在《巴黎协定》正式生效的前后,很多大石油公司积极表态将为气候变化采取行动。本文分析了主要的国际大石油公司采取的减排思路,总结了这些公司提出的二氧化碳减排策略和具体做法。文中指出石油公司对于二氧化碳减排都很慎重,既要选择能产生实质减排效果的途径,又要尽可能降低对主营业务的影响。因此在业务发展战略与减排战略之间寻找连接和平衡,突出多元化的二氧化碳减排途径,把重点聚焦在进一步加强节能降耗、有选择地发展低碳能源、推进二氧化碳的捕获和综合利用等方面。分析结果认为,首先,这些措施不仅能实现自身业务运营过程中的减排,还能通过提供清洁低碳能源、产品和服务推动社会相关部门以及消费者实现间接减排;其次,实施多样化的减排策略组合可以降低风险;第三,将应对气候变化与企业长远发展的顶层战略相结合,加快技术创新,是降低减排成本、实现减排效果的关键。  相似文献

Water resource management poses a challenge in the process industry because a large amount of water must be used, even when prices increase. Companies struggle to minimize consumption by reusing wastewater, and the resulting water-reuse-network problem has been actively investigated. With the rising impact of global climate change, it is necessary to develop a sustainable methodology to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the process industry. This paper proposes a mathematical model for sustainable water reuse networks that explicitly considers CO2 emissions. To construct a sustainable network, emissions due to the construction and operation of the water network and additional water demand due to CO2 capture facilities are incorporated. Actual case studies of steel manufacturing processes and eco-industrial parks are presented to illustrate the applicability of the model.  相似文献

The chemical industry comprises of the companies that produce industrial chemicals. It is central to the modern world economy, converting raw materials into more than 70 000 different products. However, environmental regulations and the risk of climate change are putting pressure on the chemical industry to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. In this work, we use the concept of process intensification (using thermally coupled distillation) to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions in a plant for the separation of amines. The results show that the use of thermally coupled distillation sequences can be related to a reduction in energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and good theoretical control properties in the re‐designed plant.  相似文献

A number of investigations have examined the impact of the use of biodiesel on the emissions of carbon dioxide and regulated emissions, but limited information exists on the chemical composition of particulate matter from diesel engines burning biodiesel blends. This study examines the composition of diesel particulate matter (DPM) emissions from a commercial agriculture tractor burning a range of biodiesel blends operating under a load that is controlled by a power take off (PTO) dynamometer. Ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel was blended with soybean and beef tallow based biodiesel to examine fuels containing 0% (B0), 25% (B25), 50% (B50), 75% (B75), and 100% (B100) biodiesel. Samples were then collected using a dilution source sampler to simulate atmospheric dilution. Diluted and aged exhaust was analyzed for particle mass and size distribution, PM2.5 particle mass, PM2.5 organic and elemental carbon, and speciated organic compounds. PM2.5 mass emissions rates for the B25, B50, and B75 soybean oil biodiesel mixtures had 20%–30% lower emissions than the petroleum diesel, but B100 emissions were about 40% higher than the petroleum diesel. The trends in mass emission rates with the increasing biodiesel content can be explained by a significant decrease in elemental carbon (EC) emissions across all blending ranges and increasing organic carbon (OC) emissions with pure biodiesel. Beef tallow biodiesel blends showed similar trends. Nevertheless, it is important to note that the study measurements are based on low dilution rates and the OC emissions changes may be affected by ambient temperature and different dilution conditions spanning micro-environments and atmospheric conditions. The results show that the use of biodiesel fuel for economic or climate change mitigation purposes can lead to reductions in PM emissions and a co-benefit of EC emission reductions. Detailed speciation of the OC emissions were also examined and are presented to understand the sensitivity of OC emissions with respect to biodiesel fuel blends.

钢铁行业是我国国民经济的重要基础产业,但同时也是我国污-碳排放量最大的工业行业。2019年4月,五部委联合印发了《关于推进实施钢铁行业超低排放的意见》,率先引领了工业烟气超低排放,我国钢铁行业大气污染排放量实现了大幅削减。“十四五”以来,在“双碳”背景下,随着减污降碳的提出,现有超低排放技术所带来的碳增量效应问题逐渐凸显,又对钢铁行业带来了新的技术需求。本工作阐述了我国钢铁行业超低排放的技术进展,归纳了钢铁行业减污降碳发展方向,并提出了未来钢铁行业绿色低碳发展建议,为推动中国钢铁行业的高质量绿色发展提供参考。  相似文献

The drive towards sustainability in construction is shaping our attitudes towards alternatives to Portland cement. Although the cement and concrete industry is essentially sustainable with respect to raw materials supply, and concrete manufacture actually gives relatively low CO2 emissions per unit volume compared to most competitive construction materials, the current focus on climate change has led to concerns about cement industry-generated CO2. Thus, there is interest in developing alternative cements with lower associated CO2 emissions. This paper seeks to provide a context for innovative development through a review of what is meant by a hydraulic cementitious binder, identification of key physico-chemical properties of successful binders and how novel systems generally rely on similar factors. Concepts such as reactivity, availability of reactive species and physico-chemical drivers for the formation of cementitious systems are discussed as a basis for introducing and reviewing recent developments in the search for ever more environmentally sustainable cements.  相似文献
