跟踪与数据中继卫星系统(tracking and data relay satellite system,TDRSS)中,通道间群时延失真是影响TDRSS地面数字多波束形成性能的一个重要因素.首先介绍了群时延的概念和表达式,以及TDRSS信道的群时延失真数学模型,然后根据最小相位系统的系数和复倒谱系数之间的关系,设计了满足仿真要求的线性群时延滤波器,在MATLAB/SIMULINK仿真软件包中建立了多路群时延失真信道模型,针对QPSK信号在多路群时延失真信道特性下的误码性能进行仿真和分析.仿真结果表明,当最大群时延失真分布情况相同时,通道数对TDRSS误码率性能的影响并不显著. 相似文献

Space-borne imaging sensors onboard remote sensing satellites capture images of specific interest to the mission. These images contain tremendous volumes of data. Storage capacity onboard the satellite is limited and downlink channels have limited bandwidth capacity. Moreover, most remote sensing satellites are visible to their ground stations for only short periods of time during the day. Therefore, there is significant delay between image capture and terrestrial analysis. Hence, onboard image compression is essential to deliver captured data to the ground in a timely fashion. Smart and efficient onboard image compression using reconfigurable computing technology such as field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) represents a unique solution that significantly increases the mission effectiveness. The High Performance Computing (HPC-I) payload on the Australian scientific mission satellite FedSat is a demonstration of reconfigurable computing technology in space for a variety of applications including image compression. In this paper, we present the design and implementation on HPC-I of the Satellite Adaptive Image Compression System (SAICS) for space missions. The system concept is based on an FPGA implementation of the adaptive JPEG-LS algorithm. The SAICS is a low complexity, high speed adaptive compression system that uses lossless and near lossless techniques depending on local image statistics. Performance evaluation indicates that satisfactory compression results can only be achieved through a careful trade-off between design complexity and efficiency. 相似文献

随着第三代(3G)手持电子产品的发展,极大地拓宽了实时图形学的应用领域,而纹理映射是提高图形真实感最为有效的方法。电子技术的发展,为硬件加速芯片的设计提供了更多的选择。设计了基于FPGA的纹理映射电路,采用MIPmapping纹理映射算法,电路由纹理映射地址计算、三线性滤波和纹理存储器三部分组成。综合结果表明,对于24bits像素的绘制速度可达到41.145Mpixels/s和329.16Mtexels/s。 相似文献

In this paper, the development and implementation processes of a quality management system (QMS) for design consultants in the Middle East are presented. The current design practices are first reviewed through the conduct of multiple interviews. The development of the QMS for designing residential and commercial buildings is also based on quality standards from the literature. The practical implementation of the model is conducted using actual design projects in a real design environment. The model implementation consists of three stages, the first stage is awareness; the second stage is benchmarking of existing practice, which is carried out on 20 projects; and finally, the validation of the model is verified using data from 11 projects. The benchmarking of existing performance and the validation of the model are carried out utilizing statistical approaches. The implementation of the QMS model improves the efficiency of the designs and the production process distributions. 相似文献

This paper presents the design and implementation of a version and configuration model (VCM) for structural design objects. The VCM is developed to capture the incremental, evolutionary, multipath and iterative nature of the structural design process. Specifically, this model: (1) defines representational frameworks for representing the versions and configurations of design objects; (2) suggests sets of manipulation operations for creating and tracking the versions and configurations of design objects across the different representational frameworks; and (3) presents a prototype implementation scheme of a version manager, that is based on the representational frameworks and the manipulation operations of the proposed VCM. A case study of reinforced concrete T-beam is presented together with its prototype implementation using Object Pascal as a proof of concept. This is to describe the elements of the model, validate its effectiveness and demonstrate its viability. It is concluded that the VCM and its implementation is a valuable and necessary ingredient for developing a truly integrated structural engineering design system. 相似文献
