Mobile financial services have been adopted rapidly during the digitisation era. This study therefore aims to investigate the antecedents of mobile stock trading adoption among young investors. Using the structural equation modelling technique, this study develops an integrated theoretical framework from both the Technology Acceptance Model and Theory of Planned Behaviour using survey data from 373 young retail investors. The suggested model incorporates the six constructs of perceived risk, perceived benefits, perceived usefulness, attitude, perceived behavioural control and social influence and assesses how they affect the intention to adopt mobile stock trading. The results show a strong positive connection among attitude, perceived behavioural control, perceived benefits and intention towards mobile stock trading. We find that trust adds great explanatory power to perceived behavioural control, attitude and social influence in explaining investors’ adoption intention. Surprisingly, perceived risk is not significantly correlated with adoption intention. This study has employed a comprehensive framework to understand the acceptance level of mobile stock trading.  相似文献

Due to the low adoption rate of mHealth apps, the apps designers need to understand the factors behind adoption. But understanding the determinants of mHealth apps adoption remains unclear. Comparatively less attention has been given to the factors affecting the adoption of mHealth apps among the young generation. This study aims to examine the factors influencing behavioral intention and actual usage behavior of mHealth apps among technology prone young generation. The research model has extracted variables from the widely accepted Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) alongside privacy, lifestyles, self-efficacy and trust. Required data were collected from mHealth apps users in Bangladesh. Firstly, this study confirmed that performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation and privacy exerted a positive influence on behavioral intention whereas facilitating conditions, self-efficacy, trust and lifestyle had an influence on both behavioral intention and actual usage behavior. Secondly, the Neural Network Model was employed to rank relatively significant predictors obtained from structural equation modeling (SEM). This study contributes to the growing literature on the use of mHealth apps in trying to elevate the quality of patients' lives. The new methodology and findings from this study will significantly contribute to the extant literature of technology adoption and mHealth apps adoption intention especially. Therefore, for practitioners concerned with fostering mHealth apps adoption, the findings stress the importance of adopting an integrated approach centered on key findings of this study.  相似文献

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that combines virtual objects with the real world. In recent years, the rapid development of smartphones has provided a suitable environment for AR technology. This study aims to explore the continuance intention to utilize AR mobile entertainment applications, using the decomposed theory of planned behavior. The research hypotheses were verified using structural equation modeling, which revealed that: (1) telepresence, perceived mobility, perceived enjoyment, and perceived connectedness exert a positive effect on users' attitude toward AR mobile apps; nostalgia is the only factor not to do so; (2) perceived critical mass has a significant positive impact on subjective norms, whereas peer influence does not; (3) self-efficacy has a significant positive influence on perceived behavioral control but facilitating conditions does not; and (4) users' attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control all have significant positive impacts on users’ intention to continue to use the technology.  相似文献

目的探讨智慧医疗的发展方向及其在提升医疗服务体验方面的可能性。方法运用观察和访谈的方法,来分析复杂医疗流程中提升服务体验的机会点,依据前文归纳出的智慧医疗发展方向,对机会点或痛点逐一提出解决策略,并将这些策略整合进原来的医疗服务中,以此提升医疗服务体验。结论智慧医疗的三个发展方向为医疗服务内容的数字化、服务关键决策者的网络化和医疗数据处理的智能化。智慧医疗的发展不仅为医疗行业的管理运作提供便利,也存在改善医疗体验的巨大潜力。在本案例研究中,医疗信息的数字化和网络化是增强患方信息支持的基础,增强就医流程中患方的信息支持有助于提高所有服务参与者(医护人员、患者、陪同者)的体验。智慧医疗服务则有潜力被应用于智能分析病例,并提供专业医疗咨询以减轻医护人员的工作压力,助其提供更优质的服务。  相似文献

This study explores the use of augmented reality smart glasses (ARSGs) by physicians and their adoption of these products in the Turkish medical industry. Google Glass was used as a demonstrative example for the introduction of ARSGs. We proposed an exploratory model based on the technology acceptance model by Davis. Exogenous factors in the model were defined by performing semi-structured in-depth interviews, along with the use of an expert panel in addition to the technology adoption literature. The framework was tested by means of a field study, data was collected via an Internet survey, and path analysis was used. The results indicate that there were a number of factors to be considered in order to understand ARSG adoption by physicians. Usefulness was influenced by ease of use, compatibility, ease of reminding, and speech recognition, while ease of use was affected by ease of learning, ease of medical education, external influence, and privacy. Privacy was the only negative factor that reduced the perceived ease of use, and was found to indirectly create a negative attitude. Compatibility emerged as the most significant external factor for usefulness. Developers of ARSGs should pay attention to healthcare-specific requirements for improved utilization and more extensive adoption of ARSGs in healthcare settings. In particular, they should focus on how to increase the compatibility of ARSGs. Further research needs to be conducted to explain the adoption intention of physicians.  相似文献

Mobile health represents the future trend of health care due to its great potential in improving health care efficiency, accessibility and quality. It is particularly beneficial for chronic disease patients who require long-term and regular services. To improve the products, mobile health developers need to understand patient needs, values and preferences, and assess the key factors that influence their mobile health adoption intentions. This study focuses on identifying the influential factors of patients’ adoption intention of m-Health. A structural equation model is constructed, and the confirmatory factor analysis and standard path coefficient are used to explore the key factors in chronic disease patients’ adoption process of m-Health. The results show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have the strongest positive effect on patients’ adoption intention. Meanwhile, subjective norm, existing degree of satisfaction, network effect, and cost factor also influence adoption intention. Finally, the House of Quality method is used to examine the relative importance of various properties of m-Health. The Teoriya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch method is applied to resolve the contradictions between these properties. Our study offers important insights for mobile health developers on how to optimally design a product, thereby increasing users’ adoption intention and overall satisfaction.  相似文献

Blockchain technology (BT) is expected to bring a revolutionary paradigm shift in the manner the transactions are carried in the supply chains. BT provides better visibility and transparency by removing the disadvantages of trust related issues in a supply chain. In this paper, we advance the literature on BT and its adoption in the supply chain by developing, and statistically validating a model for understanding the user perceptions on BT adoption. The model is based on the integration of three adoption theories- technology acceptance model (TAM), technology readiness index (TRI) and the theory of planned behaviour (TPB). Based on a survey of 181 supply chain practitioners in India the proposed model was tested using structural equation modelling. The study found that the TRI constructs- Insecurity and discomfort have an insignificant effect on the perceived ease of use and usefulness. Perceived usefulness, attitude, and perceived behavioural control affect the behavioural intention. Subjective norm has a negligible impact on behavioural intention. This is one of the preliminary studies on BT adoption in supply chain and the findings imply that the supply chain practitioners perceive BT adoption free of efforts and would help them to derive maximum benefits for improving the supply chain effectiveness.  相似文献

Initiatives for marine conservation are funded by revenue from marine sites. However, the emergence of COVID-19 has restricted travelling, thus leading to decreased revenue and weakening conservation efforts. Virtual reality technology to support marine conservation efforts is explored as it allows users to experience marine sites, without having to be there physically. This study examines factors influencing users' desire to adopt virtual reality technology in marine ecotourism. With the integration of Stimulus-Organism-Response framework and three behavioural theories (i.e. health belief model, attitude, and eTrust), a hypothetical model was constructed to investigate consumers’ intention to adopt virtual reality technology in marine ecotourism amidst the pandemic. The data were analysed and interpreted using structural equation modelling after 451 survey responses were obtained via an online questionnaire. Outcome expectation, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, self-efficacy, and cues to action exhibit significant positive effects on attitude towards virtual reality technology in marine ecotourism. Consequently, attitude has a direct and indirect influence on use intention via eTrust. Post hoc analysis revealed that self-efficacy has a direct impact on eTrust and use intention. Total effect analysis further concluded that attitude has the greatest influence on use intention of virtual reality technology in marine ecotourism. This research contributes to the existing literature by utilizing health belief factors to explain use intention of technology towards marine conservation efforts. Recommendations including policy formulation and marketing initiatives were generated for marine ecotourism operators and policymakers.  相似文献

Wearable technologies have become a reality already. Their impact in some fields has already been seen. We explore the factors which are important and help the adoption of these technologies. Specifically we study the adoption factors of smart glasses. Technology adoption process depends on preferences and needs of people who use the systems under study. We explore these phenomenon through two frameworks: Product Characteristics and User Intention Characteristics. The purpose of the first framework is to examine the effects of smart glass design features; Stand-alone device, field of view, interaction, price, and display resolution on user preference through an experimental study and we use conjoint analysis. The second framework explore many more factors such as self-efficacy, anxiety, involvement, risk-task characteristics, enjoyment, usefulness, ease of use, attitude and intention. Over the past decade, the markets for mobile and wireless services have been among the world's fastest-growing, especially in Asian countries, presenting financial institutions with significant opportunities to offer value-added services. Mobile banking has since emerged as a new channel enabling the banks to react strategically to changes in competitive forces and to enhance customer convenience.Based on Diffusion of Innovations (DOI) theory, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB) model, this study develops an integrated model to provide a fuller understanding of factors facilitating or impeding the adoption of mobile banking, focusing on consumers in Taiwan and Vietnam. While subjective norms had a significant effect on the intention to adopt, three attributes of mobile banking (compatibility, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk) were found to have indirect effects on intention to adopt mobile banking through attitude toward adoption for consumers in both Taiwan and Vietnam. Intention to adopt mobile banking was indirectly influenced by self-efficacy and facilitating conditions, and directly affected by perceived behavioral control in both nations. Some differences in intention to adopt mobile banking between Taiwanese and Vietnamese are also discussed. Based on the research findings, managerial implications for financial institutions and mobile service providers are discussed.  相似文献

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) offers an infrastructure made of smart medical equipment and software applications for healthcare services. Through the internet, the IoMT is capable of providing remote medical diagnosis and timely health services. The patients can use their smart devices to create, store and share their electronic health records (EHR) with a variety of medical personnel including medical doctors and nurses. However, unless the underlying commination within IoMT is secured, malicious users can intercept, modify and even delete the sensitive EHR data of patients. Patients also lose full control of their EHR since most healthcare services within IoMT are constructed under a centralized platform outsourced in the cloud. Therefore, it is appealing to design a decentralized, auditable and secure EHR system that guarantees absolute access control for the patients while ensuring privacy and security. Using the features of blockchain including decentralization, auditability and immutability, we propose a secure EHR framework which is mainly maintained by the medical centers. In this framework, the patients’ EHR data are encrypted and stored in the servers of medical institutions while the corresponding hash values are kept on the blockchain. We make use of security primitives to offer authentication, integrity and confidentiality of EHR data while access control and immutability is guaranteed by the blockchain technology. The security analysis and performance evaluation of the proposed framework confirms its efficiency.  相似文献

In a sample of 170 youngsters, the effect of two versions of a public service announcement (PSA) threat appeal against speeding, placed in four different contexts, on evoked fear, perceived threat (severity and probability of occurrence), perceived response efficacy and self-efficacy, message involvement and anti-speeding attitude and anti-speeding intention is investigated. Evoked fear and perceived threat and efficacy independently influence message involvement. Message involvement is a full mediator between evoked fear, perceived threat and efficacy perception on the one hand, and attitudes towards the message and behavioral intention to accept the message on the other. Speeding experience has a significantly negative impact on anti-speeding attitudes. Message and medium context threat levels and context thematic congruency have a significant effect on evoked fear and to a lesser extent on perceived threat.  相似文献

Digital technologies adoption includes the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, has become a topic of utmost interest over the last decade. Healthcare sectors across the developed countries have already started adopting digital technologies in their service delivery scapes. However, in developing countries like India, the healthcare service sector has yet to take full advantage of such digital technology-enabled platforms to transform itself while catering to patients, managers, physicians, and healthcare practitioners. Thus, there is a need for a conceptual understanding with an overarching goal of clarifying the outcomes of digital technologies adoption on healthcare services and its orchestration. This paper analyses the impact of digitized healthcare technology adoption on the transparency and orchestration aspect of care services empirically. The theoretical relationships between digital technologies adaptation with care service transparency and orchestration have been validated here and also analyze path linkages through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of SEM highlight the fact that the adoption of digitized technology platforms can achieve care service-orchestration. This study results, supporting the hypotheses for achieving care service orchestration, might pave the way and motivate potential sets of hospitals, characterized by decision dilemma, waiting at the verge of digital technology adoption in the healthcare context, especially in the Indian subcontinental context.  相似文献

To determine the most frequent factors that extended the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) in the context of Mobile payment (M-payment) adoption, a quantitative meta-analysis approach of 25 studies was undertaken. The results indicated that perceived risk, perceived trust, perceived cost, and self-efficacy were the most frequent factors that achieved significant results in the surveyed studies. Accordingly, this study is an attempt to extend the UTAUT model with these factors; proposing a general extended UTAUT model for M-payment adoption. The proposed model is validated using the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The data were collected from a total of 436 M-payment users in Oman. The results indicated that the best predictor of M-payment users’ intention to use the M-payment system is performance expectancy, followed by social influence, effort expectancy, perceived trust, perceived cost, and self-efficacy, respectively. Nonetheless, perceived risk was found to have an insignificant negative impact on the behavioral intention to use M-payment systems. The conclusions derived from this study enhance the understanding of the factors determining the adoption of M-payment systems in Oman.  相似文献

The main purpose of this research is to study the relationship between servicescape and the intention to use self-service technology (SST) using core service and employee service as the moderators and attitude as mediator. The subjects of this research were customers using self-service facilities at banks in Guangzhou, China. Convenience sampling was utilized to survey customers in the bank service outlets; 485 questionnaires were collected. The results show that servicescape has a significantly positive impact on intention to use SST. Attitude toward using SST plays a mediating role in the relationship between servicescape and intention to use SST, while employee service negatively moderates the impact of servicescape on attitude toward using SST. Also, core service negatively moderates the impact of attitude toward using SST on the intention to use SST. This research extends the literature on SST and provides practical information for service enterprises adopting SST.  相似文献

Electronic health records have recently received increasing attention from researchers and practitioners. Nonetheless, research exploring the antecedents of adoption is limited. In this study, drawing on the institutional theory and theory of planned behavior, we propose a model to empirically investigate the salience of institutional pressures (i.e., coercive, normative and mimetic) to attitude towards electronic health records and adoption intention, and how such effects are moderated by organizational culture. The study used data drawn from a field survey conducted with 322 health practitioners to empirically test the proposed research model. The results revealed the significant effects of institutional pressures on attitude towards electronic health records. Moreover, attitude was also indicated to have a significant positive relationship with practitioner's intention to adopt electronic health records. In addition, it was revealed that, organizational culture significantly moderates the relationship between practitioners' attitude towards electronic health records and adoption intention. The implications of the study findings are discoursed on, and suggestions for future research and policy are succinctly spelt out.  相似文献

With the increasing popularity and adoption of health/fitness apps, more research attention is needed to examine users' behavior in order to promote sustained usage of the apps. The purpose of this study is to understand health and fitness app users' decision-making process by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Investment Model (IM). Three hundred forty-six responses were collected from health and fitness app users in China. A confirmatory factor analysis and a structural equation modeling analysis were conducted. Results show that continuance intention to use the apps is significantly affected by constructs included in the two models. Specifically, perceived ease of use of the apps has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, which further affects users' intention to continue using the apps. In addition, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the apps have significant effects on users' satisfaction, investment size, and quality of available alternatives, and these three constructs affect users' relationship commitment to the apps, which, in turn, influences users' continuing intention. The integrated model provides new insights into the app users' decision-making process and suggests practical implications for app providers, such as developing strategies to evoke and maintain users’ interest in their apps, keeping users satisfied by personalizing their experience, and designing features that keep users invested in the apps.  相似文献

Technological development has drastically changed customers' daily lives by offering them new ways to shop. It also creates more opportunities for business to achieve sustainable success; however, both scholars and managers are still having relative difficulty in fully grasping customer behavior in terms of technology acceptance during the Industry 4.0. This study aims to investigate the possible factors that drive Chinese customers' willingness to utilize facial recognition payment. The findings showed that factors such as perceived enjoyment, facilitating conditions, personal innovativeness, coupon availability, perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), and users' attitude are main drivers of customers' decisions to use facial recognition payment. Also, we found that gender differences exist in the adoption of facial recognition payment. Facilitating conditions have stronger effects on men's attitude towards usage, while coupon availability shapes female users' perception of usefulness more powerfully. By testing the extended technology acceptance model (TAM), this study seeks to gain more insight into technological change within society. Overall, investigation of the drivers of customer intention to use facial recognition payment, and exploration of their internal relationships will fulfil theoretical requirements and lead to a better understanding of customers' technology acceptance behavior, which in turn will provide greater theoretical and practical guidance for scholars and managers.  相似文献

Pre-adoption phases of innovation are understudied in the innovation literature. This article addresses pre-adoption phases of innovation by running a prospective analysis. We assess the readiness of municipalities for the adoption of a digital tool that brings about process innovation concerning stakeholder management. Through an online survey, we elicit the public managers’ attitudes and their adoption expectation towards the tool. By drawing on insights from Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Theory of Planned Behaviour, we investigate which attributes of innovation along with managerial, organisational and environmental factors, contribute to a favourable attitude and an increased likelihood of innovation adoption. Our analysis reveals that while the perceived attributes of innovation such as its relative advantage and compatibility are major determinants of attitude formation and adoption expectation, pro-digitalisation beliefs, innovation-oriented organisational culture and environmental context factors such as high population and rates of new residential growth are critical in translation of positive attitudes to increased likelihood of adoption. Hence, in addition to perceived attributes of innovation and managerial characteristics, our findings also highlight the importance of organisational and environmental factors to the adoption expectation, and thus provide a more nuanced understanding of pre-adoption phases of innovation.  相似文献
