It is verified experimentally and theoretically that highly reflective out-of-band characteristics are inherent in the usual stripline circulator, and follow a certain regularity. It is then described how a small-sized additional network to the circulator can improve its out-of-band characteristics. In this paper, we study the effects of carrier transport and carrier capture on the linearity of the light-current characteristics of a semiconductor laser using an analytically solvable model. We include various physical processes within the model and study how they affect laser linearity. In order to explicitly reveal the relationship between system frequency response functions and model parameters which define system nonlinearities, and consequently unveil a direct connection from model parameters to system frequency response characteristics, a parametric characteristic analysis approach is proposed for Volterra systems described by a nonlinear differential equation (NDE). The parametric characteristics of the generalized frequency response functions (GFRFs) for the NDE model are established, and some important properties are discussed, which can explicitly reveal what model parameters contribute and how these parameters affect the GFRFs. Based on the parametric characteristic analysis, it is demonstrated how the system frequency domain characteristics are related to the system time domain model parameters and how the output frequency response function can now be determined explicitly with a detailed polynomial structure. These new results provide a significant and novel insight into the analysis and design of nonlinear systems in the frequency domain. Several examples are included to illustrate the results.  相似文献

The autocorrelation of a Boolean function possesses the capability to reflect such characteristics as linear structure, Strict Avalanche Criterion(SAC) and Propagation Criterion(PC) of degree k. But it can do nothing in determining the order of SAC or PC. A calculating table for the autocorrelation is constructed in this paper so as to show what is beyond the autocorrelation and how the three cryptographic characteristics are exhibited. A deeper study on the calculating table in a similar way has helped us to develop a new concept, named as the general autocorrelation, to address efficiently the problem how to determine the orders of SAC and PC. The application on the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES) shows the SAC and PC characteristicsof Boolean functions of AES S-box.  相似文献

Floquet's theorem for three dimensions is proved for each of the two mathematical conditions of periodicity: the differential equation and the boundary condition. The theorem applied to circular waveguides with screw periodicity provides the dispersion characteristics of the uncoupled modes. These characteristics are compared to those of a normal circular waveguide to show how screw periodic RF structures shift in phase the waveguide cutoff point and how such a shift is advantageous to gyrotron backward-wave oscillators.

Focuses on how to determine a set of parameters describing cell arrival stream characteristics and how to evaluate the accuracy of these measurements. Since a cell arrival stream is both correlated and bursty, the autocorrelation characteristics between the number of arriving cells in two adjacent intervals are analyzed, and then the time interval is determined for which the autocorrelation may be neglected. It is also shown that this set of parameters can represent the first and approximately second moment statistics during any interval. A method of estimating cell loss probability through the use of a queuing model that has an input process is presented.
