利用氩弧熔覆技术在TC4合金表面制备出TiC增强的Ti基复合涂层。利用SEM、XRD和EDS分析了熔覆涂层的显微组织;利用显微硬度仪测试了复合涂层的显微硬度;利用摩擦磨损试验机测试了涂层在室温干滑动磨损条件下的耐磨性能。结果表明:氩弧熔覆涂层组织均匀致密,熔覆层与基体呈冶金结合,涂层中有大量的TiC树枝晶和条块状TiC颗粒;复合涂层明显改善了TC4合金的表面硬度,HV平均硬度可达9GPa;复合涂层室温干滑动磨损机制为磨粒磨损和轻微粘着磨损。  相似文献

Ni-W-TiC composite coatings were prepared via electrodeposition technique by dispersing the different amount of TiC particles into the plating bath.The Ni-W and Ni-W-TiC composite coatings containing different concentrations of TiC particles were characterized by using the scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction technique,Vickers microhardness test,surface roughness test,and tribology test.The results show that the Ni-W coatings containing reinforced TiC particles have shown a typical FCC Ni-W crystal structure with significantly higher Vickers microhardness.The amount of dispersed TiC particles into the plating bath considerably affected codeposition weight percent of TiC into the Ni-W matrix,as revealed by the EDS analysis.Ni-W-TiC samples demonstrated the decreased abrasive wear as compared to Ni-W coating and no characteristic features observed for the adhesive wear.Similarly,an improvement in coefficient of friction was observed in Ni-W-TiC composite coating as compared to Ni-W coating.  相似文献

采用电弧喷涂含TiC陶瓷粉末的粉芯丝材,在低碳钢基体上制备了铁基复合涂层。用MLS-225型湿砂橡胶轮磨损试验机测试了涂层的抗磨粒磨损性能。利用光学显微镜、SEM、XRD分析技术对涂层的显微组织结构、磨损表面和相组成进了研究。结果表明:采用电弧喷涂工艺可制备含TiC陶瓷硬质相的复合涂层,在铁基体上弥散分布着一定量的TiC硬质颗粒,使整个涂层得到强化,涂层显微硬度平均值约为1137HV0.1,涂层的抗磨粒磨损性能较好,相对Q235钢提高T6倍。涂层磨损机制主要为犁沟切削和脆性断裂。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this study, WC reinforced Ni-based composite coatings with Y2O3 addition were deposited on Ti-6Al-4V titanium substrate by laser cladding. The phases, microstructure, microhardness and wear resistance of the composite coatings were studied by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, microhardness tester and wear tester. The results showed that good metallurgical bonding was achieved between the composite coatings and substrate. The phases mainly were γ-Ni, TiC, TiB2, Ni3B, M23C6 and WC. Most of the WC was dissolved in small pieces of WC during the laser cladding process. The microhardness of the composite coatings was about 3 times that of the titanium substrate and the wear resistance of the composite coatings had a significant increase.  相似文献

通过在激光熔覆NiCrBSi涂层(Ni60)中添加钽(Ta)元素来提高900℃热处理后涂层的耐磨性.研究了900℃热处理对激光熔覆NiCrBSi和钽强化NiCrBSi复合涂层显微组织、硬度以及耐磨性能的影响.利用带能谱仪的扫描电镜和衍射仪分析涂层的显微组织和物相.通过盘-销实验评价涂层的耐磨性.结果表明:经过900℃热处理后涂层中的M7C3和M23C6发生了分解,钽强化复合涂层和纯NiCrBSi涂层中的硬度都有所下降,但由于复合涂层中原位生成的TaC未发生分解,使得其硬度和耐磨性都高于纯NiCrBSi涂层.  相似文献

运用等离子喷涂技术制备了TiC颗粒增强镍基合金复合涂层,分析了TiC颗粒增强镍基合金复合涂层的微观结构,研究了其摩擦磨损行为与机理。结果表明:TiC颗粒增强镍基合金复合涂层主要由γ-Ni,CrB,Cr7C3和TiC构成;复合涂层与基底材料间形成了厚度为9.4μm的过渡层,达到了冶金结合。当TiC颗粒含量为30%(体积分数)时,复合涂层的摩擦系数和磨损率均最低,即其摩擦系数为0.33,较纯镍基合金涂层降低了30%;其磨损率为0.3×10-3mm3/m,是纯镍基合金涂层的1/3。当载荷在6~10N的范围内时,复合涂层呈轻微磨损,其磨损机理主要为粘着磨损;当载荷达到12N时,复合涂层产生严重磨损,其磨损机制转变为硬质相的脱落和转移层的层脱剥落。  相似文献

为了提高钛合金的摩擦学性能,采用激光熔覆技术在Ti-6Al-4V合金表面制备了γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC与γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC/CaF2复合涂层. 采用 X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)分析了涂层的物相和显微组织,在球-盘式高温摩擦磨损试验机上测试了不同温度下(室温,300 ℃,600 ℃)复合涂层的摩擦学性能. 结果表明,激光熔覆的复合涂层与基体呈冶金结合,γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC/CaF2复合涂层主要由"原位"生成的小块状,针状TiC颗粒及TiC树枝晶,γ-NiCrAlTi固溶体基体及弥散分布的球状CaF2颗粒组成. 由于硬质增强相 TiC与增韧相γ-NiCrAlTi的共同作用,γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC与γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC/CaF2复合涂层的磨损率在试验温度下都远低于Ti-6Al-4V基体;在600 ℃时,γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC/CaF2涂层的平均摩擦系数为0.21,相对于基体与γ-NiCrAlTi/TiC涂层分别降低了43%,50%,表现出良好的高温自润滑减摩性能.  相似文献

利用激光熔覆技术在1Cr18Ni9Ti奥氏体不锈钢表面制得了以TiC为增强相、以FeAl 金属间化合物为基体的耐磨复合材料涂层,研究了激光熔覆。FiC/FeAl复合材料涂层在干滑动磨损条件下的耐磨性能及磨损机制。结果表明:随着载荷和滑动速率的增加,TiC/FeAl金属间化合物基复合材料涂层的磨损速率增加,其磨损机制随着载荷的增加逐渐由磨料磨损向粘着磨损转变;激光熔覆层中TiC体积分数的增加,一方面提高了涂层的磨料磨损抗力,另一方面降低了熔覆层表面与对磨材料之间的粘着倾向,提高了TiC/FeAl涂层的滑动磨损性能。激光熔覆TiC/FeAl金属间化合物基复合材料涂层具有优异的耐磨性能并随TiC体积分数的增加而提高。  相似文献

采用B4C,TiO2,石墨以及铁基粉末为激光熔覆材料,利用激光多道搭接熔覆技术在碳钢基体上制备TiB2-TiC颗粒增强铁基复合涂层.利用XRD,SEM对涂层的相结构和显微组织进行了研究.采用显微硬度计和滑动磨损试验机分别测试了涂层的硬度和耐磨性能.结果表明,激光熔覆过程B4C,TiO2和石墨反应生成了TiB2和TiC颗粒,并均匀分布在基体中.随着激光功率密度增加,涂层中TiC含量减少,甚至出现FeB脆性相.TiB2-TiC颗粒增强的涂层其硬度和耐磨性能优于基材45钢.  相似文献

In this paper, in situ synthesized TiC particles reinforced Fe-based surface composite coatings by multi-pass overlapping gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) melting process employing a proper amount of graphite and ferrotitanium (FeTi) on AISI 1020 steel substrate was produced. The microstructure and wear properties of the composite coatings were investigated by means of an electron microprobe microanalysis (EPMA), X-ray diffractometer and wear tester. The results showed that the multi-pass overlapping GTAW melting surface composite coatings can be obtained under suitable welding parameters, and no crack and porosity are found in the tracks. The X-ray and EPMA results confirm that TiC particles can be formed via reaction of FeTi and graphite during multi-pass overlapping GTAW melting process. TiC particles present cubic and dendrite shape in the non-overlapping zone. It is found that there occurred TiC particles coarsening at the overlap regions, which can lead to detrimental effects on the hardness and wear performance. Composite coatings give a high hardness and excellent wear resistance; and the wear friction coefficient of the coating is less than that of the 1020 steel. As a result, multi-pass overlapping GTAW melting process can be used effectively for producing surface composite coatings with a pre-placed powder to improve wear resistance of the AISI 1020 steel.  相似文献

目的提高TA2钛合金的耐磨减摩性能,并研究添加WS_2对激光熔覆Ti/TiC耐磨复合涂层的影响。方法以Ti+TiC和Ti+TiC+WS_2两种复合粉末为预置原料,采用激光熔覆技术在TA2合金表面制备出两类复合涂层,并采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)、硬度计和摩擦磨损试验机,系统地分析了添加WS_2前后涂层的物相、组织、显微硬度及摩擦学性能。结果 Ti+TiC复合粉末的激光熔覆涂层的主要物相包含α-Ti和TiC,涂层的显微硬度为1162HV0.5。WS_2添加后,涂层中生成了新增强相(Ti,W)C_(1-x)及自润滑相Ti2SC和少量的TiS,涂层的显微硬度为1052.3HV0.5,约为TA2基体(180HV0.5)的5倍;此外,涂层的磨损率由未添加WS_2时的5.38×10~(-5) mm~3/(N·m)上升到15.98×10-5 mm~3/(N·m),耐磨性能有所下降但仍远低于基体(磨损率为66.63×10~(-5)mm~3/(N·m)),同时摩擦系数显著下降,由之前的0.49下降到0.34;同时,Si_3N_4对磨球磨损表面光滑,没有明显塑性变形,其磨损机理为轻微的塑性变形和粘着磨损。结论添加WS_2的复合涂层相对于基体依然具有良好的耐磨性能,同时由于新生的自润滑相Ti_2SC、TiS的润滑效果,涂层表现出良好的自润滑耐磨性能。  相似文献

NiCrBSi/50 wt.% WC composite coatings were produced on carbon steel via laser cladding (LC) and laser induction hybrid cladding (LIHC). The microstructure and phase constituents of the composite coatings before dry sliding wear and the wear behavior were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Under the same laser processing parameters, the cladding height during LC was much higher than that during LIHC, whereas the dilution, cladding width, heat-affected-zone (HAZ) and efficiency of powder utilization during LC were much smaller than those during LIHC. Additionally, WC particles suffered from more severe heat damage during LIHC compared with those during LC, resulting in the precipitation of herringbone, dendritic and blocky carbides and inhomogeneous distribution of WC particles in the composite coating. However, the increase of the laser scanning speed during LIHC decreased the heat damage of WC particles, improved the homogenous distribution of WC particles and further increased the microhardness of the binder metal, which in turn led to an increase in the wear resistance of the composite coating.  相似文献

以Al粉、Ti粉和C粉为原料,利用氩弧熔敷技术,在ZL104合金表面原位合成了TiC增强Al基复合材料层,借助扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪对复合涂层的组织进行了分析;利用显微硬度计、摩擦磨损试验机对复合涂层性能进行了测试。结果表明,氩弧熔敷过程中可以充分反应合成TiC颗粒;TiC颗粒呈球状分布,颗粒尺寸约为1.5μm,均弥散分布于熔敷层中。熔敷层与基体呈冶金结合,无裂纹、气孔等缺陷;复合涂层的显微硬度可达660 HV0.2,涂层耐磨性较基体提高近7倍。  相似文献

Titanium metal matrix composite coatings (MMC) are considered to be important candidates for high wear resistance applications. Laser cladding (LC) by coaxial powder feeding is an advanced coating manufacturing process, which involves laser processing fine powders into components directly from computer aided design (CAD) model.In this study, the LC process was employed to fabricate TiC particle reinforced Ti6Al4V MMC coatings on Ti6Al4V hot rolled samples.The experimental results show that during LC process, TiC particles are partially dissolved into melted Ti-base alloy and precipitated in the form of TiC dendrites during cooling.Dry sliding wear properties of these MMC layers have been compared with substrate materials wear. The observed wear mechanisms are summarized and related to detailed microstructural observations. The layers have been found to show improved tribological properties connected with the TiCp addition and the LC process parameters.  相似文献

A direct conversion of TiO2 into TiC during plasma transferred arc deposition is a cheap and novel approach to produce wear resistant coatings. The present study explored the use of a low cost titanium ore as precursor for titanium carbide in metal matrix composite overlays. The deposited layers were characterized using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction and microhardness testing. A carbothermic reduction of the titanium oxides took place during the deposition of the coating by plasma transferred arc. The overlays produced in this way consisted of fine titanium carbides evenly dispersed in an iron matrix. The opportunities and limitations of this approach are discussed.  相似文献

Wear resistant TiC reinforced Ti–Ni–Si intermetallic composite coating with a microstructure consisting of TiC uniformly distributed in Ti2Ni3Si–NiTi–Ti2Ni multi-phase intermetallic matrix was fabricated on a substrate of TA15 titanium alloy by the laser cladding process using TiC/Ti–Ni–Si alloy powders as the precursor materials. Microstructure of the coating was characterized by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). Dry sliding wear resistance of the laser clad TiC reinforced Ti–Ni–Si intermetallic composite coating was evaluated at room temperature. Results indicated that the TiC/(Ti2Ni3Si–NiTi–Ti2Ni) intermetallic composite coating exhibited excellent abrasive and adhesive wear resistance.  相似文献

FeAl intermetallic matrix composites reinforced by ceramic particles such as titanium carbide have attracted much attention in recent years. In this study, shrouded plasma spraying with nitrogen as a protective gas was employed to deposit FeAl/TiC composite coatings. Fe-35Al powder and Fe-35Al/TiC composite powders containing 35 and 45?vol.% TiC prepared by mechanical alloying were used as feedstock powders. The microstructures of the ball-milled powders and the as-sprayed coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction. The mean coefficients of thermal expansion (CTEs) of FeAl and FeAl/TiC were measured. The results showed that dense FeAl and FeAl/TiC coatings with low oxide inclusions were deposited by shrouded plasma spraying. The mean CTEs measured in the present study were reasonably consistent with those calculated based on the formula. As a result, the mean CTE of FeAl-based composite coating can be properly controlled by adjusting TiC content in the composite coating to match with those of different substrate materials.  相似文献

目的研究氩弧熔覆条件下TiC颗粒增强Fe基涂层的组织和性能。方法在Fe45自熔性合金粉末中添加TiC颗粒,利用氩弧熔覆技术在Q235钢基材表面制备出含TiC颗粒增强的Fe基合金复合涂层,并对熔覆层的显微组织结构、硬度分布及耐磨性能进行分析研究。结果复合涂层是由(Fe,Ni)形成的枝晶和枝晶间的(Fe,Cr)23(C,B)6,Fe3(C,B)共晶组织以及TiC增强颗粒组成,TiC颗粒细小弥散分布在基体金属内,部分TiC颗粒聚集生长为棒状、十字状和放射状。结论熔覆层的显微硬度最高可达980HV,较Q235钢提高了4倍,耐磨性提高了约11倍。  相似文献

TiC reinforced Inconel 825 alloy matrix composite coating with different weight percentage (20, 40, and 60) of TiC has been produced by TIG cladding process. With the increase in TiC percentage in the produced coating a drastic alteration in the coating morphology perceived predominantly due to the degree of melting of pre-deposited TiC particles. The sliding abrasive wear measured through the height loss of the coated pin extracted from the TiC-Inconel825 composite coatings executed against alumina abrasive wheel show the effect of TiC percentage as well as the sliding velocity during the test. The worn surfaces characterized by SEM suggested that the abrasion wear is predominant for removal of the coating along with delamination through oxidation. The coefficient of friction of the coating assessed against harden steel plate (HRC58) indicated a gradual reduction from 0.71 to 0.60 with the increase in TiC content in the TiC-Inconel825 composite coating.  相似文献
