0.96(K0.48Na0.52)NbO3-0.03[Bi0.5(Na0.7K0.2Li0.1)0.5]ZrO3-0.01(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 single crystals were grown for the first time by the solid state crystal growth method, using [001] or [110]-oriented KTaO3 seed crystals. The grown single crystal shows a dielectric constant of 2720 and polarization-electric field loops of a lossy normal ferroelectric, with Pr = 45 μC/cm2 and Ec = 14.9 kV/cm, while the polycrystalline samples with a dielectric constant of 828 were too leaky for P-E measurement due to humidity effects. The single crystal has orthorhombic symmetry at room temperature. Dielectric permittivity peaks at 26 °C and 311 °C, respectively, are attributed to rhombohedral-orthorhombic and tetragonal–cubic phase transitions. Additionally, Raman scattering shows the presence of an orthorhombic-tetragonal phase transition at ∼150 °C, which is not indicated in the permittivity curves but by the loss tangent anomalies. A transition around 700 °C in the high temperature dc conductivity is suggested to be a ferroelastic-paraelastic transition.  相似文献

Lead-free piezoelectric 0.992(0.95K0.5Na0.5NbO3–0.05LiSbO3)–0.008BiScO3; KNN-LS-BS ceramics were successfully prepared using the combustion method. The highest % perovskite phase was found in the sample calcined at 700 °C for 1 h. The structural phase of orthorhombic structure was also detected in this sample. For the sintered ceramics, a pure tetragonal perovskite phase was observed in the samples sintered between 1025 and 1100 °C. The microstructure of ceramics showed a square or rectangular shape and the average grain size increased with increasing of sintering temperature. The density of the ceramics increased with increasing of sintered temperature up to 1075 °C, were it reached 97.5% of theoretical density and then dropped in value when the sintered temperature further increased. The excellent electrical properties of εr at Tc=6600, tanδ at Tc=0.04, Pr (at 40 kV/cm)=19.4 μC/cm2 and Ec (at 40 kV/cm)=24.1 kV/cm were obtained in the most dense ceramic. The results indicate that the KNN-LS-BS ceramics are promising lead-free piezoelectric materials.  相似文献

Ceramics in the system (1-x)[0.5K0.5Bi0.5TiO3-0.5Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3]-xBi(Zn2/3Nb1/3)O3 have been fabricated by a solid-state processing route for compositions x≤0.3. The materials are relaxor dielectrics. The temperature of maximum relative permittivity, Tm, decreased from 150 °C for composition x=0, to 70 °C for x=0.2. The x=0.2 sample displayed a wide temperature range of stable relative permittivity, εr, such that εr=805±15% from −20 to 600 °C (1 kHz). Dielectric loss tangent was ≤0.02 from 50 °C to 450 °C (1 kHz), but due to the tanδ dispersion peak, the value increased to 0.09 as temperatures fell from 50 °C to −20 °C. Values of dc resistivity were of the order of ~109 Ω m at 300 °C. These properties are promising in the context of developing new high temperature capacitor materials.  相似文献

The effects of calcination temperature on the bulk density, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric properties were investigated for the Ag2O doped 0.94(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–0.06LiNbO3 ceramics. The calcination temperatures were varied from 750 to 950 °C by 50 °C differences. An tetragonal XRD pattern, consistent with single-phase 0.94(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–0.06LiNbO3 was obtained after calcination at 850 °C for 2 h. And the experimental results showed that Ag2O doped 0.94(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–0.06LiNbO3 ceramics calcined at 850 °C had a remnant polarization Pr=24.5 μC/cm2, bulk density=4.32 g/cm3, piezoelectric constant d33=282 pC/N and electromechanical coefficient kp=37.8%.  相似文献

Lead free ferroelectric ceramics near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) of KxNa1?x(NbO3)/KNN system (where x=0.48, 0.50, 0.52) were synthesized in the single perovskite phase by the partial co-precipitation synthesis route. The compositional dependences of phase, structure and electrical properties were studied in detail. X-ray diffraction (XRD) study revealed the coexistence of orthorhombic and monoclinic structures in K0.50N0.50NbO3. SEM characterization of the sintered KNN ceramics revealed dense and homogeneous packing of grains. Room temperature (RT) dielectric constant (εr) ~648, dielectric loss (tan δ) ~0.05 at 100 kHz, a relatively high density (ρ) ~4.49 g/cm3, remnant polarization (Pr) ~11.76 μC/cm2, coercive field (Ec) ~9.81 kV/cm, Curie temperature (Tc) ~372 °C and piezoelectric coefficient (d33) ~71 pC/N observed in K0.50N0.50NbO3 suggested that it can be an important lead free ferroelectric material.  相似文献

Lead free ferroelectric ceramics of the KNN–LiTaO3–LiSbO3 system were prepared using the mixed oxide route. This work reports the effect of doping (K0.44Na0.52Li0.04)(Nb0.86Ta0.1Sb0.04)O3 produced through the conventional solid state sintering method with different amounts of MnO2. With 1 mol% of the dopant, ~96.5% of the theoretical density of the ceramics was achieved while grain growth inhibition was attained through pinning of the grain boundary movement. A polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was induced in the ceramic from the orthorhombic crystal structure to the tetragonal structure with increasing dopant amount. At lower temperatures, the doped samples had higher epsilon values but there was a decrease in both Tc (from 333 °C to 249 °C) and epsilon value at Tc (from ≈9500 to <6000). At temperatures below 300 °C however, the loss tangent in the doped samples (≈2.5 mol%) was much lower and steady when compared to the undoped one. The ferroelectric properties were slightly lowered with the addition of MnO2. The remnant polarisation (Pr) was lowered from ~18 μC/cm2 to ~9 μC/cm2, the coercive field (Ec) from ~8.5 kV/cm to ~6.2 kV/cm and the piezoelectric charge coefficient (d33) decreased as well.  相似文献

Sodium bismuth titanate (BNT) nanopowder of molar composition 50/50 (Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3) was prepared by a sol-gel processing method. The structure and microstructure of the precursor gel as well as the ferroelectric, pyroelectric, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the BNT were studied. BNT crystallized in the rhombohedra perovskites structure Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 was obtained from the precursor gel by heating at 700 °C for 2 h in air. The BNT ceramic at 1100 °C sintering temperature present high crystallinity, good dielectric properties at 1 kHz (ε′=885, tan δ=0.03, Tc=370 °C), piezoelectric properties (k33=0.39, c33=105 GPa, e33=12.6 C/m2, d33=120 pC/N), high remnant polarization (Pr=47 μC/cm2) and pyroelectric coefficient (p=707 μC/m2 K) and low coercive field (Ec=55 kV/cm). Hence, the BNT prepared by sol-gel method could be used for silicon based memory device application where a low synthesis temperature is a key requirement.  相似文献

The effects of composition, sintering temperature and dwell time on the microstructure and electrical properties of (0.75 ? x)BiFeO3–0.25BaTiO3xBi0.5K0.5TiO3 + 1 mol% MnO2 ceramics were studied. The ceramics sintered at 1000 °C for 2 h possess a pure perovskite structure and a morphotropic phase boundary of rhombohedral and pseudocubic phases is formed at x = 0.025. The addition of Bi0.5K0.5TiO3 retards the grain growth and induces two dielectric anomalies at high temperatures (T1  450–550 °C and T2  700 °C, respectively). After the addition of 2.5 mol% Bi0.5K0.5TiO3, the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of the ceramics are improved and very high Curie temperature of 708 °C is obtained. Sintering temperature has an important influence on the microstructure and electrical properties of the ceramics. Critical sintering temperature is 970 °C. For the ceramic with x = 0.025 sintered at/above 970 °C, large grains, good densification, high resistivity and enhanced electrical properties are obtained. The weak dependences of microstructure and electrical properties on dwell time are observed for the ceramic with x = 0.025.  相似文献

Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, Sr1−x(K0.5Bi0.5)xBi2Nb2O9 (SKBN-x, x=0, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0), were synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction. Structural and electrical properties of SKBN-x ceramics were investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis suggested that the substitution led to the formation of a layered perovskite structure. Plate-like morphologies for the grains were clearly observed in all the samples, which are characteristic for layer-structure Aurivillius compounds. The Curie temperature (Tc) is found to shift to higher temperature from 445 °C to 509 °C with increasing (K, Bi) content. Excellent remanent polarization (2Pr∼15 μC/cm2) were obtained for SKBN-0.2 ceramic. High piezoelectric coefficient of d33∼21  pC/N were obtained for the samples at x=0.5. Additionally, thermal annealing studies indicated that the piezoelectric coefficient (d33) of SKBN-0.5 was unchanged even if annealing temperature increased to be 450 °C, demonstrating the ceramics are the promising candidates for high-temperature applications.  相似文献

Using the composite powders of (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3 (NKN) nano-particles and nano-rods as starting materials, the NKN single crystals were prepared by abnormal grain growth (AGG) method. The morphology evolution and the formation mechanism in the crystal growth process were investigated in detail. The results revealed that the average size and the apparent quantity of abnormal grains increased gradually with the increase of sintering temperature. The biggest NKN single crystals with size of about 3 mm were obtained at 950 °C for 2 h. Though the nano-particles and nano-rods have the same composition, the driving forces are distinctively different due to the diversity of grain morphology. The nano-rods have the large driving forces especially at high sintering temperature, which plays a dominant role in facilitating the formation of NKN single crystals during AGG process.  相似文献

Pure phase K4Zr5O12 is synthesized via solid state method in the present work. Various K/Zr ratios and temperatures are applied, and the synthesis process is investigated in detail by means of X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Its catalytic activity for soot oxidation is studied by temperature programmed oxidation with different types of soot/catalyst contacts. It is revealed that K4Zr5O12 is very active in the presence of 2–10% O2 for both tight and loose contacts (Tp(tight) = 335 °C, Tp(ethanol) = 355 °C and Tp(shaking) = 370 °C). Thermal stability study shows that K4Zr5O12 is highly stable up to at least 900 °C.  相似文献

(1?x?y)Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3xBi0.5K0.5TiO3yBiFeO3 (BNKFT-x/y with 0.12≤x≤0.24, 0≤y≤0.07) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics have been prepared by the combustion technique. The effects of amounts of x and y on structures and electrical properties were examined. Powders and ceramics can be well calcined and sintered at 750 °C for 2 h and 1025–1050 °C, respectively. The results indicated that the crystalline structure and microstructure changed with the increase of x and y concentrations. XRD results of BNKFT-x/0.03 and BNKFT-0.18/y ceramics with 0.12≤x≤0.24 and 0≤y≤0.07 showed the rhombohedral–tetragonal morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). The addition of y caused a promoted grain growth while the addition of x suppressed the grain growth. The highest density (ρ=5.85 g/cm3), superior dielectric properties at Tc (εr=7846 and tan δ=0.02), remnant polarization measured at 40 kV/cm (Pr = 20.1 μC/cm2) and piezoelectric coefficient (d33=213 pC/N) were obtained for x=0.18 and y=0.03.  相似文献

Dielectric properties of Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3xZn2P2O7 (x = 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 wt%) composite ceramics, which were prepared by solid-state reaction process, were intensively investigated. The results showed that the Curie temperature (Tc) of composites gradually shifted to lower temperature (?140 °C) with increasing the content of Zn2P2O7, and the dielectric constant were tuned effectively from 2020 to 107, while maintaining a relatively high tunability. Zn2P2O7 additions remarkably inhibited the grain growth of Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 phases, and improved the breakdown strength of samples up to 385 kV/cm. The sample with x = 10 wt% exhibited good dielectric properties (?r = 290, tg δ = 0.0006, T = 20.5%, BDS = 297 kV/cm). Meanwhile Zn2P2O7 addition also made the Tc far away from the room temperature, which reduced the sensitivity of the dielectric constant to temperature change and simultaneously improved the stability of materials.  相似文献

Low-fired ferroelectric glass ceramics were fabricated from glass powders with a basic composition of 0.65BaTiO3·0.27SiO2·0.08Al2O3. The combined addition of SnO2 (or ZrO2) and SrCO3 was conducted to modify the dielectric properties of the glass ceramics. The Sr-component could be incorporated preferentially in the perovskite structure after heating at 1000 °C. The bulk and thick film samples obtained by sintering glass powder with a starting composition of 0.65(Ba0.7Sr0.3)(Ti0.85Sn0.15)O3·0.27SiO2·0.08Al2O3 at 1000 °C for 24 h showed a broadened ɛrT relation with Tc  10 °C and ɛr(max)  280 and microwave tunability of 32% at 3 GHz, respectively.  相似文献

The present work investigated the influence of the composition induced structure evolution on the electrocaloric effect in lead-free (0.935−x)Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3–0.065BaTiO3xSrTiO3 (BNBST, BNBSTx) ceramics. It was found that broad ∆T peak could be observed for all compositions and the electrocaloric strength α (αTmaxE) in BNBST0.02 could reach as high as 0.27 K mm/kV. The increase of the SrTiO3 concentration led to a shift of ∆Tmax to a lower temperature, resulting in a large near room-temperature electrocaloric strength α of 0.17 K mm/kV in BNBST0.22.  相似文献

Ceramics in the solid solution series (1  x)BaTiO3–Bi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3 are single-phase tetragonal for compositions x  0.05, and cubic for x  0.1. Plots of relative permittivity (ɛr), versus temperature show double peaks for x = 0.03 and x = 0.05, changing to a single, frequency-dependent peak for compositions, x  0.1. A progressive decline in ɛr max with increasing x leads to near temperature-stable dielectric properties over a wide temperature range. For x = 0.3, ɛr = 570 ± 15%, from −20 °C to 430 °C, and tan δ  0.02 from 30 °C to 420 °C. For x = 0.4, ɛr = 600 ± 15% from 25 °C to 420 °C, and tan δ  0.02 from 55 °C to 280 °C (at 1 kHz). Values of dc resistivity were ∼109 Ω m at 250 °C and ∼106 Ω m at 400 °C. A piezoelectric strain of ∼0.25% (at 40 kV/cm) was recorded for composition x = 0.03.  相似文献

The sillimanite (Al2SiO5) mineral has been sintered by conventional ceramic route and by cold sintering methods. The mineral has very poor sinterability and transformed to mullite on sintering above 1525 °C. The dielectric properties of sillimanite mineral (Al2SiO5) are investigated at radio and microwave frequency ranges. The mineral sintered at 1525 °C has low εr of 4.71 and tanδ of 0.002 at 1 MHz and at microwave frequency εr = 4.43, Qu × f = 41,800 GHz with τf = −17 ppm/°C. The sintering aid used for cold sintering Al2SiO5 is sodium chloride (NaCl). The Al2SiO5NaCl composite was cold sintered at 120 °C. XRD analysis of the composite revealed that there is no additional phase apart from Al2SiO5 and NaCl. The densification of the Al2SiO5NaCl composite was confirmed by using microstructure analysis. The Al2SiO5NaCl composite has εr of 5.37 and tanδ of 0.005 at 1 MHz whereas at microwave frequency it has εr = 4.52, Qu × f = 22,350 GHz with τf = −24 ppm/°C. The cold sintered NaCl has εr = 5.2, Qu × f = 12,000 GHz with τf = −36 ppm/°C.  相似文献

Lead-free (1  x)BaTiO3xBi0.5Na0.5TiO3 (x = 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) ferroelectric ceramics were fabricated by the conventional ceramic technique. Sintering was made at 1200 °C for 2–4 h in air atmosphere. The crystal structure was investigated by X-ray diffraction. The dielectric and ferroelectric properties were also studied. Room temperature permittivity was found to decrease as Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 (BNT) content increases. Only the sample with 0.3 mol BNT was found to have relaxor behaviour. The Tc shifted slightly only for BNT addition lower than 0.1 mol. The highest Tc (about 150 °C) was obtained for 0.2 mol BNT addition. The remanent polarization, Pr, decreases whereas the coercive field, Ec, increases monotonously as the BNT content increases.  相似文献

Lead-free (1−x)(K0.37Na0.63)NbO3-xCa(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 (x=0.050, 0.070, 0.090, 0.095 and 0.100) transparent ferroelectric ceramics have been fabricated by pressureless sintering procedure. Transmittance of 0.91(K0.37Na0.63)NbO3-0.09Ca(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 ceramics sintered in sealed alumina crucible was 15% higher than those sintered unsealed in air. By increasing the content of Ca(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3, the phase structure of (K0.37Na0.63)NbO3 ceramics transformed from orthorhombic to tetragonal symmetry first and then to pseudo cubic symmetry. The 0.91(K0.37Na0.63)NbO3-0.09Ca(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 ceramics exhibited high density (98%), high transmittance (60%) in the near-IR region and relatively good electrical properties (εr=1914, tanδ=0.037, Tc=147 °C, Pr=6.88 μC/cm2, Ec=8.49 kV/cm). Meanwhile, the introduction of Ca(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 induced a composition fluctuation in the (K0.37Na0.63)NbO3 lattice and made the ceramics more relaxor-like, which would lead to a further reduction of light scattering. These results demonstrated that 0.91(K0.37Na0.63)NbO3-0.09Ca(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 could be promising lead-free transparent ferroelectric ceramics.  相似文献

(1?x)Bi0.51(Na0.82K0.18)0.50TiO3xBa0.85Ca0.15Ti0.90Zr0.10O3 [(1?x)BNKT–xBCTZ] ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid-state method, and the effect of BCTZ content on their microstructure and electrical properties was investigated. A stable solid solution with a pure perovskite phase is formed between BNKT and BCTZ, and these ceramics have a coexistence of rhombohedral and tetragonal phases in the range of 0  x < 0.15. Their Tm and Td values are strongly independent on the BCTZ content. Moreover, the sintering temperature strongly affects the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of these ceramics with x = 0.02. These ceramics with x = 0.02 exhibit an optimum electrical behavior of d33  205, kp  0.25, Pr  31.8 μC/cm2, and Ec  19.1 kV/cm together with a high Td value of ~91 °C when sintered at 1180 °C and poled at an optimum condition. As a result, the (1?x)BNKT–xBCTZ ceramic is a promising candidate material for lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.  相似文献
