This paper deals with the assessment of digital integrated circuit (IC) electromagnetic emission (EME), and concentrates on the specific aspect of EME of long external wiring, driven by IC input-output pins. In particular, the contribution of single IC pins is investigated by analyzing the structure composed of an IC output driver connected via a microstrip line to a receiver. A transmission-line model is used, and an approach based on the concept of radiated power is applied to the characterization of single-pin IC EME in terms of external-wiring radiation effects. By the analysis of typical driver-wiring configurations, it is shown that the spectrum of the driver output current is the quantity of interest, and that the use of wiring with smaller characteristic impedance leads to larger radiated power. The use of a specific test setup (IEC 61967-4-150-Ω direct coupling method) for the experimental assessment of single pin IC emissions is also considered. Frequency-dependent setup effects are experimentally ascertained via a scattering parameter characterization, and definition of suitable circuit functions. An estimate of the degree of correlation between voltage measurements foreseen by the test procedure and the total power radiated by the loading network of an IC driver is derived 相似文献

衍射效率高、偏振相关损耗低的衍射光栅是集成波分复用/解复用器件的一种核心元件,在光通信中具有很重要的应用价值,而一般面形的光栅很难达到此要求,为此需要在光栅衍射效率计算的基础上,利用遗传算法对光栅面形进行优化。采用二次函数来描述光栅面形,选取一定的原始样本,利用耦合波方法计算光栅的衍射效率;然后采用遗传算法中的各种算子对样本进行变换,计算变换后光栅面形的衍射效率,选择其中接近所确定条件的样本进行保留;再继续下一次变换和选择,直到满足设定的要求。通过优化最后得到衍射效率高、偏辗相关损耗小的光栅面形,这些面形的光栅衍射效率达到90%以上,而相应的偏振相关损耗小于0.1dB,已经达到光通信中的相应要求。在光栅面形设计中采用了遗传算法进行光栅面形优化为有特定要求光栅的制作提供了理论指导,可以节省一定的人力和渤力、 相似文献

In this paper, a novel digital predistorter design based on the Hammerstein structure is proposed in order to linearize radio frequency power amplifiers. A genetic algorithm optimization method has been proposed to accurately identify the coefficients of a Wiener model for the power amplifier. Digital predistorter design based on the proposed Hammerstein model has been carried out according to the accurate Wiener model. The validation of the suggested model is carried out using the simulation of the power amplifier and the digital predistortion excited by 64QAM signals in the advanced design system software. According to the simulation results, the criterion of an adjacent channel power ratio decreased by about 16 dB. The simulation results show the adjacent channel power ratio of almost ??46 dBc. In order to assess the feasibility of the proposed predistorter, it is completely implemented in the Kintex FPGA using Vivado HLS. This proposed model enables a more accurate modeling of nonlinear distortion and memory effects compared to the previous linearization methods. A hybrid Taguchi genetic algorithm (HTGA) is applied in this paper to solve the problem of designing optimal digital infinite-impulse response (IIR) filters. The HTGA approach is a method of combining the traditional GA (TGA), which has a powerful global exploration capability, with the Taguchi method, which can exploit the optimum offspring. The Taguchi method is inserted between crossover and mutation operations of a TGA. Based on minimizing the L/sub p/-norm approximation error and minimizing the ripple magnitudes of both passband and stopband, a multicriterion combination is employed as the design criterion to obtain the optimal IIR filter that can fit different performance requirements. The proposed HTGA approach is effectively applied to solve the multiparameter and multicriterion optimization problems of designing the digital low-pass (LP), high-pass (HP), bandpass (BP), and bandstop (BS) filters. In these studied problems, there are many parameters and numerous local optima so that these studied problems are challenging enough for evaluating the performances of any proposed GA-based approaches. The computational experiments show that the proposed HTGA approach can obtain better digital IIR filters than the existing GA-based method reported recently in the literature. 相似文献

在研究遗传算法的基础上,分析了传统遗传算法种群多样性、收敛效率降低和易求得局部最优解的问题,提出自适应遗传算法优化设计电力变压器。采用适应度值标定的遗传算法改进策略,防止特殊个体统治种群导致的寻优结果是局部最优解,在算法临近结束时,变更选择压力,防止算法在最优解附近摇摆,加快了寻优过程。仿真结果表明,改进后的遗传算法收敛速度快,并以S9-315/10型电力变压器为算例,优化方案的性能指标符合相关国标,总损耗降低0.8%,材料成本降低8.3%。 相似文献

Several physical phenomena in highly scaled CMOS technology have now become first-order elements affecting the electrical behavior of transistor characteristics. Effects such as STI mechanical stress, direct tunneling in gate dielectrics, gate line-edge roughness, and others can have significant influence on device characteristics. This paper elaborates on these effects to exemplify the need for closer interaction between circuit design and process development teams in order to push out application-dependent scaling limits.
