基于二阶基调的时空查询代数形式化定义

提出了一种基于对象关系数据库和中间件技术的时空数据库系统实现与查询处理框架，着重论述了其中的时空查询代数。引入了二阶基调用于时空查询代数的形式化定义，给出了时宅数据库的逻辑结构定义、类型系统定义以及查询操作定义。     

基于数据库的中医专家诊断系统的研究

本文以中医理论知识为基础,结合数据库和专家系统,充分利用关系数据库具有优化查询,较高的数据独立性和一致性,且关系中的关系性明确的特点,实现计算机中医辅助诊断;将中医诊断知识进行概念化定义和形式化阐述,并将其放入知识库中,而其内在联系放入规则库中,共同完成对中医诊断知识的表示;系统的整体设计采用模块化结构,便于维护。     

并行主存数据库系统PRISMA／DB

ＰＲＩＳＭＡ／ＤＢ是一并行的主存关系数据库管理系统。其设计思想主要有两个：第一，将整个数据库存入主存从而获得高性能，第二，系统使用一种面向对象的程序设计语言以模块方式实现，使得这种灵活的组织结构适应于功能和性能方面的分析和试验，目前其原型系统已实现，运行在一个具有１００个结点的多处理机上。本文将其设计和实现细节作一初步介绍。     

关系数据库模式到XML Schema的通用映射模型

基于XML的异构数据库集成技术已经被应用到现有的数据集成平台中,但由于所采用的“模式自动翻译”法的局限性,当前众多的集成平台并不能真正实现异构关系数据库的自由集成。该文在关系模式和XML Schema的形式化定义的基础上,提出描述关系模式到XML Schema的映射关系的通用模型——RtoX,给出模型的合法性验证算法。依据该模型设计了新的关系数据到XML转换的通用算法。

对LabWindows/CVI SQL Toolkit工具包的使用方法进行了研究．设计了发动机台架试验测量控制系统关系数据库．开发了基于该工具包的数据库管理应用程序，实现了应用程序时数据库管理和应用。     

基于数据仓库的维度建模优化

维度建模是个概念模型,星型架构可视为其逻辑模型,至于其物理实现的数据库可以是关系数据库、多维数据库或其他数据库.由于多维数据库发展的不成熟,目前,一般利用关系数据库使用星型模型来实现维度建模.     

基于关系数据库的本体生成器设计与实现

为了利用已有的关系数据库自动生成本体,分析关系数据库与OWL本体的形式化对应关系,设计一套转换规则,给出一种由关系数据库出发自动建立本体的新方法。在VC＋＋环境下实现一个基于关系数据库的本体生成器,可以将关系数据库转换为OWL本体,并有效缩短本体的构建时间。以一个具体实例对该本体生成器进行了验证。

介绍一个面向对象的科研信息数据库管理系统的设计与实现，首先定义了能够存储和操纵多媒体数据的图文字段；其次较为深入地探讨了类，对象及其关联在关系数据库中的存储表示方法，提出了使用操作标识与历史标识两类对象标识辅助系统进行对象存储管理的策略；接头探讨并实现了对象的查询及优化，最后介绍了系统的管理流程．     

Using an entity model to drive physical database design

Logical relational database design, because of its implementation-independent nature, has been successfully formalized. Physical relational database design, because of its implementation-dependent nature, has remained largely unformalized and disconnected, not only from logical design but also from conceptual database design. The paper suggests a model for the physical design process that has proven useful in a number of practical development projects. The model demonstrates that a seamless join between conceptual, logical and physical design work is feasible. It illustrates how the process of annotating a conceptual model with physical detail provides a useful framework for driving the process of physical relational database design.     

数据库水印中的标记算法

面向对象数据库技术探讨

面向对象的数据库极有可能是数据库发展的方向,关系型数据库已显得力不从心,面向对象技术已经渗透到了数据库领域,把面向对象的方法和数据库技术结合起来可以使数据库系统的分析、设计最大程度地与人们对客观世界的认识相一致。面向对象数据库的技术机理并不高深,但它的设计思想却极有价值。     

Implementation of the database programming language modula/R on the personal computer lilith

Modula/R is a database programming language that integrates the programming language Modula-2 and the relational database model. This paper describes the language concepts of Modula/R and its implementation on the personal computer Lilith within the database project LID AS. A transaction concept as an extension of the procedure concept is integrated into Modula/R to support its implementation in a multi-user environment with access to shared distributed databases through a network of personal computers.     

Implementation of predicate-based protection in multisafe

This paper brings together a formal predicate-based model of protection and a relational approach to a protection database within the modular architecture of MULTISAFE. An implementation model is developed for the management of stored representations of authorization information. Classes of access decision dependency are reviewed, and protection policies, design decisions, and some implementation problems are discussed. Detailed examples are used to illustrate the use of this flexible and generalized approach to database security within the MULTISAFE system architecture.     

Incrementally maintained network→relational database mapping

An incrementally maintained mapping from a network to a relational database is presented. This mapping may be established either to support the efficient retrieval of data from a network database through a relational interface, or as the first step in a gradual conversion of data and applications from a network to a relational database system. After the mapping has been established, the only data mapped from the network to the relational database are the increments resulting from updates on the network database. The mapping is therefore an efficient alternative to mappings that repeatedly map the results of retrievals through the relational interface from the network database to the relational database. This is in particular the case when the two databases reside on different hosts. Applications on the network database may, under certain restrictions, gradually be moved to the relational database, while the mapping incrementally maintains the relational database for the applications that remain on the network database. A detailed, but generic, account of how to build such a mapping from a network to a relational database is given, including all the algorithms needed and examples of their use.
