High piezoelectricity was achieved in Ba(Ti0.90Sn0.10)O3 lead-free ceramics by optimizing CuO addition and sintering temperature. The phase structure of 1.0 mol% CuO-doped Ba(Ti0.90Sn0.10)O3 ceramic is coexisting rhombohedral and tetragonal phases as sintered at 1300 °C. The coexistence of rhombohedral, tetragonal and orthorhombic phases appears in 1.0 mol% CuO-doped Ba(Ti0.90Sn0.10)O3 ceramics as sintered at 1350–1450 °C, which leads to highly enhanced d33 up to 650pC/N. This work demonstrates that high piezoelectric property (d33 = 650pC/N) can be obtained in BaTiO3-based lead-free piezoceramics with a simple composition modification by modulating phase structures, which also indicates that Ba(Ti,Sn)O3 is a promising candidate to replace the lead-based piezoceramics.  相似文献

1 mol% Li2O excess (Na0.51K0.47Li0.02)(Nb0.8Ta0.2)O3 ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method and sintered from 950 to 1200 °C. Also, Li2O was employed as a sintering aid for high densification and low temperature sintering process. X-ray diffraction results of 1 mol% Li2O excess (Na0.51K0.47Li0.02)(Nb0.8Ta0.2)O3 lead free piezoelectric ceramics indicated that the specimens were well crystallized and have tetragonal structure. The specimens which sintered at 1050 °C showed the highest piezoelectric properties compared with others. The measured piezoelectric constant and electromechanical coupling coefficient were 231 pC/N and 38.9%, respectively. Curie temperature of (Na0.51K0.47Li0.02)(Nb0.8Ta0.2)O3 ceramics was 344.32, 344.4 and 344.5 °C at 1, 10 and 100 kHz, respectively.  相似文献

Nanoparticles in the system (K,Na,Li)(Nb,Ta,Sb)O3, modified KNN, were synthesized following a solid state reaction procedure. Milling of the individual carbonate and oxide raw materials was carried out before mixing of the components to optimize particle size. These mixtures were calcined at 700 °C for 2 h, obtaining nanoparticles with size ranging between 50 and 200 nm. The optimization of the raw materials particle size and the particle refinement of the carbonates during their decomposition play a key role in the formation of the modified KNN nanoparticles by solid state route. The obtained nanoparticles show tetragonal and orthorhombic phases coexistence that could be attributed in part to the lack of homogeneity of cations distribution confirmed by EDS analysis. The K+ cation excess on the modified KNN system produces a displacement of Li+ cations from the perovskite structure that is the origin of the stabilization of the orthorhombic symmetry. These nanoparticles are used to sintered ceramics with good piezoelectric properties without needing of anisotropic preparation methods. The sintered ceramics show resistance to hygroscopicity and deliquescence.  相似文献

The quaternary piezoelectric ceramics of Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3–Pb(Mn1/3Sb2/3)O3–Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 (PZT–PMS–PZN) with different PZN contents were synthesized by molten salt synthesis (MSS). The influence of PZN content on phase structure, microstructure, dielectric and piezoelectric properties was investigated in detail. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) show that the phase structure of ceramics transforms from rhombohedral phase to tetragonal phase with the increasing of PZN content. The morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) of composition is located in the range of PZN content from 2 to 7 mol%. The grain size of the ceramics gradually decreases with the increasing of PZN content. Dielectric and piezoelectric properties of ceramics are significantly influenced by the PZN content. Ceramics sintered at 1150 °C with 5 mol% PZN achieve excellent properties, which are as follows: Qm = 1381, Kp = 0.64, d33 = 369pC/N, tan δ = 0.0044 and Tc = 275 °C. The PZT–PMS–PZN system is a promising material for high power piezoelectric transformers application.  相似文献

Lead-free piezoelectric 0.992(0.95K0.5Na0.5NbO3–0.05LiSbO3)–0.008BiScO3; KNN-LS-BS ceramics were successfully prepared using the combustion method. The highest % perovskite phase was found in the sample calcined at 700 °C for 1 h. The structural phase of orthorhombic structure was also detected in this sample. For the sintered ceramics, a pure tetragonal perovskite phase was observed in the samples sintered between 1025 and 1100 °C. The microstructure of ceramics showed a square or rectangular shape and the average grain size increased with increasing of sintering temperature. The density of the ceramics increased with increasing of sintered temperature up to 1075 °C, were it reached 97.5% of theoretical density and then dropped in value when the sintered temperature further increased. The excellent electrical properties of εr at Tc=6600, tanδ at Tc=0.04, Pr (at 40 kV/cm)=19.4 μC/cm2 and Ec (at 40 kV/cm)=24.1 kV/cm were obtained in the most dense ceramic. The results indicate that the KNN-LS-BS ceramics are promising lead-free piezoelectric materials.  相似文献

In this paper, lead-free (Na0.474K0.474Li0.052)(Nb0.948Sb0.052)O3 ceramics were synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction route. The effects of sintering temperature on the crystal structure, microstructure, densification, dielectric properties, and ferroelectric properties of the KNNLS ceramics were addressed. X-ray diffraction patterns and Raman spectrum indicated a transition from orthorhombic to tetragonal phase during the sintering temperature region. This transition is attributed to the migration of Li between the matrix grain and grain boundary. Scanning electron microscopy study revealed increased grain size and enhanced densification with increasing sintering temperature. The density of the ceramics sintered at 1080 °C reached a maximum value of 4.22 g/cm3. KNNLS ceramics sintered at an optimum temperature of 1080 °C exhibited high piezoelectric properties, that is 242 pC/N for d33, 0.42 for kp and 18.2 μC/cm2 for Pr.  相似文献

An investigation was made into the Bi(Mg0.75W0.25)O3–PbTiO3 (BMW-PT) system. The aim was to find the optimum composition with respect to piezoelectric and dielectric properties and link this to the presence of a morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). The optimum composition was found to be 62 mol% PT. The maximum values of the piezoelectric constant d33 = 150 pm/V and the maximum relative dielectric constant ɛ330 = 1400. The dielectric loss is high with tan δ typically ∼5%. Results from capacity versus the temperature measurements indicate a Curie temperature of 220 °C, which is significantly lower than the predicted value.  相似文献

In this study, <001>-textured 0.99(K0.5Na0.5)0.95Li0.05Nb0.93Sb0.07O3−0.01CaZrO3 [abbreviated as 0.99KNLNS-0.01CZ] lead-free ceramics were prepared by templated grain growth (TGG) using plate-like NaNbO3 templates and sintered by a two-step sintering process with different soaking time. All textured samples with high Lotgering factor (f >85%) presented orthorhombic and tetragonal coexisting phase, and the proportion of orthorhombic phase was varied with prolonged soaking time. A large piezoelectric constant d33 (~ 310 pC/N) was obtained in the textured samples with a 12 h soaking time, which was almost twice larger compared to the randomly oriented one. Furthermore, the field-induced piezoelectric strain coefficient d33*(~ 440 pm/V) of the textured ceramics with 6 h soaking time was larger than the value of randomly oriented one (~ 298 pm/V) at room-temperature. Enhanced piezoelectric response and good temperature stability prove that <001>-textured 0.99KNLNS-0.01CZ ceramics are promising candidates in the field of lead-free piezoelectric materials.  相似文献

(1?x)Na0.47K0.47Li0.06NbO3 (NKLN)–xAgSbO3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared using a reaction sintering method. The effects of AgSbO3 doping on the structural and electrical properties of NKLN ceramics sintered at 1000–1040 °C were studied. The dopant affected densification, phase content, sintering temperature, microstructure and electrical properties. Variations in the relative intensity of X-ray diffraction peaks were consistent with Ag+ and Sb5+ ions substituting on the perovskite lattice to produce a change in the proportions of co-existing tetragonal and orthorhombic phases. Grain growth during secondary re-crystallization was also affected. The temperature of the orthorhombic–tetragonal (O–T) phase transition and the Curie temperature (TC) decreased as a result of AgSbO3 modifications. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties are enhanced for the composition near the orthorhombic–tetragonal polymorphotropic phase boundary. The 0.92Na0.47K0.47Li0.06NbO3–0.08AgSbO3 ceramics exhibited optimum electrical properties (d33=252 pC/N, εr=1450, tan δ=0.02, and TC=280 °C). These results reveal that (1?x)Na0.47K0.47Li0.06NbO3xAgSbO3 ceramics are promising materials for lead-free piezoelectric application.  相似文献

Lead-free Ba0.85Ca0.15Zr0.10Ti0.90O3 (BCZT) ceramics were prepared by Plasma Activated Sintering (PAS). The influence of PAS sintering temperature on the crystalline phase, microstructure, and, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of BCZT ceramics were studied. The phase structure of BCZT ceramics first changed from rhombohedral phase to the coexistence of rhombohedral and tetragonal phases and then to tetragonal phase as the sintering temperature increased. Microstructural characterization of BCZT ceramics indicated that PAS can obtain a compact microstructure at lower temperatures of 1150–1300 °C compared with that from common pressureless sintering. The BCZT ceramics showed different degrees of diffuseness with increased temperature, and the diffuseness exponents C are all approximately on the order of 105 °C. The dielectric and ferroelectric properties of BCZT ceramics were enhanced with increased sintering temperature. BCZT ceramics sintered at 1250 °C exhibited optimum properties of room-temperature εr=2863, εm=6650, and 2Pr=25.24 μC/cm2, resulting from the relatively higher tetragonal phase content of the MPB between tetragonal and rhombohedral phases together with a compact microstructure.  相似文献

The effects of Ta substitution for B-site Nb in (Na0.53K0.47)(Nb1?xTax)O3 (NKNT) ceramics were investigated in the range of x = 0–0.6. It was found that polymorphic phase transitions (PPT) were significantly influenced by Ta substitution. Transitions among orthorhombic, tetragonal, and cubic phases in sequence with temperature, TO-T and TC, respectively, decreased linearly with x. At x = 0.45, TO-T was reduced to room temperature from 182 °C at x = 0, and subsequently piezoelectric coefficient (d33) at room temperature was enhanced up to 284 pC/N from 120 pC/N at x = 0 due to the coexistence of ferroelectric orthorhombic and tetragonal NKNT phases. With x further increasing beyond x = 0.45, d33 decreased due to there being no orthorhombic but only a tetragonal NKNT phase at room temperature with TO-T below room temperature.  相似文献

A homogeneous KNbO3 (KN) phase was formed in specimens that were sintered at 1020 °C and 1040 °C, without formation of the K2O-deficient secondary phase, indicating that the amount of evaporation of K2O during sintering was very small. However, the KN liquid phase was formed during sintering and assisted the densification of the KN ceramics. A dense microstructure was developed in the specimen sintered at 1020 °C for 6 h and abnormal grain growth occurred in this specimen. A similar microstructure was observed in the specimens sintered at 1040 °C for 1.0 h. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the KN ceramics were considerably influenced by the relative density. The KN ceramics sintered at 1020 °C for 6 h, which showed a large relative density that was 95% of the theoretical density, exhibited promising electrical properties: ɛT33/ɛo of 540, d33 of 109 pC/N, kp of 0.29, and Qm of 197.  相似文献

Dense Li/Ta-codoped KNN-based piezoceramics with d33* up to 375 pm/V were successfully fabricated by conventional sintering at a temperature as low as 900 °C by using LiF as a sintering additive. The reduction of densification temperature up to 200 °C was realized by a transient liquid phase sintering mechanism, consequently no grain boundary phase was observed in the sintered samples. It was found that the addition of LiF could further shift down the tetragonal–orthorhombic transition point (TT-O), indicating that a small amount of Li+ could diffuse into the A-site of KNN matrix. The introduction of LiF enhanced the linearity of strain curves of the ceramics, which is unambiguously in favor for the actuator application. The present work reveals that low-temperature sintered LiF-doped KNN-based piezoceramics demonstrates promising potential in multilayer-structured actuator applications.  相似文献

Systematic investigation on phase transition, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of (1-x)K0.5Na0.5Nb0.997Cu0.0075O3-xSrZrO3 (x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.09, 0.12, 0.15, abbreviated as KNNC-100xSZ) ceramics was carried out. Due to the coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phase in a wide temperature range, a diffused polymorphic phase transition (PPT) region was achieved in KNNC with x  0.06. KNNC-12SZ ceramics exhibited high dielectric permittivity (∼1679), low dielectric loss (∼0.02) and small variation (Δe'/ε'25 °C  15%) in dielectric permittivity from −78 °C to 237.3 °C. KNNC-6SZ ceramic possessed a high level of unipolar strain (∼0.15%) and maintained a smaller variation of ±12% under the corresponding electric field of 60 kV cm−1 at 10 Hz from 25 °C to 175 °C. d33*, which was calculated according to the unipolar strain at 60 kV cm−1, was 230 pm V−1 and remained stable below 100 °C. Therefore, our work provided a new promising candidate for temperature-insensitive capacitors and piezoelectric actuators.  相似文献

Pb(Mn1/3Nb2/3)O3–Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3–Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (designated as PMnN–PZN–PZT) piezoelectric ceramics were prepared and the effects of PMnN content on the crystal structure and electrical properties were investigated. The results show that the pure perovskite phase forms in these ceramics. The crystal structure changes from tetragonal to rhombohedral and the lattice constant decreases with increase of PMnN content. The morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) of xPMnN–(0.2 ? x)PZN–0.8PZT ceramics occurs where the content of PMnN, x, lies between 0.05 and 0.085 mol. The dielectric constant (?), piezoelectric constant (d33) and Curie temperature (Tc) decrease, while the mechanical quality factor (Qm) increases with the increase of PMnN content. The ceramic with composition 0.075PMnN–0.125PZN–0.8PZT has the optimal piezoelectric properties, ? is 842, d33 is 215 pC/N, Tc is 320 °C, kp is 0.57 and Qm amounts to 1020, which makes it a promising material for high power piezoelectric devices.  相似文献

(Li, Ce, and Nd)-multidoped CaBi2Nb2O9 (CBN) Aurivillius phase ceramics were prepared via a conventional solid-state sintering route. The crystal structure including bond lengths and bond angles, microstructure, dielectric constant, DC resistivity, and piezoelectric properties were systematically investigated. Rietveld-refinements of X-ray results indicated that small quantity of (Li, Ce, Nd) doping (< 2.5 mol%) increases orthorhombic distortion, because of the smaller ionic radii of doping ions. However, orthorhombic distortion obviously decreased with increasing (Li, Ce, Nd) doping concentration from 5 to 25 mol%. The replacement of asymmetric A-site Bi3+ with 6s2 lone pair electrons by symmetric Li+, Ce3+ and Nd3+ ions decreased the orthorhombic distortion. The morphologies and electrical properties of sintered ceramics were tailored by the introducing (Li, Ce, Nd) multi-dopants. The improvement of piezoelectric properties of modified-CBN ceramics were attributed to decreasing grain sizes and morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). Ca0.85(Li0.5Ce0.25Nd0.25)0.15Bi2Nb2O9 (CBNLCN-15) ceramics had optimum properties, and d33 and Tc values were found to be ~ 13.1 pC/N and ~ 900 °C, respectively.  相似文献

Lead-free relaxor ferroelectric ceramics (1?x)(K0.5Bi0.5)TiO3xBi(Ni0.5Ti0.5)O3 were prepared by a conventional solid-state route, the phase transition behavior and corresponding electrical properties were investigated. A typical morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) between rhombohedral and tetragonal ferroelectric phases was identified to be in the range of 0.05<x<0.07 where the optimum piezoelectric and electromechanical properties of d33=126 pC/N and kP=18% were achieved. Most importantly, a high Curie temperature ~320 °C, around which the material shows a typical relaxor ferroelectric behavior characterized by the presence of diffuse phase transition and frequency dispersion, was obtained in MPB compositions, significantly higher than those of some existing MPB lead-free titanate systems. These results demonstrate a tremendous potential of the studied system for device applications.  相似文献

In this report, the effects of the calcination temperature of (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 (KNN) powder on the sintering and piezoelectric properties of KNN ceramics have been investigated. KNN powders are synthesized via the solid-state approach. Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction characterizations indicate that the incomplete reaction at 700 °C and 750 °C calcination results in the compositional inhomogeneity of the K-rich and Na-rich phases while the orthorhombic single phase is obtained after calcination at 900 °C. During the sintering, the presence of the liquid K-rich phase due to the lower melting point has a significant impact on the densification, the abnormal grain growth and the deteriorated piezoelectric properties. From the standpoint of piezoelectric properties, the optimal calcination temperature obtained for KNN ceramics calcined at this temperature is determined to be 800 °C, with piezoelectric constant d33=128.3 pC/N, planar electromechanical coupling coefficient kp=32.2%, mechanical quality factor Qm=88, and dielectric loss tan δ=2.1%.  相似文献

(Na1/2Bi1/2)TiO3 doped in situ with 11 mol% BaTiO3 (NBT–BT0.11) powders were synthesized by a sol–gel method, and the electrical properties of the resulting ceramics were investigated. The powders consisting of uniform and fine preliminary particles of about 50 nm were prepared by calcining the gel precursor at 700 °C. (Na1/2Bi1/2)0.89Ba0.11TiO3 ceramics, sintered at temperatures up to 1150 °C have a rhombohedral symmetry, while the ceramic sintered at 1200 °C exhibits a tetragonal crystalline structure. The ceramics show high dielectric constant (?r  5456), dielectric loss of 0.02, depolarization temperature Td  110 °C and temperature corresponding to the maximum value of dielectric constant Tm  262 °C. The dielectric constant (?33) and the piezoelectric constant (d33) attain the maximum values of 924 and 13 pC/N, respectively, while the electromechanical coupling factor (kp) value is 0.035. The NBT–BT0.11 ceramics derived from sol–gel present high mechanical quality factor (Qm  860). The dielectric and piezoelectric properties values of NBT–BT0.11 ceramics derived from sol–gel are smaller than those of samples produced by the conventional solid state reaction method, due to the grains size and oxygen vacancies that generate dipolar defects.  相似文献
