In this paper, focusing on visual management (VM) technology as an effective vehicle of continuous improvement activities, Kaizen case-base and its effectiveness are discussed by following three steps. For the first step, a framework of a Kaizen case transfer is placed to develop for effective VM development and transfer. For the second step, an example of VM case-base is constructed by using VM cases collected through a literature survey and factory investigations. For the third step, performance of the example VM case-base is validated by applying the proposed procedure, which consists of: (1) clarifying instances of current Kaizen problem; (2) retrieving Kaizen case-base by using established instances to detect applicable Kaizen cases; (3) developing suitable Kaizen cases to solve the current problem effectively; (4) applying suitable Kaizen cases to the current problem; and. (5) registering applied Kaizen cases for the current problem in Kaizen case-base, instances of it being clarified.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper was to explore how visual strategy and performance management techniques impact performance measurement and management practices of organisations. A novel visual performance management approach is developed and implemented in qualitative case studies with seven manufacturing SMEs across Europe. The implementation cases demonstrate that visual management systems serve to support ongoing strategy development and implementation, facilitate performance measurement and review, enable people engagement, improve internal and external communication, enhance collaboration and integration, support the development of a continuous improvement culture and foster innovation. Additional explorative and longitudinal research is required to understand the long-term impact of such approaches in both small and larger organisations.  相似文献

多管火箭系统总传递方程的自动推导和动力学快速计算是多管火箭系统动力学设计的关键。针对某新型多管火箭,建立多管火箭多体系统发射动力学模型及其拓扑结构,根据符号约定和各元件传递方程,建立了某多管火箭系统总传递方程自动推导方法,提高了多管火箭多体系统建模效率和程式化水平。建立了多管火箭系统动力学可视化仿真系统,实现了新型多管火箭动力学快速可视化仿真,并得到了试验验证。为新型多管火箭动力学设计提供了理论基础。  相似文献

In this paper, focusing on visual management (VM) as one of the kaizen technologies, a procedure for its new case development is discussed. This procedure consists of two portions. The first portion is construction of kaizen case-base, namely: (1) correction and analysis of kaizen cases; (2) establishment of drivers and instances of investigated kaizen case; and (3) analysis of proximity relationship among kaizen cases. The second portion is utilisation of kaizen case-base, namely: (4) selection of kaizen case from kaizen case-base; (5) consideration of the other related kaizen cases; and (6) new kaizen case design. A case study is performed to assure the relevance of the proposed procedure by focusing on ‘dispatching board’, a typical VM technology. Through collaboration with a factory eager to implement VM, the proposed procedure is qualified by experts as a useful method for kaizen knowledge transfer.  相似文献

This paper discusses a performance evaluation model of the visual management (VM) case-base. The research procedure of this paper consists of the following three phases: (1) formulation of the proposed model integrated by Quantification Theory Category III and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP); (2) construction of relational data between VM cases selected from the constructed case-base and typical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), i.e. quality, delivery, cost, etc.; and (3) preliminary experimentation to confirm the utility of the proposed model derived in the first phase based on the relational data derived in the previous phase. Using the experimental results, an evaluation of the constructed case-base performance and each VM case's contribution to each KPI is possible.  相似文献

Despite changes in tools and practices, the conceptual foundations of performance measurement and management (PMM) are still predominantly rooted in control systems research. While PMM approaches have delivered significant organisational benefits, including creating alignment, supporting monitoring and control, and enabling prediction and optimisation of resource allocation, this paper argues that this paradigm is not capable of responding to increasingly complex and highly uncertain organisational environments. Drawing on ideas emerging in the literature on systems engineering and complex systems, we propose a novel perspective that considers PMM from a ‘system of systems’ (SoS) point of view, whose essential characteristics are autonomy, belonging, connectivity, diversity and emergence. After identifying the assumptions underpinning existing PMM approaches, we outline a SoS-based paradigm to PMM and conclude by articulating the main implications for the practice of PMM and setting out a research agenda.  相似文献

文章将功能系数法与广泛应用于管理评价的逻辑框架法进行综合运用,认为项目及组织的可持续发展是建设项目协调管理的最高境界,从目标协调管理绩效、组织协调管理绩效、利益相关方协调管理绩效及项目和组织可持续发展性4个方面建立了建设项目协调管理绩效评价指标体系,并给出各指标的计算方法,运用功能系数法计算建设项目协调管理绩效综合评价功能系数,从而有效量化了对建设项目协调管理绩效的综合评价。最后,通过算例研究,验证了指标体系构建方法及各指标计算方法的可行性,这个方法可以有效地衡量协调管理的功能。  相似文献

 为解决大型工程机械设备的定制设计,满足客户的产品个性化需求,在分析产品定制技术的源流、类型及现状的基础上,针对现有定制方法和技术存在的局限性,提出了一种可视化的工程机械定制模式,建立了可视化定制系统的体系结构。针对工程机械的特点构建了该类产品的分类功能系统,生成与功能模块对应的三维模型。建立了由工程机械外部形态、色彩、装饰方案三部分组成的外观模块及对应的外观模型,和功能模块模型共同构成了完整的产品模型。建立支持各定制模块的ASP数据库,形成了综合产品功能和外观定制的定制系统。在Quest3D虚拟现实平台上,实现从产品局部定制到整体完成的全过程可视化,保证了定制操作的直观性和定制对象的视觉真实程度。最后,以路面铣刨机可视化定制系统为例,介绍了以铣刨机的功能和外观为主要定制内容的系统工作流程,证明可视化定制模式具有可实现性。  相似文献

The airline industry relies on the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) to integrate safety policies and augment safety performance at both organizational and individual levels. Although there are various degrees of SMS implementation in practice, a comprehensive scale measuring the essential dimensions of SMS is still lacking. This paper thus aims to develop an SMS measurement scale from the perspective of aviation experts and airline managers to evaluate the performance of company's safety management system, by adopting Schwab's (1980) three-stage scale development procedure. The results reveal a five-factor structure consisting of 23 items. The five factors include documentation and commands, safety promotion and training, executive management commitment, emergency preparedness and response plan and safety management policy. The implications of this SMS evaluation scale for practitioners and future research are discussed.  相似文献

The study examines how the utilisation of a new performance measurement system (PMS) influences supply chain management (SCM) and what kind of impacts the new system has on the performance of the supply chain. The paper utilises a longitudinal research setting where the data was gathered in two semi-structured interview studies after an action research project in which a new measurement system was designed and developed. The findings show how a PMS serves as a catalyst of inter-organisational knowledge transfer and promotes shared learning. The results also show how knowledge transfer and shared learning led to improved performance of the supply chain. The paper contributes by opening up the practical mechanisms through which performance measurement provides value for SCM and by showing how inter-organisational transfer of performance information catalyses learning and performance improvement. The paper looks beyond the design of performance measures and provides a view on the practice of supply chain performance management. The paper illustrates how sharing performance information amongst supply chain companies improves managers’ awareness of shared targets and the status of network operations. This also resulted in improved performance in the studied case network. Overall, the results encourage organisations to engage in network-level performance measurement and share performance information with their network partners.  相似文献

The planning problem in the context of a multi-site procurement-production-distribution system (MSPPDS) considered in this paper is motivated from a real life case of a multinational consumer goods company. A robust optimisation model considering model robustness and solution robustness in the objective function is developed for integrated planning in three dimensions. Detailed production, procurement and distribution plans are integrated; countrywide aggregate production plan is integrated with a detailed plan. Similarly the detailed production plans from the previous planning cycle are integrated with current production plans. Constraints on storage space, production capacity and the time lag between procurement, production and distribution activities are captured in the model. Procurement and production plans are treated as ‘here-and-now’ decisions and the distribution plans are treated as ‘wait-and-see’ decisions to be implemented based on the realised demand scenario. The model is illustrated using an example problem and also successfully applied to the data of a consumer goods company involving 104,000 variables (with 832 integer variables) and 21,000 constraints.  相似文献

为解决应用广泛的手持式数字万用表校准过度依赖人工的问题,依据JJF 1587-2016《数字多用表校准规范》,设计了手持式数字万用表自动校准装置。该校准装置通过机电系统实现了手持式数字万用表的工位控制、功能、量程切换及运动控制;通过视觉识别系统实现手持式数字万用表的数据读取;结合校准软件实现了8工位连续全自动校准。经实验验证表明:该装置提高了手持式数字万用表的校准工作效率,能够满足手持式数字万用表的校准需求。  相似文献

In this article, a distributed simulation tool for the feasibility evaluation of multi-site scheduling is proposed. The application areas concern supply chains (SCs) or networks of distributed workshops. The distributed simulation of workshops, called virtual workshops, generates various problems of causality and of tasks execution coordination. These problems are addressed in the proposed distributed architecture by the use of High Level Architecture protocol guaranteeing the synchronisation and the chronology of events occurring in the distributed simulations. An application to a simple case of the SC organising the flow between three workshops shows the effectiveness of the distributed simulation tool.  相似文献

There are many different production situations that can be employed to meet demand.In the engineer-toorder(ETO)production situation,products are manufactured to meet specific customer needs by unique engineering or significant customization.In such an environment,failing to supply the required materials in the right quantities and at the right time increases the risk of breaching due date agreements and thereby losing customer satisfaction.As such,materials management is one of the most important and critical processes within production planning and control in ETO.To bring attention and improvement to this area,ETO companies may benefit from a performance measurement system(PMS)that systematically monitors how well materials management is carded out.The design of a company's PMS varies with its production situation.Within the large body of literature on performance management and measurement,limited literature specifically addressing performance measurement in ETO has been identified.After being approached by a Norwegian ETO company requesting a PMS for materials management,the authors therefore set out to design the PMS from scratch,using literature on ETO,materials management and performance management and measurement as a starting point.The paper presents the proposed PMS.It provides a basis for further studies on the topic,and could be used by managers in ETO companies to assess and improve their materials management practice.  相似文献

This article presents an image processing system that can work in hard real‐time. Compared with systems that use the traditional multiprocessor architecture approach, this computer system takes advantage on recent technological advances and it is designed to work with a single processor PC under RTLinux. Its programming environment is similar to C programming language and it offers a friendly graphical user interface. The performance of the system is illustrated by means of experiments applied to visual guidance of mobile robots via velocity fields using a fixed high‐speed camera. Battery-powered electric vehicles (EV) need an efficient electric heating system for extending the driving mileage. An air-source heat pump system offers an economical alternative for EV because it consumes less energy than a heating system using Joule heat and it can use the same components as an air conditioning system for cooling. However, its performance degradation is inevitable at very low ambient temperatures. Although vapor refrigerant injection is known as a good technology to overcome this problem in residential heat pump systems, the number of vapor injection heat pump studies for EV applications is quite limited. In this paper, considering the characteristics of EV application, the configuration of a vapor injection heat pump system for EV is introduced, and it was modeled, using a scroll compressor geometry-based thermodynamic analysis. The performance was estimated for cold ambient regions under the EV operational conditions.  相似文献

Analytical models of multi-product manufacturing systems operating under CONWIP control are composed of closed queuing networks with synchronization stations. Under general assumptions, these queuing networks are hard to analyze exactly and therefore approximation methods must be used for performance evaluation. This research proposes a new approach based on parametric decomposition. Two-moment approximations are used to estimate the performance measures at individual stations. Subsequently, the traffic process parameters at the different stations are linked using stochastic transformation equations. The resulting set of non-linear equations is solved using an iterative algorithm to obtain estimates of key performance measures such as throughput, and mean queue lengths. Numerical studies indicate that the proposed method is computationally efficient and yields fairly accurate results when compared to simulation.  相似文献
