This paper reports a review of the extensions and application of the Cell Transmission Model (CTM). Those extensions are models able to simulate complex urban traffic dynamics with all the advantages of macroscopic and microscopic urban traffic model. Over the past few years researchers have been trying to increase the level of detail by extending CTM and introducing new formulations to improve the application of the model in urban traffic. The authors classified the papers while taking into consideration all those factors characterizing the urban traffic, arterial and intersection traffic flow in particular. One of the primary goals of transport research is to develop a general framework of urban traffic networks that might be applied from a realistic point of view. Recent studies about traffic simulations have shown that, among various macroscopic simulation models, the CTM has the potential to achieve this objective. We have also reported our model the CTM_UT that improves the CTM for Urban Traffic. We believe that it is possible to apply this model to ITS application, hence increase the accuracy of the macroscopic model while maintaining the computational advantages and provide an accurate prediction of travel time approach.  相似文献

This study presents a new approach to generate the transformation matrix for Arnold’s Cat Map (ACM). Matrices of standard and modified ACM are well known by many users. Since the structure of the possible matrices is known, one can easily select one of them and use it to recover the image with several trials. However, the proposed method generates a larger set of transform matrices. Thus, one will have difficulty in estimating the transform matrix used for scrambling. There is no fixed structure for our matrix as in standard or modified ACM, making it much harder for the transform matrix to be discovered. It is possible to use different type, order and number of operations to generate the transform matrix. The quality of the shuffling process and the strength against brute-force attacks of the proposed method is tested on several benchmark images.

We consider an extension of Cook’s distance for generalized linear mixed models with the objective of identifying observations with high influence in the predicted conditional means of the response variable. The proposed distance can be decomposed into factors that help to distinguish between influence on the estimation of fixed effects and on the prediction of random effects. Joint and conditional influence are also considered. A first-order approximation is proposed for more efficient computation and a Monte Carlo simulation is considered to evaluate the efficacy of the proposal. An application to a dataset obtained from the literature is presented to show how such tools can be used in practice.  相似文献

With developments in science and technology, product innovation is the key to enterprise performance in the competitive market. In consumer demand-oriented modern product design, effectively combining product design with the esthetic perceptions and preferences of consumers is a problem that urgently needs to be addressed. However, the traditional design method is completely dominated by designers without user participation. The purpose of this study was to give designers an impetus for restructuring and upgrading a design. A gene network design model was developed with the advantages of a gene network and neural network. This allowed the target elements of a product design to be obtained using a nonlinear network. Finally, a case study was used to show the detailed procedure of the design model. To reveal the advantages of the proposed model, it was compared with other methods such as a gene-based design method, an emotional design method, and a fuzzy Kano design method. The results showed that the proposed model was more efficient and scientific, and provided consumers with a multidimensional evaluation system to determine the optimal design schemes.  相似文献

In this work, we study the parallel-in-time iterative solution of coupled flow and geomechanics in porous media, modelled by a two-field formulation of Biot’s equations. In particular, we propose a new version of the fixed-stress splitting method, which has been widely used as solution method of these problems. This new approach forgets about the sequential nature of the temporal variable and considers the time direction as a further direction for parallelization. The method is partially parallel-in-time. We present a rigorous convergence analysis of the method and numerical experiments to demonstrate the robust behaviour of the algorithm.  相似文献

The China stock market is proved to be a chaotic system, a nonlinear dynamical model is established based on the study of the nonlinear dynamical properties of Shanghai stock, composite index sequence by using chaos and fractal theory. The phase space of the stock sequence is reconstructed and the correlation dimension is analyzed, which indicates that the dynamical system has finite degree of freedom. The nonlinear evolution mechanism is observed and the initial value sensitive characteristic of the system is demonstrated through Lyapunov exponent analysis. Finally, the stock sequence is reconstructed by using finite degree of freedom based fractal interpolation algorithm and gaining reasonably accurate replications. The experimental results indicate that the nonlinear dynamical model is more effective to describe the China stock market than the conventional "random walk" theory based stochastic models.  相似文献

This study investigates the associations between enterprise social media (ESM) use, psychological conditions, and cyber-slacking in the workplace and examines the mediating role of psychological conditions between ESM use and cyber-slacking. The study utilizes Kahn’s framework to develop a research model and investigate various associations, and it employs a cross-sectional design, testing the developed research model with 277 ESM users from Chinese enterprises. The study results suggest that ESM use stimulates various psychological conditions that discourage cyber-slacking behaviors and significantly mediate the associations between ESM use and cyber-slacking.  相似文献

Online peer-to-peer (P2P) lending is a new but essential financing method for small and micro enterprises that is conducted on the Internet and excludes the involvement of collateral and financial institutions. To tackle the inherent risk of this new financing method, trust must be cultivated. Based on trust theories, the present study develops an integrated trust model specifically for the online P2P lending context, to better understand the critical factors that drive lenders’ trust. The model is empirically tested using surveyed data from 785 online lenders of PPDai, the first and largest online P2P platform in China. The results show that both trust in borrowers and trust in intermediaries are significant factors influencing lenders’ lending intention. However, trust in borrowers is more critical, and not only directly nurtures lenders’ lending intention more efficiently than trust in intermediaries, but also carries the impact of trust in intermediaries on lenders’ lending intention. To develop lenders’ trust, borrowers should provide high-quality information for their loan requests and intermediaries should provide high-quality services and sufficient security protection. The findings provide valuable insights for both borrowers and intermediaries.  相似文献

An efficient and simple encryption and compression scheme for digital image is reported in this paper. This scheme is based on the algorithm of the generalized knight’s tour, discrete cosine transform and non-linear chaotic maps. In this scheme, according to the structure of compression, confusion and diffusion are attained by methods of the generalized knight’s tour and chaotic maps. Firstly, the generalized knight’s tour algorithm is utilized to scramble the pixels while the data correlation preserved. Then, the chaotic system is used to generate a pseudorandom permutation to encrypt the part of coefficients from discrete cosine transform for diffusion. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme can gain robust security and a high compression ratio, which indicates that the proposed scheme is practicable.

In order to provide integrity protection for the secure operating system to satisfy the structured protection class' requirements, a DTE technique based integrity protection formalization model is proposed after the implications and structures of the integrity policy have been analyzed in detail. This model consists of some basic rules for configuring DTE and a state transition model, which are used to instruct how the domains and types are set, and how security invariants obtained from initial configuration are maintained in the process of system transition respectively. In this model, ten invariants are introduced, especially, some new invariants dealing with information flow are proposed, and their relations with corresponding invariants described in literatures are also discussed. The thirteen transition rules with well-formed atomicity are presented in a well-operational manner. The basic security theorems correspond to these invariants and transition rules are proved. The rationalities for proposing the invariants are further annotated via analyzing the differences between this model and ones described in literatures. At last but not least, future works are prospected, especially, it is pointed out that it is possible to use this model to analyze SE-Linux security.  相似文献

In early 2000,large domestic shipyards introduced shipbuilding 3D computer-aided design (CAD) to the hull production design process to define manufacturing and assembly information.The production design process accounts for most of the man-hours (M/H) of the entire design process and is closely connected to yard production because designs must take into account the production schedule of the shipyard,the current state of the dock needed to mount the ship’s block,and supply information.Therefore,many shipyards are investigating the complete automation of the production design process to reduce the M/H for designers.However,these problems are still currently unresolved,and a clear direction is needed for research on the automatic design base of manufacturing rules,batches reflecting changed building specifications,batch updates of boundary information for hull members,and management of the hull model change history to automate the production design process.In this study,a process was developed to aid production design engineers in designing a new ship’s hull block model from that of a similar ship previously built,based on AVEVA Marine.An automation system that uses the similar ship’s hull block model is proposed to reduce M/H and human errors by the production design engineer.First,scheme files holding important information were constructed in a database to automatically update hull block model modifications.Second,for batch updates,the database’s table,including building specifications and the referential integrity of a relational database were compared.In particular,this study focused on reflecting the frequent modification of building specifications and regeneration of boundary information of the adjacent panel due to changes in a specific panel.Third,the rollback function is proposed in which the database (DB) is used to return to the previously designed panels.  相似文献

Speech signal processing and its recognition system have gained a lot of attention from last few years due to its widespread application. In this paper, a novel approach is proposed for diagnosis and monitoring the Parkinson’s Disease (PD) which is the second most severe neurological disease in the world. PD is a neurodegenerative disease which impairs person’s balance, motor skills, speech, and other characteristics such as decision making process, emotions, and sensation. Here, we proposed a cloud based framework for detecting and monitoring Parkinson patients that will enable healthcare service in low resource setting. In the developing countries, where most of the people do not get proper healthcare services and are not well aware of Parkinson’s disease, let alone detecting and getting healthcare for PD, this system can be very practical and useful. For this system, the patients of rural areas, patients from the regions where doctors are not available, can communicate to the doctors only if they have internet connections in their smart phones to access the cloud. Doctors can check and detect patient’s PD by checking their voice disorders or Dysphonia over cloud. With this system, a PD patient can be easily detected and diagnosed by giving their voice samples through their phones, regardless of their location. Based on the evaluation, our proposed systems are avail to achieve 96.6% accuracy in the cloud environment for detecting PD. It is expected that the proposed framework will have great potential to enable healthcare service for PD patients, who live in remote areas, especially in developing countries.  相似文献

The research proposes a hybrid knowledge-sharing model, which integrates the concepts of the self-organizing feature map optimization, fuzzy logic control, and hyper-rectangular composite neural networks, to provide 32 rules that suggest performing or not performing foreign construction investment. The database is derived from 520 quarterly financial reports of all listed construction companies in Taiwan that have now or in the past five years made foreign investment in China’s construction industry. The input variables are set to all 25 financial ratios assessable in public, reducing to 11 ratios after feature deduction using t-test. The model yields a high successful classification rate of 90.6% and generates 14 and 18 rules for Taiwan construction companies performing or not performing foreign investment in China, respectively. The valuable rules give user a closer look at what is the appropriate corporate financial status, what knowledge can be shared from the interpretations of the rules, and the impact by investment on corporate finance.  相似文献
