The partial discharge (PD) inception characteristics are studied in liquid nitrogen (LN/sub 2/)/polypropylene laminated paper (PPLP/sup /spl reg//) composite insulation system for high temperature superconducting (HTS) cable. Experimental results revealed that the magnitude of the initial PD increased as the PD inception electric field strength was increased, because the injected energy increased. Initial PD was generated at the first and third quadrant of applied AC voltage phase. The probability of initial PD at the positive and negative voltage phase was almost the same. The reason is because liquid nitrogen is a nonpolar molecule and we used symmetric electrode configuration with uniform electric field distribution. Finally, it was pointed out that PD inception electric field strength (PDIE) depended on the volume of the butt gap because of the increasing probability of weak points of electrical insulation, and PDIE linearly decreased with increasing stressed volume of the butt gap in the log-log scale.  相似文献

In this paper, we studied partial discharge (PD) inception characteristics and V-t characteristics of PD inception in liquid nitrogen (LN/sub 2/)/polypropylene laminated paper (PPLP/sup /spl reg//) composite insulation system for high temperature superconducting (HTS) cable. Experimental results revealed that the magnitude of initial PD was in the range of 2.0-30 pC irrespective of butt gap condition and the initial PD was generated at the first and third quadrant of voltage phase. PD inception electric field strength (PDIE) without butt gap was 5-10% higher than that with butt gap and thicker butt gap gave larger PDIE drop. Moreover, PDIE with butt gap depended on the butt gap thickness and the number of PPLP/sup /spl reg// layers. The reason is explained by the existing probability of weak points of electrical insulation at butt gap. Finally, lifetime indices n of V-t characteristics at PD inception were obtained as 80-100 irrespective of butt gap condition. These values showed enough flat characteristics of V-t phenomena of electrical insulation.  相似文献

For the optimization of electrical insulation design for high temperature superconducting (HTS) cable, evaluation of electrical insulation characteristics especially for butt gap of LN/sub 2/ impregnated cold dielectric (CD) which consists of the wrapped tape insulation impregnated with LN/sub 2/ plays an important role. This paper presents partial discharge (PD) inception and breakdown characteristics in LN/sub 2/ impregnated butt gap model which modeled a weak point of the wrapped tape insulation impregnated with LN/sub 2/ and cable model with short length with polypropylene laminated paper (PPLP/sup /spl reg//), Nomex/sup /spl reg// paper and cellulose paper. PD current pulse was found to have a steep rise time of /spl sim/ ns and amplitude of /spl sim/ tens /spl mu/A at PD inception voltage region. Little dependency of breakdown stress on the insulating material is found. PD inception stress is almost independent of insulation thickness of 1 to 3 mm. The requirement insulation thickness for 66 kV class HTS cable is estimated to be /spl sim/ 5 mm under PD-free condition from viewpoint of long-term reliability.  相似文献

Impulse partial discharge (PD) and breakdown (BD) characteristics of rod-plane gaps in N/sub 2//SF/sub 6/ gas mixtures were investigated for different gap geometry, gas pressure and SF/sub 6/ gas content. Experimental results revealed that the 50% probability breakdown voltage increased with gas pressure, which agreed with the theoretical values with consideration of discharge time lag for impulse voltage application. For the calculation of discharge inception voltage, the volume-time theory was successfully applied to the N/sub 2//SF/sub 6/ gas mixture. Furthermore, impulse PD light emission image was observed together with PD current pulse and light intensity waveforms. The long discharge with stepwise propagation and double-peak PD pulses could be observed, which corresponded to the streamer/leader transition leading to breakdown.  相似文献

We have investigated impulse partial discharge (PD) and breakdown (BD) characteristics of a needle-plane gap in N/sub 2//SF/sub 6/ gas mixtures under positive lightning impulse voltage application, and discussed their physical mechanisms. The 50% probability PD inception voltage (PDIV/sub 50/), leader discharge onset voltage (LOV) and BD voltage (BDV/sub 50/) were measured and analyzed as a function of gas pressure and SF/sub 6/ content. Experimental results revealed the stepwise propagation process of the impulse PD and enabled us to classify the impulse PD in N/sub 2//SF/sub 6/ gas mixtures into two types, the streamer discharge and the leader discharge. We also discussed the impulse PD propagation mechanisms in terms of PD parameters such as propagation length, time interval and current pulse magnitude, and suggested a sequential relationship in the PD propagation process under non-uniform electric field.  相似文献

The LN2 cooling system for fully flexible three phase high Tc superconducting cables was addressed in this paper. Explicit formulas were presented to calculate the cooling capacity and stability. Thereafter, the stress cracking and the thermal contraction of electrical insulation at low temperature were analyzed theoretically and experimentally. The thermal contractions of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene insulation layer of short model cables were measured with the moire method and strain gauge method. The measured result was in good agreement with the theoretical result. Both the theoretical and experimental results confirmed that the insulation does not suffer from the stress cracking problem on cooldown, and it is an excellent candidate for the electrical insulation at low temperature  相似文献

大城市有可能最先采用商业化运行高温超导电缆 ,用于城市地下交流输电系统。其主要应用目标是用于地下电缆工程改造 ,利用现有排管以高温超导电缆取代现有的常导电缆 ,增加地下电缆传输容量以及采用高温超导电缆将巨大电能 (1GVA以上 )输入到城市负荷中心。采用常导电力电缆传输 1GVA以上的电能进入中心城区 ,输电电压一般要求为 5 0 0 k V。在城市中心区不可能建设 5 0 0 k V变电站。 5 0 0 k V电缆线路所需的 5 0 0 k V大长度电缆和相应附件 ,目前尚未研制开发。采用高温超导电缆将有可能降低输电电压等级 ,可以采用 2 2 0 k V高温超导电缆将 1GVA以上的电能输入到城市负荷中心 ,满足特大型城市负荷中心供电需求。采用 110 k V高温超导电缆 ,亦有可能传输 1GVA左右电能。本文通过对交流高温超导电缆系列设计计算对额定电压 35 k V、110 k V、2 2 0 k V的高温超导电缆 ,按不同传输电流 (或传输容量 ) ,以高温超导电缆的传输效率 (损耗与传输容量比 )、高温超导电缆外径限值和超导导体绕制结构限制条件 ,确定高温超导电缆适用性界定条件 ,提出城市地下输电、配电系统用高温超导电缆可行方案。  相似文献

In inverter-fed motor coils, surge voltages with the rise time of several tens or hundreds of nano-second may cause partial discharge (PD) and degradation of electrical insulation performance of the inverter-fed motor coils. This paper discusses PD inception characteristics as well as PD propagation characteristics after PD inception for magnet wire of inverter-fed motor under surge voltage application. Experimental results firstly revealed that PD inception voltage (PDIV) decreased with the increase in the length of enamel-coated wire, which was evaluated in terms of the stressed wire contact length under surge voltage application, i.e. size effect. We proposed a regression line for the size effect on PDIV for the electrical insulation design of inverter-fed motor coils. Secondly, PD propagation characteristics were also investigated under the higher voltage application, and their mechanisms were discussed in terms of generation probability of initial electrons, space charge behavior in the wedge-shaped air gap, charging on the enamel surface and so on  相似文献

We propose using zeolite filter in portable processing equipment to separate and recover SF/sub 6/ from SF/sub 6//N/sub 2/ mixtures. Testing of a prototype filter has shown that SF/sub 6/ is completely adsorbed by the filter, and the exhaust gas from the filter is pure N/sub 2/ (i.e., at an undetectable level of SF/sub 6/ measured by a gas chromatograph). The SF/sub 6/ fraction of the sorbate phase (solid phase) has been evaluated from the tests, and it is a high fraction as expected. For example, 70% sorbate corresponding to processing a mixture of 5% SF/sub 6/, and 83% sorbate corresponding to processing a mixture containing 10% SF/sub 6/. The process of releasing the SF/sub 6/ from the filter and renewing the filter by thermal swing adsorption (TSA) technique has also been investigated to determine a commercial operating temperature of 150/spl deg/C. The feasibility of applying this new concept in a portable SF/sub 6//N/sub 2/ mixture processing equipment is discussed and compared with an alternative system that the authors developed previously which was based on pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technique and also using zeolite.  相似文献

A novel synthesis route of ZnSe/gel-glass mesoporous composite was described. $ {\text{SeO}}_{4} ^{{2 - }} $ and Zn2+ were loaded into the porous framework of silica gel-glasses by immersion. Followed by drying and the reductive thermal treatment, the transparent, homogeneous ZnSe/SiO2 samples with the color of light yellow were prepared. The specific surface area, grain size, structure and phase properties of nano-sized ZnSe/SiO2 mesoporous composites were studied by powder X-ray diffraction, nitrogen sorption, SEM. The effects of pore structure properties and loading solution concentration on the optical absorption of ZnSe/SiO2 were investigated by UV-vis absorption. It is found that the optical absorption edges of ZnSe nanoparticles in mesoporous silica shift to the red as ZnSe loading concentration increases, which is attributed to the quantum size effect. The nonlinear optical property of these samples was presented by the open aperture z-scan technique. This method has some potential advantages in comparison to the conventional methods.  相似文献

In this study, in order to develop the composition ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, PNN substituted PMN-PZT ceramics were fabricated using Li2CO3 and Na2CO3 as sintering aids, and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated. With the increase of the amount of PNN substitution, dielectric constant (εr), electromechanical coupling factor (k p), and piezoelectric constant (d 33) of specimens showed the maximum value at each sintering temperature, and crystal structure changed from tetragonal to rhombohedral. At the sintering temperature of 950C, the density, εr, k p, d 33, Qm and Tc of 12 mol% PNN substituted PMN-PNN-PZT composition ceramics showed the optimal values of 7.79 g/cm3, 1160, 0.599, 419pC/N, 894 and 332C, respectively, for low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator application.  相似文献
