Optimum weighting of adaptive antenna arrays is accomplished by computing the weight vector that maximizes the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). The optimal weight vector is in general complex with each weight having different magnitudes and phases. However, the design of some antenna arrays facilitates phase-only weighting or phase-only adjustments, whereupon it is desirable to compute the constrained optimal weight vector whose components have fixed magnitudes but variable phases. This constrained optimization problem may be posed as the problem of maximizing the SINR on the space of phase-only vectors. This paper addresses the problem of computing optimal phase-only adaptive weight vectors by exploiting several properties of phasor and matrix algebra. Two new algorithms (the phase-only conjugate gradient and phase-only Newton's method) are introduced. The convergence properties. The authors explore two ideas for effectively achieving channel equalization within the framework of a narrowband sidelobe canceler. The first approach relies primarily on digital equalization to enhance conventional sample matrix inversion (SMI) performance, whereas the second utilizes feedback to extend the SMI method into the realm of analog adaptive cancellation. An experimental four-channel receiver that supports open-loop and closed-loop operation is described. As implemented, three different canceler modes are possible: feedforward, feedback, and a tandem feedback/feedforward combination. All three modes have been successfully demonstrated in bench experiments with a broadband noise source using the SMI algorithm. 为有效提高雷达天线抑制强烈地海杂波的要求,文中提出了一种改进的粒子群算法,可以很好的实现阵列天线仅相位加权不对称波束赋形。该算法通过引入自适应收缩因子和适应度函数加权因子,并在非优胜粒子位置更新时引入混沌扰动,避免搜索过程陷入局部最优。计算结果表明,与普通粒子群算法相比有效提高了全局搜索能力和收敛速度,大量减少了迭代次数,在方向图综合中有着非常好的实际工程应用性。 相似文献

A genetic algorithm with adaptive search space (GAASS) is proposed and applied to identify the hysteresis model parameters of an electromechanical-valve actuator installed on a pneumatic system. According to the normalized fitness distance in each generation, the proposed GAASS method consistently identifies the best search domains in the parameter space and adjusts the crossover and mutation rates in order to achieve fast convergence and high accuracy. Experiments have been conducted to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed hysteresis identification approach. A partial phase-only nulling (PPON) algorithm has been developed and evaluated on a 496-element monopulse phased array antenna system which employs five-bit phase shifters. Using this PPON algorithm allows nulls in the far-field pattern to be steered to the desired directions for a phased array equipped with low-resolution phase shifters to perform simultaneous nulling in the sum and two difference patterns in the environment of multiple jammers. To correct the phase aberrations in a wave-front, a wavefront sensorless adaptive optical (AO) system is set up. A real-number encoding Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm (GA) that is adopted to control a 61-element deformable mirror (DM) is presented. This GA uses the light intensity behind a pinhole on the focal plane as the objective function to optimize, and therefore to omit the procedure of measuring the phase aberrations in the laser wavefront by a wavefront sensor. Phase aberrations generated by the DM are brought to an ideal incident wavefront. Several correction simulations have been accomplished. The simulation results show that the genetic algorithm is capable of finding the optimum DM shape to correct the phase aberrations. After the phase aberrations of the wavefront have been corrected by GA, the peak light intensity on the focal plane can be improved at most by a factor of 30, and the encircled energy Strehl ratio can be increased ultimately to 0.96 from 0.032. It is also found that the convergence and stability of the 61 voltages on the DM is quite well. The simulation results prove that the genetic algorithm can be used in AO systems effectively. 相似文献

在研究遗传算法的基础上,分析了传统遗传算法种群多样性、收敛效率降低和易求得局部最优解的问题,提出自适应遗传算法优化设计电力变压器。采用适应度值标定的遗传算法改进策略,防止特殊个体统治种群导致的寻优结果是局部最优解,在算法临近结束时,变更选择压力,防止算法在最优解附近摇摆,加快了寻优过程。仿真结果表明,改进后的遗传算法收敛速度快,并以S9-315/10型电力变压器为算例,优化方案的性能指标符合相关国标,总损耗降低0.8%,材料成本降低8.3%。 相似文献

采用遗传算法进行图像配准时,存在收敛速度慢、易早熟的问题,可能导致误配。为克服这些缺点,提出了改进的自适应遗传算法(improved adaptive genetic algorithm,IAGA)。该算法以互信息作为相似性测度,通过对遗传参数设置的改进,自适应的调解进化过程中的交叉概率和变异概率,既提高了遗传算法的收敛速度,又有效地防止了早熟。实验结果表明,改进算法具有更好的有效性和精确性。 相似文献

The problem of iterative adjustments of the weights of a phased array with a look-direction constraint in the presence of jammers is presented. The technique described uses the adaptive conjugate method instead of the popularly used method of steepest descent to eliminate the jammer components, thus minimizing the error between the received signal and the actual one. This iterative method minimized the L 2 norm (the mean square error) and is guaranteed to converge in a finite number of steps which is not available for the present techniques utilized to solve this problem. Differential evolution algorithm is used for the pattern synthesis of planar antenna arrays with prescribed pattern nulls by position-only and position-amplitude optimization.
