A tilt sensor with a compact dimension based on a long-period fiber grating (LPG) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The LPG is fixed in a rigid Plexi-glass tubular with a slant orientation and half of the LPG is immersed into the NaCl aqueous solutions, whereas the other half is exposed in air. The tilt angle is obtained by monitoring the dip wavelength shift of the LPG, which changes gradually when the immersed length of the LPG varies with the tilt angle. Experimental results show that the average sensitivity 0.077 nm/° is achieved within the measurement range from -30° to 30° at the static measurement.  相似文献

The concept of hydrogen enriched LPG fuelled engine can be essentially characterized as low emissions and reduction of backfire for hydrogen engine. The purpose of study is obtaining low-emission and high-efficiency in LPG engine with hydrogen enrichment. In order to determine the ideal compression ratio, a variable compression ratio single cylinder engine was developed. The objective of this paper is to clarify the effects of hydrogen enriched LPG fuelled engine on exhaust emission, thermal efficiency and performance. The compression ratio of 8 was selected to minimize abnormal combustion. To maintain equal heating value, the amount of LPG was decreased, and hydrogen was gradually added. In a similar manner, the relative air-fuel ratio was increased from 0.8 to 1.3 in increment of 0.1, and the ignition timing was controlled to be at MBT each case.  相似文献

Development of alternative fuels has been increasing to replace conventional fuels because of severe environmental pollution from the exhaust emissions of ground vehicles and the depletion of fossil fuels. LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) fuel provides clean energy for gasoline-fueled engines and LPG fuel R&D (Research & development) has actively progressed in reaching the application stage. However, the icing phenomenon in liquid-phase LPG injection systems remains a major problem. The purpose of this study was therefore to investigate the temperature distribution on the icing protection tip and icing formation characteristics under various test conditions (i.e. injection pressure, injection frequency, injection duty). The results showed that increasing the injection frequency induced a big the temperature drop, whereas increasing the injection duty decreased the temperature drop under the same test conditions. Increasing the injection pressure caused a small temperature drop because of an increase in the injection velocity, which meant that much of the injected LPG evaporated at a region distant from the nozzle tip. The protection tip with a double-hollow structure had a smaller the temperature drop than the all-in-one type protection tip made of the same material (copper).

未经掺杂的金属氧化物半导体气敏传感器通常灵敏度很高,但选择性较差。为提高选择性和一致性,设计了一种特殊结构的低功耗SnO2烧结气敏元件的制备方法,测试了SnO2烧结气敏元件的气敏特性。制备的SnO2烧结气敏元件在40mW的加热功率条件下,100ppm的CO气氛中灵敏度达到3,响应时间仅为4s;在180mW的加热功率条件下,对氢和碳氢化合物(如CH4和LPG)敏感。这类低功耗烧结气敏元件选择性和一致性好,有望用于室内煤气泄漏检测等场合。  相似文献

A fiber loop mirror (FLM) temperature sensor using a long-period grating (LPG) written in a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) and a band-pass filter as a demodulator is proposed. By utilizing the stable filtering function of the LPG in the PCF, the resonant wavelength variation of the FLM with temperature is transferred effectively to the intensity variation of the output light. By monitoring the light intensity of the band-pass of the filter, temperature applied on the FLM is deduced by an optical power meter. Experiment results show that the temperature sensitivity is high as ~1.742 dB/ °C when a filter with a full width at half maximum 3 nm and the center at 1545 nm is used.  相似文献

As an alternative fuel that can be used in SI engines, LPG is a clean fuel with larger H/C ratio compared to gasoline, low CO2 emission, and small amount of pollutants such as sulfur compounds. In the Spark-ignition (SI) engine, Direct injection (DI) technology can significantly increase the engine volumetric efficiency and decrease the need for a throttle valve. DI allows engine operation with the stratified charge, which enables a relatively higher combustion efficiency. Stratified charge can be supplied to nearby spark plugs to allow for overall lean combustion, which improves thermal efficiency and can cope with problems regarding emission regulations. In this study, a visualization experiment system that consists of visualization combustion chamber, air supply control system, emission control system, LPG fuel supply system, electronic control system and image data acquisition system was designed and manufactured. For all cases for which ignition was successful, flame propagation image was digitally recorded using ICCD camera, and the recorded flame propagation characteristics were examined. This study, in its results, is expected to make a contribution in terms of important data for the design and optimization of a Spark-ignited direct injection (SIDI) LPG engine.
