient of frictional contacts under test reaches a low value (f~0.01) at a low air humidity and increases with humidity of up to ca. 0.2. The best tribological properties in a wide range of air humidity (5–90%) have been found for W–C:H coatings with the tungsten content between 2 and 5 at%.  相似文献

为了改善模具钢表面质量,采用多弧离子镀技术在H13模具钢表面沉积CrAlN薄膜,探讨H13钢基体表面渗氮处理后对薄膜表面形貌、硬度、结合力、抗氧化性和摩擦磨损性能的影响。结果表明:基体表面渗氮处理前后制备的CrAlN涂层表面均匀致密,都有少量的大颗粒,涂层表面均呈CrN(200)面择优取向,而渗氮后制备的涂层CrN(200)面择优取向更强;基体H13钢经过表面渗氮后,硬度显著提高,对制备的涂层具有支撑作用,降低了裂纹产生倾向,提高了涂层产生裂纹的临界载荷,提高了涂层的膜基结合力;相较于基体表面未渗氮处理制备的CrAlN涂层,基体表面渗氮后制备的CrAlN涂层具有更高的硬度和结合力,更为优异的摩擦磨损性能,且抗高温氧化性能显著增强。  相似文献

Three different low friction coatings on steel (electrolytically deposited cadmium, PTFE solid lubricant in epoxy resin and PTFE solid lubricant in polyimide resin) were studied in order to relate their fretting behaviour with mechanical properties. Particular importance was given to adhesion which was measured using a scratch test. Fretting tests were carried out on the steel substrate and on the coatings under the same conditions. The major parameters of the tribological system were identified and then quantified. The values of the parameters obtained for each coating were compared with the corresponding values for uncoated steel. The mechanical characteristics of the coatings and their fretting parameters were plotted using a polar diagram in order to give an overview of the fretting behaviour of each coating. Differences were noted and the corresponding parameters were identified. The influence of the adherence of the coating and of the fretting test load on the lifetime of the coating was determined.  相似文献

研究了热浸镀55%Al-Zn合金镀层钢的室温拉伸性能和耐蚀性能。结果表明:Q235钢板经热浸镀55%Al-Zn合金后的室温屈服强度和抗拉强度均高于Q235钢,而伸长率没有降低。经SEM观察,55%Al-Zn合金镀层钢的拉伸断口由钢基体的韧窝断口和Fe-Al-Zn-Si合金层的穿晶解理断口组成。腐蚀试验结果显示:热浸镀55%Al-Zn合金后钢的耐蚀性在盐雾中是镀锌钢的6倍,在盐水中是镀锌钢的3倍,并同样具有镀锌层对钢基体的电化学保护能力。  相似文献

The frictional behaviour of thin metallic films on silicon substrates sliding against 52100 steel balls is presented. The motivation of this work is to identify an optimum film thickness that will result in low friction under relatively low loads for various metallic films. Dry sliding friction experiments on silicon substrates with soft metallic coatings (silver, copper, tin and zinc) of various thickness (1–2000 nm) were conducted using a reciprocating pin-on-flat type apparatus under a controlled environment. A thermal vapour deposition technique was used to produce pure and smooth coatings. The morphology of the films was examined using an atomic force microscope, a non-contact optical profilometer and a scanning electron microscope. Following the sliding tests, the sliding tracks were examined by various surface characterization techniques and tools. The results indicate that the frictional characteristics of silicon are improved by coating the surface with a thin metallic film, and furthermore, an optimum film thickness can be identified for silver, copper and zinc coatings. In most cases ploughing marks could be found on the film which suggests that plastic deformation of the film is the dominant mode by which frictional energy dissipation occurred. Based on this observation, the frictional behaviour of thin metallic coatings under low loads is discussed and friction coefficients are correlated with an energy based friction model.  相似文献

为测量长距离钢带精密摩擦传动能产生的最大牵引力,设计了中心距可调、牵引力可测的钢带摩擦传动试验台.采用全钢架式底座,具有结构稳固、中心距调整简便的特点;设计电机牵引式张紧装置,能实现钢带的自动张紧功能,对其张紧力和张紧行程进行了分析与计算;带轮结构为轮缘和轮毂的装配式,轮缘加工成腰鼓型,轮缘和轮毂为错开式凸台配合,从而解决了带轮卷边和更换不便的问题;最后设计了检测装置和负载装置,并对它们的安装进行了合理的设计.经装配与试验,表明本设计方案能较好地满足试验要求,从而为相关的摩擦传动试验奠定基础.  相似文献

Results of investigation on cavitation-erosion resistance of Cr–N coating deposited on stainless steel X6CrNiTi18-10 (1H18N9T) by means of the cathodic-arc method are presented. The evaluation of Cr–N coating resistance to cavitation erosion is based on the investigation performed in a cavitation tunnel with a slot cavitator and tap water as a medium. The investigation was performed at variable-cavitation intensity and the estimated cavitation resistance parameters of coatings were the incubation period of damage and the instantaneous erosion rate after exposure of specified duration. It has been confirmed that the incubation period of the Cr–N coating damage is approximately 50% longer than that of the uncoated X6CrNiTi18-10 steel, and the instantaneous erosion rate after exposure of specified duration is comparable in both cases. The scanning microscope analysis indicates that the damage of Cr–N coating is due mainly to its delamination, while the erosion of deeper parts of the coating is of minor importance. The character of the coating and substrate damage in multiple locations indicates that the hard coating microparticles torn-off during the cavitation bubbles implosion hit against the coating and the revealed areas of substrate. As a result, the coating and especially the substrate of relatively low hardness are subject to cavitation erosion and to solid particle erosion with the hard torn-off microparticles of coating. The results of the investigation and the analysis indicate that the factors mainly responsible for a long incubation period and low cavitation erosion rate of the steel substrate/hard coating systems are the gained high hardness of substrate and high level of coating adhesion.  相似文献

为了探讨纳米SiO2(n-SiO2)对火焰喷涂尼龙(PA)1010涂层干摩擦磨损性能的影响,采用MRH-3型环-块摩擦磨损试验机对不同n-SiO2含量的尼龙1010涂层的干摩擦磨损性能进行了测试;并利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对复合涂层的磨损表面进行观察,以探讨n-S iO2对火焰喷涂尼龙1010涂层摩擦磨损性能的影响机制。结果表明:n-SiO2的加入能明显提高尼龙涂层的耐磨性,降低摩擦因数,疲劳磨损、粘附磨损及犁切现象明显减轻;当n-SiO2含量为1.5%(质量分数)时,复合涂层摩擦磨损性能最佳,试验条件下磨损量降低近4倍,摩擦因数降低23%,跑合期降低44%,复合涂层与GCr15钢环对磨时的磨损机制主要为疲劳磨损和轻微的粘附磨损。  相似文献
