Automatic vehicle identification (AVI) technology, which permits fully automatic and unique identification of vehicles at specific interrogation points, offers potential benefits in many fields including fleet control, revenue collection, traffic operations, transportation planning, and safety and law enforcement. Three technologies are currently being used for AVI: optical, microwave, and low power radio frequency. All of the three technologies are currently being used in either operating systems or extensive field testing under operating conditions. The first large scale application of AVI was in the railroad industry to identify automatically rolling stock. The optical AVI techniques used have also been applied in automatic container identification and, in a limited scope application, in the operation of an automatic toll collection system. Microwave AVI techniques have been tested successfully in containerization applications and are currently under test by a major toll road in revenue collection application. Low power radio frequency AVI was tested extensively in the federally-sponsored Automatic Bus Identification Project and is being evaluated for nonstop toll collection application by toll agencies. While the cost effectiveness of AVI will vary to a considerable extent with the technology used and the desired functional requirements, existing AVI technology can provide automatic unique identification of vehicles at a cost which can be justified in many applications. As these applications are being developed, the rapid advances in computer and electronic technology which are inherent in AVI systems, will further reduce initial and operating costs of contemplated AVI systems. 相似文献

Identifying compromised accounts on online social networks that are used for phishing attacks or sending spam messages is still one of the most challenging problems of cyber security. In this research, the authors explore an artificial neural network‐based language model to differentiate the writing styles of different users on short text messages. In doing so, the aim is to be able to identify compromised user accounts. The results obtained indicate that one can learn the language model on one dataset and can generalize it to different datasets to identify users with high accuracy and low false alarm rates without any modification to the language model. 相似文献

A system for identifying moving objects such as vehicles, trucks, buses, containers, etc., in which a passive label having a number of dipoles in accordance with a code is attached to the object, is described. A synthetic aperture radar consisting of a Gunn diode mounted within a resonant cavity and connected to a horn is used to illuminate the label. The Gunn diode operates as a homodyne so that signals from the label are also detected by the diode as a number of overlapping chirp signals, which are sent to a computer for processing. The computer output is a pulse train with pulses corresponding to dipoles in the label. A number of tests have been made indicating that labels can be read regardless of range and vehicle speed. A number of horns may be strategically located in a city or along a highway, and these horns can be multiplexed into a common computer to provide an inexpensive all weather automatic vehicle identification system. 相似文献

为了满足船舶自动识别系统抗干扰性能的要求,设计了一种机载阵列天线.天线阵列由5个单极子天线单元组成,整体尺寸为Φ720 mm×306 mm,天线单元沿圆周均匀排列.通过泰勒分布和牛顿优化算法,优化阵列的辐射幅度及相位,得到实测的方位面增益-15 dB抑制范围达到128°,-20 dB抑制范围达到77°;装机后-15 dB抑制范围在114°以上,-20 dB抑制范围在51°以上.该阵列天线结构简单,成本低,满足机载环境的使用要求. 相似文献
