In the microwave band, substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) couplers take the advantages of low profile, low insertion loss, low interference etc., but suffer from the big size. In this letter, a novel half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) 3-dB coupler is proposed, which keeps the good performance of the SIW coupler with nearly a half reduction in size. 基片集成波导(SIW)具有损耗低、性能好、易于集成等优点,作为一种新型的导波技术已经被广泛地用于微波与毫米波电路.但是对于微波低频段,基片集成波导器件的尺寸偏大.最近,一种新的导波结构--半模基片集成波导(HMSIW)被提出.与基片集成波导相比,半模基片集成波导保留了基片集成波导的优点,同时在尺寸上缩小近一半,损耗也更低.本文提出了两种结合半模基片集成波导与基片集成波导技术的三分贝功率分配器,仿真结果与实验结果一致.  相似文献

 本文提出并设计了一种新型的折叠半模基片集成波导(Folded Half-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide: FHMSIW)宽带带通滤波器,并给出了FHMSIW上层金属层槽缝式和中间金属层槽缝式宽带滤波器的仿真和测试结果。相对于半模基片集成波导(Half-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide: HMSIW)槽缝式滤波器,由双层PCB制作的FHMSIW槽缝式滤波器的尺寸减小了约一半。同时测试结果和仿真结果表明该宽带滤波器具有损耗小、带外抑制好等特性。  相似文献

This letter presents the design and experiment of the half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) bandpass filters. Three-pole and five-pole HMSIW filters are simulated by using CST software and fabricated with a single layer standard printed circuit board process. Different external-coupling approaches are adopted in the design of the two filters. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated results. A double-loop directional filter is described and realized in this work by using a novel guided-wave structure called half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW), which retains the attractive performances of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) with a nearly half reduction in size compared to the original SIW version. The demonstrated filter is designed at 12 GHz with less than 3.2 dB insertion loss for a 250-MHz bandwidth, and the minimum insertion loss is 1.5 dB. It presents low insertion loss, high power capacity in planar compact configuration with a standard PCB fabrication process.  相似文献

A super-compact substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) directional coupler is proposed and demonstrated. This coupler consists of a simple cross-over of two SIW sections with two inductive metallic posts in a square junction, showing a cruciform. Attractive features including compact size and planar form make this coupler structure easily integrable in microwave and millimeter-wave planar circuits, especially in beam-forming networks. A 3-dB coupler operating at 24GHz is designed using HFSS, fabricated and measured. Characteristics of 15dB isolation and 90deg phase shift between the output and coupled ports are achieved over 18% bandwidth. Design considerations and simulated as well as measured results are presented and discussed.  相似文献

提出了基于半模基片集成波导(HMSIW)互连的高速数据传输系统,并实现了单通道7.5Gbps 的高速数字信号传输。对传统SIW 互连传输系统进行了改进,设计加工了新型HMSIW 波导互连,替换传统SIW 波导互连,使得信道传输带宽和系统传输速率显著提高。在相同主模截止频率条件下,HMSIW 的工作带宽为SIW 的两倍,而其宽度尺寸仅为SIW 的一半。仿真与实测结果显示论文提出的HMSIW 互连传输系统与文献提出的传统SIW 互连传输系统相比,前者的最高传输速率是后者的1.5 倍。  相似文献

本文提出了半模基片集成波导的镜像转接段设计,并对其功率分配方面的应用展开了研究.首先分析了半模基片集成波导应用于功分器设计的局限性,然后提出了通过镜像转接方式来实现具有双侧开口面的新型半模基片集成波导镜像转接段.通过仿真分析和实验测试验证了半模基片集成波导镜像转接段结构及其设计方法的可行性.最后设计了基于镜像转接段且具有对称结构的半模基片集成波导三路功分器.该功分器的仿真结果与实验数据表明,采用镜像连接段的半模基片集成波导器件具有良好的传输性能,有助于拓宽半模基片集成波导在功率分配网络设计方面的应用.  相似文献

利用半模基片集成波导3 dB电桥设计了一种X波段单平衡混频器,并用印刷电路板工艺实现。首先设计并测试了半模基片集成波导电桥的性能,并给出测试结果。然后将半模基片集成波导电桥用于单平衡混频器的设计,并给出混频器的具体电路形式。该混频器具有良好的性能,与原有的基片集成波导电桥混频器相比体积更小、重量更轻。经测量混频器变频损耗小于8.6 dB,并在9 GHz~12 GHz频带内获得了比较好的响应平坦度。  相似文献

半模基片集成波导(HMSIW)是最近刚刚提出的一种微波毫米波平面集成导波结构,具有品质因数高,损耗小,结构紧凑和高集成度等优点.本文基于HMSIW技术和标准印刷电路板(PCB)工艺设计并研制了6 dB、10 dB、15 dB和20 dB四种窄壁缝隙耦合定向耦合器.所设计的定向耦合器在保留与基片集成波导(SIW)定向耦合器性能相同的基础上,将体积减小了近一半.测试结果与Ansoft HFSS商用软件仿真结果基本一致,验证了所设计的定向耦合器具有小型化和性能良好等优点.  相似文献

Investigations on planar ultrawideband (UWB) antenna with multiple band-notched characteristics based on half mode substrate integrated waveguide technology are presented. The proposed antenna consists of a planar UWB monopole antenna and a half mode substrate integrated waveguide cavity which can generate multiple stopbands by proper arrangement. Planar antennas with dual, triple and quadruple notched bands are designed and implemented. The notched frequencies and their bandwidths can be adjusted according to specification by altering the cavity and feed line independently. These antennas are fabricated with two-layer printed circuit board (PCB) process. Sharp and high band rejection, narrow frequency notches are achieved, which are in good agreement with the simulated results. This technique is suitable for designing wideband antenna with multiple frequency notches or for creating multiband antennas.   相似文献

A novel multilayer partial H-plane filter is proposed using folded substrate integrated waveguide (FSIW) and fabricated based on a standard LTCC technology. Evanescent SIW sections are utilized to form coupling structures, and no additional via-holes are introduced except those composing the filter boundaries, with its tolerance sensitivity reduced. The measured and simulated S-parameters of the filter samples are presented to show their superior performance, and good agreements are achieved between them.   相似文献

Design and realization of a compact X-band single-transistor amplifier with substrate integrated waveguide (SIW)-based input and output matching networks is presented. The overall size of the proposed SIW amplifier is only $1.5lambda_{rm g}$ at the center frequency. Using a calibration technique, we extract the $S$ -parameters of the fabricated amplifier with reference to its SIW ports. Measurements show that the amplifier features 10 dB of power gain with less than 2 dB of ripple and more than 10 dB of input and output return losses on the SIW ports in the entire frequency band. Due to an appropriate modeling of the constituent blocks of the amplifier, a good agreement between the simulation and measurement results is observed.   相似文献

A single-cavity novel dual mode substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter with non-resonating node (NRN) is presented. The NRN is implemented by etching a coplanar waveguide on the top metal layer of SIW cavity. Under such circumstances, the filter occupies similar area in comparison with conventional two-pole SIW counterparts, but exhibits better frequency selectivity. The measured S-parameters of the realized filter agree well with the simulated ones, with its good performance predicted.   相似文献
