A causal realization of an inverse system can be unstable, and an anti-causal realization is used to deal with this problem
to provide a numerically stable procedure to realize the inverse system and compute its input signal. In this paper, we consider
the anti-causal realization of the inverse of discrete-time linear periodic systems obtained by an outer-inner factorization
approach. It presents an analysis and understanding of the inverse system error caused by different parts of the system components.
The analysis shows that the inverse system error due to the mismatching of the system initial state in the anti-causal inverse

This paper presents the application of self-sensing actuation (SSA) to facilitate the implementation of piezoelectric actuator in an intelligent mechatronic system. SSA is a technique to employ smart materials, such as piezoelectric materials, simultaneously as a sensor and an actuator; thereby increasing the level of integration of the system. The piezoelectric actuator is equipped with an exclusive adaptive controller amidst its nonlinearities and system's disturbance. This paper addresses an adaptive observation system and a wavelet-neural-network (WNN) control system for achieving the favorable decoupling control and high-precision position tracking performance of an induction motor (IM) drive. First, an adaptive observation system with an inverse rotor time-constant observer is derived on the basis of model reference adaptive system theory to preserve the decoupling control characteristic of an indirect field-oriented IM drive. The adaptive observation system is implemented using a digital signal processor with a high sampling rate to make it possible to achieve good dynamics. Moreover, a WNN control system is developed via the principle of sliding-mode control to increase the robustness of the indirect field-oriented IM drive with the adaptive observation system for high-performance applications. In the WNN control system, a WNN is utilized to predict the uncertain system dynamics online to relax the requirement of uncertainty bound in the design of a traditional sliding-mode controller. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed observation and control systems is verified by simulated and experimental results. 相似文献

This paper presents a novel approach to structure determination of linear systems along with the choice of system orders and parameters.AutoRegressive (AR),Moving Average (MA) or AutoRegressive-Moving Average (ARMA) model structure can be extracted blindly from the Third Order Cumulants (TOC) of the system output measurements,where the unknown system is driven by an unobservable stationary independent identically distributed (i.i.d.) non-Gaussian signal.By means of the system order recursion,whether the system has an AR structure or has AR part of an ARMA structure is firstly investigated.MA features in the TOC domain is then applied as a threshold to decide if the system is an MA model or has MA part of an ARMA model.Numerical simulations illustrate the generality of the proposed blind structure identification methodology that may serve as a guideline for blind linear system modeling. 相似文献
