以Si粉为烧结助剂,SiC颗粒为增强剂,采用真空热压烧结工艺制备了SiCp/B4C陶瓷基复合材料。研究了SiCp对复合材料力学性能的影响。借助X射线衍射、扫描电镜等分析了复合材料的物相组成和微观结构。研究表明:添加的SiCp中粒径小的颗粒被包裹在主晶相中,粒径较大的颗粒分布在晶界上,形成"晶内-晶间"混合型复合陶瓷。当SiCp含量为4wt.%时,复合材料的弯曲强度和断裂韧性分别达到431MPa和5.41MPa.m1/2。复合材料力学性能的提高主要是由于残余应力引起的晶界强化以及断裂方式的转变。  相似文献

以Cu包裹SiC颗粒为增强体,分别采用真空热压烧结和常压氩气气氛保护烧结方式制备含5%(体积分数)SiC颗粒的SiC/Cu-Al复合材料.研究了不同烧结温度对样品密度、Vickers硬度和弯曲强度的影响.采用X射线衍射、扫描电镜对样品的晶相组成和结构进行了测定.结果表明:热压制品相对常压烧结制品的晶相组织均匀,晶粒细小.热压烧结可以大大提高SiC/Cu-A1复合材料的致密度,最高达到理论密度的99.9%.热压烧结的制品的硬度得到提高,550℃热压烧结的制品硬度最高可达到65MPa,575℃烧结时,其最大抗弯强度为190MPa,断裂机制主要是增强的颗粒断裂和基体撕裂.  相似文献

采用真空热压烧结工艺,在2150℃及30 MPa压制压力条件下,保温30 min制备了石墨烯/B4 C陶瓷基复合材料.采用拉曼光谱仪、X射线衍射仪和扫描电镜分析了复合材料的物相组成和显微结构,通过测量陶瓷的相对密度、硬度和弯曲强度,研究了氧化石墨烯添加量对B4C烧结行为和力学性能的影响.结果 表明:复合材料的相对密度随着石墨烯含量的增加先增加而后降低.当氧化石墨烯含量为3.0wt%时,复合材料的力学性能达到最大值,其抗弯强度为547 MPa,断裂韧性为4.50 MPa·m1/2,裂纹偏转以及石墨烯拔出是材料力学性能提升的原因;与此同时,该复合材料的电导率达到1.0 S/m以上,达到了电加工所需的电导率水平.  相似文献

以B4C与Si3N4和少量SiC,TiC为原料,Al2O3和Y2O3为烧结助剂,烧结温度为1 800~1 880℃,压力为30 MPa的热压条件下制备(SiC,TiB2)/B4C复合材料.用透射电子显微镜、扫描电子显微镜和能谱分析进行显微结构分析.结果表明:在烧结过程中反应生成了SiC,TiB2和少量的BN.复合材料的主晶相之间有长棒状架构弥散相和束状弥散相,在部分B4C晶粒内部出现了内晶结构.结合对复合材料性能的分析表明:新形成相、均匀细晶和棒状结构对提高材料的性能具有重要作用.通过对材料断口形貌和裂纹扩展模式分析认为,复合材料的断裂机制主要为裂纹偏转.  相似文献

B4C/Al复合材料因其优异的性能,受到了人们广泛关注.以Al粉和B4C粉体为原料,采用真空热压烧结法,在高于Al熔点温度时,制备出了碳化硼含量10wt%的铝基复合材料.研究结果表明:烧结温度为700 ℃,烧结压力为30 MPa,保温时间为45 min时,获得的B4C/Al复合材料力学性能最佳,其相对密度为98.2%,硬度为2.53 GPa,抗弯强度为350 MPa.球磨混料使Al颗粒表面生成少量Al2O3,在烧结过程中,Al2O3与B2O3发生固-液反应形成共融物,改善了B4C/Al之间的界面结合强度,从而获得力学性能优异的B4C/Al复合材料.  相似文献

采用真空热压法制备了体积分数为20%的界面非晶相Si O2–B2O3–Na2O的Si C/Cu[V(SiC):V(Cu)=35:65]复合材料。烧结温度为650、700、750、800℃,保温时间为0.5 h。利用X射线衍射和扫描电子显微镜对烧结样品的组成及形貌进行了表征。采用了Archimedes原理及显微硬度仪测量了烧结样品的气孔率和硬度。结果表明:添加非晶相的SiC/Cu复合材料的致密化烧结温度降低了200℃,样品的气孔率降低至0.2%;硬度提高了64%,达到了2.3 GPa。研究发现,非晶相修饰界面并起到了"粘结剂"的作用,提高了SiC/Cu界面润湿性,改善了微观结构的均匀性。  相似文献

以Ti,Si和C粉为主要原料,利用高能球磨及热压烧结制备了SiC/Ti3SiC2复相陶瓷。研究了工艺条件尤其是烧结温度和压力对合成产物相组成、微观结构及性能的影响,并结合X射线衍射、扫描电镜等检测结果探讨了Ti-Si-C体系反应合成机理。结果表明:通过高能球磨18h,在25MP和1300oC热压,可得到均匀、致密的SiC/Ti3SiC2复相陶瓷材料。Si含量对SiC/Ti3SiC2材料的相组成及性能有较大影响。起始原料中的Ti,Si,C和Al的质量比为3:1.2:2:0.2时,材料性能提高明显,其弯曲强度、断裂韧性、密度和相对密度分别为526.65MPa,8.67MPa·m1/2,4.058g/cm3,89.78%。显微结构的观察表明,SiC/Ti3SiC2复合材料的断裂具有沿晶和穿晶混合断裂特征。SiC颗粒增韧抑制了微裂纹在Ti3SiC基体中的扩展。  相似文献

以Si作为主要烧结助剂,采用热压烧结法制备了短切碳纤维-碳化硅(short carbon fiber reinforced SiC composite,Csf/SiC)复合材料.采用X射线衍射仪、扫描电镜、硬度仪以及力学性能试验机等,研究了Csf含量对所制备材料的结构、组成、形貌及复合材料的弯曲强度、Vickers硬度和断裂韧性的影响.结果表明:采用热压法能制备出致密且Csf分布均匀的Csf/SiC复合材料.Csf/SiC复合材料的弯曲强度随Csf含量增加先增大后减小,含15%(体积分数,下同)Csf的Csf/SiC样品强度最高,达到466MPa,并且Csf含量小于30%的Csf/SiC样品强度高于无纤维SiC材料.材料的Vickers硬度随Csf含量增加而降低.Csf/SiC样品的断裂韧性随Csf含量增加而逐渐增大,Csf含量为53%时,达到最大为5.5MPa·m1/2,与无纤维SiC样品相比,增加近2倍.  相似文献

采用硅作为熔渗剂,利用真空反应烧结的工艺,在1600℃烧结制得了结构致密、密度低的碳化硅-氮化铝(SiC/AlN)复合材料,分析测试了所制得的复合材料的物相、微观结构和力学性能.结果表明,氮化铝的添加量由2wt%增加到10wt%时,复合材料的力学性能出现先增加后减小的趋势,当AlN含量为6wt%时,得到复合材料的力学性能最高,其抗弯强度为256 MPa,显微硬度为2660 HV.加入AlN后,复合材料的孔隙率略微有点上升,烧结体的密度在2.95 ~3.01 g/cm3之间.复合材料的主要组成相为SiC、AlN和Si.  相似文献

Despite its industrial importance, the subject of freeze-thaw (F/T) stability of latex coatings has not been studied extensively. There is also a lack of fundamental understanding about the process and the mechanisms through which a coating becomes destabilized. High pressure (2100 bar) freezing fixes the state of water-suspended particles of polymer binder and inorganic pigments without the growth of ice crystals during freezing that produce artifacts in direct imaging scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of fracture surfaces of frozen coatings. We show that by incorporating copolymerizable functional monomers, it is possible to achieve F/T stability in polymer latexes and in low-VOC paints, as judged by the microstructures revealed by the cryogenic SEM technique. Particle coalescence as well as pigment segregation in F/T unstable systems are visualized. In order to achieve F/T stability in paints, latex particles must not flocculate and should provide protection to inorganic pigment and extender particles. Because of the unique capabilities of the cryogenic SEM, we are able to separate the effects of freezing and thawing, and study the influence of the rate of freezing and thawing on F/T stability. Destabilization can be caused by either freezing or thawing. A slow freezing process is more detrimental to F/T stability than a fast freezing process; the latter actually preserves suspension stability during freezing. In 2002–2004, we examined the flight responses of 49 species of native and exotic bark and ambrosia beetles (Coleoptera: Scolytidae and Platypodidae) to traps baited with ethanol and/or (−)-α-pinene in the southeastern US. Eight field trials were conducted in mature pine stands in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Funnel traps baited with ethanol lures (release rate, about 0.6 g/day at 25–28°C) were attractive to ten species of ambrosia beetles (Ambrosiodmus tachygraphus, Anisandrus sayi, Dryoxylon onoharaensum, Monarthrum mali, Xyleborinus saxesenii, Xyleborus affinis, Xyleborus ferrugineus, Xylosandrus compactus, Xylosandrus crassiusculus, and Xylosandrus germanus) and two species of bark beetles (Cryptocarenus heveae and Hypothenemus sp.). Traps baited with (−)-α-pinene lures (release rate, 2–6 g/day at 25–28°C) were attractive to five bark beetle species (Dendroctonus terebrans, Hylastes porculus, Hylastes salebrosus, Hylastes tenuis, and Ips grandicollis) and one platypodid ambrosia beetle species (Myoplatypus flavicornis). Ethanol enhanced responses of some species (Xyleborus pubescens, H. porculus, H. salebrosus, H. tenuis, and Pityophthorus cariniceps) to traps baited with (−)-α-pinene in some locations. (−)-α-Pinene interrupted the response of some ambrosia beetle species to traps baited with ethanol, but only the response of D. onoharaensum was interrupted consistently at most locations. Of 23 species of ambrosia beetles captured in our field trials, nine were exotic and accounted for 70–97% of total catches of ambrosia beetles. Our results provide support for the continued use of separate traps baited with ethanol alone and ethanol with (−)-α-pinene to detect and monitor common bark and ambrosia beetles from the southeastern region of the US.  相似文献

Glycidyl carbamate chemistry combines the excellent properties of polyurethanes with the crosslinking chemistry of epoxy resins. Glycidyl carbamate functional oligomers were synthesized by the reaction of polyfunctional isocyanate oligomers and glycidol. The oligomers were formulated into coatings with several amine functional crosslinkers at varying stoichiometric ratios and cured at different temperatures. Properties such as solvent resistance, hardness, and impact resistance were dependent on the composition and cure conditions. Most coatings had an excellent combination of properties. Studies were carried out to determine the kinetics of the curing reaction of the glycidyl carbamate functional oligomers with multifunctional and model amines. Detailed kinetic analysis of the curing reactions was also undertaken. The results indicated that the glycidyl carbamate functional group is more reactive than a glycidyl ether group. A highly moisture-proof polysilsesquioxane coating was obtained from a new bis-silylated precursor, which was synthesized from 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and m-xylylene diisocyanate (m-XDI) in tetrahydrofuran (THF) and verified by 1H MAS NMR. For direct comparison purposes, an SiO2 coating was also prepared by the Stöber method using tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) as the reactant. Interestingly, the coating obtained from the polysilsesquioxane sol exhibited a much higher moisture resistance capability than its counterpart, which was attributed to its more compact feature between nanoparticles as characterized by N2 absorption experiment and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Furthermore, its high transparency of about 92% showed potential for application in the protection of optical crystals.  相似文献

Halyomorpha halys (Stål) (Pentatomidae), called the brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB), is a newly invasive species in the eastern USA that is rapidly spreading from the original point of establishment in Allentown, PA. In its native range, the BMSB is reportedly attracted to methyl (E,E,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate, the male-produced pheromone of another pentatomid common in eastern Asia, Plautia stali Scott. In North America, Thyanta spp. are the only pentatomids known to produce methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoate [the (E,Z,Z)-isomer] as part of their pheromones. Methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates were field-tested in Maryland to monitor the spread of the BMSB and to explore the possibility that Thyanta spp. are an alternate host for parasitic tachinid flies that use stink bug pheromones as host-finding kairomones. Here we report the first captures of adult and nymph BMSBs in traps baited with methyl (E,E,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate in central Maryland and present data verifying that the tachinid, Euclytia flava (Townsend), exploits methyl (E,Z,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate as a kairomone. We also report the unexpected finding that various isomers of methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoate attract Acrosternum hilare (Say), although this bug apparently does not produce methyl decatrienoates. Other stink bugs and tachinids native to North America were also attracted to methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates. These data indicate there are Heteroptera in North America in addition to Thyanta spp. that probably use methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates as pheromones. The evidence that some pentatomids exploit the pheromones of other true bugs as kairomones to find food or to congregate as a passive defense against tachinid parasitism is discussed.  相似文献
