杂质对Ti-55.8%Ni SMA低周弯曲疲劳性能的影响

真空感应熔炼时采用高纯氧化物坩埚及石墨坩埚, 保持其他控制参数不变, 得到名义成分为Ti-55.8%Ni的TiNi形状记忆合金铸锭, 经完全相同的加工工艺制备成Φ 1.5 mm的TiNi合金丝材. 用自制试验装置对所得TiNi合金丝材的室温低周弯曲疲劳性能进行评价. 研究发现, 使用氧化物坩埚熔炼所得材料的低周弯曲疲劳性能较使用石墨坩埚得到的材料有显著提高. 杂质成分分析及SEM形貌观察显示合金中第二相夹杂物有所减少, 这是其性能得到改善的主要原因. 采用随机安排对比试验结果的t检验方法可以判断, 氧化物坩埚使用中期所得到TiNi合金的疲劳性能较好. 认为坩埚的连续使用次数过多坩埚材料性能的恶化是造成周期疲劳变坏的主要原因.

电炉电极降耗机理及工艺研究

石墨电极是电炉炼钢和钢包精炼炉的主要加热部件,但电极消耗也是在炼钢过程中所不可避免的消耗材料.电极消耗成本是电弧炉炼钢的主要成本之一.针对近年来电弧炉炼钢居高不下的电极消耗量,相关领域的冶金炼钢专家对此做了深入分析研究,并取得了很好的效果,降低了电极的消耗.然而与国外先进炼钢生产水平的电极消耗相比仍有相当的差距.为此,针对这一现状对电炉电极消耗机理及国内外研究现状做了综合性的分析研究,旨在为电弧炉电极研究专家及工作人员的系统研究做详细的总结陈述,以便于电极的研究与生产.     

赤泥絮凝分离机理的研究进展

合成高分子絮凝剂在赤泥絮凝分离中有重要的应用,首先介绍了稀释矿浆的性质及絮凝剂的作用形式,然后对各种絮凝剂在氧化铝赤泥沉降分离中絮凝机理的研究现状进行了综述,并提出了氧化铝工业用絮凝剂的发展方向.     

浓缩-沉淀法制备铟锡氧化物(ITO)微米棒状粉末的试验研究

文章利用新颖的浓缩析出加煅烧工艺、制备了微米级ITO棒状粉末.借助X射线衍射(XRD)对棒状粉末进行了相结构研究;利用扫描电镜(SEM)对棒状粉末形貌进行了相关的表征;用能量分散谱仪(EDS)以及化学分析方法对粉末的化学成分进行了分析;利用热分析仪(TG-DTA,TG-DTG)对粉末的受热行为进行了相关的表征.结果表明:绝大部分ITO棒的直径位于2～9 μm,而且约95%的棒的长径比大于6;ITO棒中的Sn含量主要富集于表面,而且由棒的表面向核心区逐渐递减,这与Sn的引入方式有关;In(OH)3棒中应该存在含In的硝酸盐或亚硝酸盐;In(OH)3强烈的脱水发生在260～280 ℃,随后在更高的温度下形成ITO固溶体.     

黄金价格和石油价格的联动分析

黄金和石油的价格波动在大多数时候呈正向联动关系,虽然没有严格的数字比例关系,但是其波动趋势往往相同.这主要是因为影响黄金价格和石油价格波动的因素中,有一部分影响因素是相同的,如美元汇率、通货膨胀、主要石油生产国(特别是石油输出国组织)对黄金的运作以及国际上的重大政治事件.当这些相同的影响因素事件发生,特别是对国际市场产生重大影响时,石油价格和黄金价格的走势通常趋向一个方向;但是,出于各种各样的原因,也产生了数次背离.     

Gorillas (Gorilla gorilla) and Orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus) Encode Relevant Problem Features in a Tool-Using Task.

Two important elements in problem solving are the abilities to encode relevant task features and to combine multiple actions to achieve the goal. The authors investigated these 2 elements in a task in which gorillas (Gorilla gorilla) and orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus) had to use a tool to retrieve an out-of-reach reward. Subjects were able to select tools of an appropriate length to reach the reward even when the position of the reward and tools were not simultaneously visible. When presented with tools that were too short to retrieve the reward, subjects were more likely to refuse to use them than when tools were the appropriate length. Impact of Federal Environmental Requirements on Proposed Highway or Bridge Project

Prior to construction of a bridge or highway, the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) requires an evaluation of the effect of the project on the human environment. The purpose of NEPA is to require the head of the federal agency that is committing funds to the project to consider its actions before deciding to proceed with the project. This paper will analyze the general provisions of NEPA to remove some of the mystery related to the environmental concerns raised by bridge or highway projects and to emphasize to transportation planners that these concerns must be addressed prior to beginning a major bridge or highway project. The intent of this paper is to provide some guidance to transportation planners in light of these statutes as they begin the planning stages for highway and bridge projects.     

La relation père-enfant, la nature et l’organisation des relations d’attachement.

Faithfully following the tradition of Bowlby’s theoretical framework, until recently research in developmental psychology has more often confirmed the importance of attachment to mother than to father in their children’s development. Based on this statement, Paquette (2004) proposed a different theoretical model to account for the father’s specific role in children’s development. The purpose of this review of the literature is to examine results of studies including measures of attachment to mother and to father and to answer the questions raised by different theoretical models accounting for the organization of children’s attachment relationships, that is to say hierarchy in children’s attachment to mother and to father, correspondence between the quality of these two relationships and their influence on children’s development. Whether the attachment theoretical framework seems to partially account for the specificity and the complementarity of parental roles, results of the studies reviewed in this article underline the necessity to operationalize the activation dimension of attachment relationships (Paquette, 2004) in order to better understand how children’s attachment relationships to parents do develop and how they do organize themselves to influence children’s development. Review of Repairing your marriage after his affair: A woman’s guide to hope and healing.

Reviews the book, Repairing your marriage after his affair: A woman's guide to hope and healing by Marcella Bakur Weiner and Armand DiMele (1998). This book addresses the difficult task of reestablishing trust in the marriage after an affair and offers specific guidelines for discussions that aid the healing process. The authors recommend exercises that help the couple break down the barriers to intimacy and cultivate greater happiness in the marriage. They also include a chapter for handling children during this critical period and suggest ways to minimize the trauma to them. Their advice is sound and their suggestions for recovery quite practical and valuable to any woman struggling to come to terms with her partner's affair. The authors provide some helpful information to the woman contending with this problem and hoping to continue in the marriage. It is likely to appeal most to the woman reluctant to enter individual or couple therapy with her husband, yet needing some help in coping with the intense emotions at this confusing time; it can help her in deciding whether to leave or stay in the marriage. Modeling Residual Displacements of Concrete Bridge Columns under Earthquake Loads Using Fiber Elements

Nonlinear dynamic analysis with fiber-element models is now widely used to assess the seismic response of bridge structures. The ability of such models to accurately simulate response parameters for characterizing the postearthquake condition of bridges, namely residual displacements, is assessed by comparison of analyses of dynamically loaded reinforced concrete bridge columns to experimental data. The models are unable to capture residual displacements, and the cause of the inability to capture residual displacements is investigated through dynamic analysis of fiber-element and single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) models. A certain type of pinching present in the numerical hysteretic response shape is found to lead to poor residual displacement simulation both in the SDOF models and in fiber-element models. When eliminating this pinching, improvements to residual displacement simulation are found. A modified concrete constitutive model representing damage accumulation from cyclic loading is implemented for the fiber-element analysis that incorporates changes to reloading behavior when moving from high tensile strain back to compression. Analysis using the modified concrete constitutive model leads to improvements in the ability of the fiber-element model to capture residual displacements.     

Probability of Project Completion Using Stochastic Project Scheduling Simulation

This paper introduces a software, Stochastic Project Scheduling Simulation (SPSS), developed to measure the probability to complete a project in a certain time specified by the user. To deliver a project by a completion date committed to in a contract, a number of activities need to be carried out. The time that an entire project takes to complete and the activities that determine total project duration are always questionable because of the randomness and stochastic nature of the activities’ durations. Predicting a project completion probability is valuable, particularly at the time of bidding. The SPSS finds the longest path in a network and runs the network a number of times specified by the user and calculates the stochastic probability to complete the project in the specified time. The SPSS can be used by a contractor: (1) to predict the probability to deliver the project in a given time frame and (2) to assess its capabilities to meet the contractual requirement before bidding. The SPSS can also be used by a construction owner to quantify and analyze the risks involved in the schedule. The benefits of the tool to researchers are: (1) to solve program evaluation and review technique problems; (2) to complement Monte Carlo simulation by applying the concept of project network modeling and scheduling with probabilistic and stochastic activities via a web based Java Simulation which is operateable over the Internet, and (3) to open a way to compare a project network having different distribution functions.     

Psychotherapy and Magic.

Discusses the extent to which the practice of psychotherapy places stress upon its practitioners similar to those experienced by the native fisherman of the Trobriand society, and the extent to which such stresses give rise to magical thinking. The observations in this article are based on a study of Trobriad society by Malinowski (in J. Needham's Science, Religion, and Reality). The author concludes that the ideal temperament for the psychotherapist if he is to behave rationally in his work involves the ability to reject the magic which the uncertainties of his task and the demands of his patients throw upon him; to be flexible enough to change his views when the need is clearly indicated, but not to be a weathervane; and to be happy enough in his personal, extratherapeutic life to accept failures as part of the day's work. Rapid Bridge Replacement under Emergency Situation: Case Study

The terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, and subsequent potential threats to the United States transportation systems have presented an urgent need to elevate the security of the transportation infrastructure and to develop emergency response plans to quickly react to the possible consequences of an extreme event. Highway bridges, as critical components of the nation’s transportation network, have been brought to closer attention by government agencies. A research project was conducted to identify strategies and technologies to restore the use of a damaged bridge quickly. One of the tasks associated with the research was to perform several case studies of previous bridge replacements following extreme events. These events include explosion and fire caused by vehicle impact, vessel collision with a bridge, and damage caused by flood and earthquake. By studying the cases, the research team seeks to identify and expand on lessons learned and address which actions did and did not work well given the circumstances of the incident. These lessons have great value to the people who need to develop and implement an emergency response plan.

APA is in very good shape financially as a result of procedures and attitudes within the Council of Representatives and elsewhere in the Association's governance. We are able to maintain a balanced budget and to enjoy surpluses--though we can be certain that this will not continue forever--and at the same time to be reasonably solicitous of personal and social needs of the disadvantaged in our midst. At a time when the federal government finds it necessary to abandon or drastically cut programs to help the voiceless and other victims of our society, it is heartening to note that in our small way we psychologists are able to walk both sides of the street, that is, to help those who need our help, but to do so without imperiling our financial solvency. Despite spiraling inflation, the Association continues to produce a surplus from operations, as mandated by the Council of Representatives, while being responsive to the needs of the membership in a swiftly changing environment. In addition to the goal of building our reserves, we are dedicated to the continuation of all existing APA programs in our constant attempts to advance psychology as a science and profession and as a means of promoting human welfare.
