以空气为工质,在流量为33 m~3·h~(-1)下,对手套箱进行数值模拟,获得手套箱内流体流场分布;并进一步设计手套箱实验装置,应用PIV进行实验测试,以考量数值模拟计算的正确性与可靠性。结果表明,二者速度矢量方向一致,并在测试区域内随机取3个位置的数值计算速度值与实验速度值进行比较,最大误差18.14%,说明数值计算结果是可靠的,可为手套箱的优化设计提供依据。  相似文献

Programmatic operations at the Los Alamos National Laboratory Plutonium Facility (TA-55) involve working with plutonium and other highly toxic, alpha-emitting materials. The spread of radiological contamination on surfaces, airborne contamination, and excursions of contaminants into the operator's breathing zone are prevented using gloveboxes. The TA-55 Glovebox Safety Program augments this passive safety feature. A key element of this program is to perform microscopic analyses of glovebox glove failures and breaches when their causes are unknown. Initial examinations provide little information about the causes of failures and breaches. This has prompted the development of an instrument that permits cross-sections of glove perforations to be studied. This paper discusses the methodology used to perform microscopic analysis of failures and breaches. It presents three case studies in which microscopic analyses have helped to determine the causes of the glove openings.  相似文献

通过在乳液聚氯乙烯(PVC)中添加有机蒙脱土(OMMT)来研究OMMT对其各项性能的影响。结果表明:OMMT对乳液PVC/邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)/OMMT纳米复合材料的力学性能有一定的改善效果;对复合材料的抗增塑剂迁移效果明显;在耐酸和耐碱试验中,未添加OMMT的复合材料的拉伸强度和撕裂强度分别降低了7.3%、5.i%和5.5%、13.3%,而添加3份OMMT后,仅仅降低了2.5%、2.6%和1.5%、4.2%,效果显著。  相似文献

研究了弱酸涂层的性能及其对弱酸涂层乳胶手套的影响效果,探讨了弱酸与乳胶手套的结合机理、弱酸在手套表层的均匀分布及其存在形式。结果表明,弱酸涂层在手套表面扩散、吸附、黏结,弱酸与乳胶以机械嵌合形式或扩散吸附形式相结合。羧甲基纤维素/羟乙基纤维素黏合剂和聚环氧乙烷衍生物添加剂对弱酸在乳胶手套表面的黏结和分散有良好的作用。  相似文献

Extrapolation from permeation data for pure solvents does not predict accurately their behavior in mixtures. In this study we examined whether the permeation of natural rubber, nitrile, and PVA glove materials by solvent mixtures is proportional to material swelling. Gloves were exposed to solvent mixtures and their permeation was monitored: breakthrough times, permeation rates, and degree of swelling were determined. Toluene exhibits higher permeation than MEK through natural rubber. Adding MEK to toluene decreased the permeation of toluene and increased that of MEK, proportionally to mixture composition and the degree of swelling. The opposite was observed for nitrile: toluene, now the “low permeation” solvent (LPS), retarded MEK permeation and vice versa. The effect was proportional to mixture composition but not consistently proportional to the degree of swelling. Samples were also exposed to the LPS for different time periods prior to a permeation run using the “high permeation” solvent (HPS). The decrease in breakthrough time of the HPS was proportional to the degree of swelling caused by the LPS. Material swelling appears to control MEK and toluene permeation through natural rubber. For nitrile, additional factors are apparently at work. No permeation was detected through PVA and material swelling was negligible. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 研究以改性聚烯烃和改性水基聚氨酯为主体材料的新型复合润滑涂层的制备及影响因素。改性聚烯烃和改性水基聚氨酯的质量分数均为0.04,浸渍时间为15s,干燥温度为112℃,手套的光滑性能最佳,滑爽级别达到5级。以此条件制备的手套物理性能达到ASTM D 3578-2001标准,残余粉质量分数符合ASTM D 6124-2001标准要求。  相似文献

A ruthenium metathesis catalyst Ru1 bearing a cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene (CAAC) ligand is used in the ethenolysis reaction of biosourced 90% pure undistilled ethyl oleate or technical fatty acid methyl esters mixture with grade 3 ethylene, to yield 1‐decene and valuable terminal unsaturated 9‐decenoic acid ester. Under optimized conditions (25 ppm of catalyst Ru1 , 20 bar, 50 °C, 2 h, use of metal scavenger/quenching agent, SnatchCat), the title reaction proceeds with high productivity (up to 70% conversion) and selectivity, and is tested in scale up to 1 L, with the exclusion of a glovebox or Schlenk techniques usage, and the ethenolysis products are isolated by fractional distillation. In addition, a large‐scale synthesis of Ru1 is presented. Practical Applications: Decreasing availability of fossil organic feedstock and current policies of the European Union drives scientists to look for alternative sustainable sources of fine chemicals. In this context, olefin metathesis based ethenolysis of transesterified seed oils studied herein shows a significant potential as a sustainable way to obtain valuable products, such as 1‐decene and valuable terminal unsaturated 9‐decenoic acid ester. Unlike other published studies on ethenolysis, in the present work, the focus is on optimizing this reaction under industrially practical conditions, thus utilizing an air‐stable catalyst, technical grade oleic substrates, grade 3 ethylene, and excluding the use of a glovebox or Schlenk techniques.  相似文献

A model based on a combination of the solubility parameters of Hansen and the polymer solution theory of Flory–Rehner was used to predict the solubility and permeation properties of organic solvents in Viton polymeric glove material. To test the validity of the model, weight gain data were collected for 32 organic solvents versus Viton. Samples were exposed for periods of 2 to 12 weeks until each glove sample had achieved a stable, equilibrium weight. Using a nonlinear least‐squares regression, the three‐dimensional solubility parameter was determined for Viton to be as follows: dispersion = 15.38, polar = 10.49, and hydrogen bonding = 2.47. Breakthrough times, lag times, and steady‐state permeation rates for the solvents verses Viton were also determined and combined with results obtained from the literature.
