为快速准确地检测出车辆交通事故的发生,本文提出一种基于计算机视觉和图像处理技术的事故监测算法.统计发现车辆交通事故中会因碰撞伴随产生烟雾、碎片,同时车辆的运动速度会发生锐减.故通过提取交通监控视频中的烟雾、碎片和运动目标速度的变化等参数,结合麦夸特法进行公式拟合可得到交通事故发生概率公式,并计算出事故发生概率.实验结果表明,这种方法能有效地监测出车辆交通事故,检测准确率达89.4%,验证了算法的有效性.此方法应用在智能交通系统中将能及时监测到事故发生,可为后续事故处理赢得时间,故有一定的实用价值. 相似文献

目的借助物联网相关技术改变城市与交通系统内"人—汽车—环境"之间的交互模式,提高驾乘过程中的用户体验,提升城市交通运行效率。方法在移动互联网的背景下,利用物联网与汽车智能化技术,把人机交互的概念从人与汽车之间的双向互动,放大到整个城市交通体系的多主体多通道互动之中,重新审视智能交通体系下的人机交互概念。分析不同移动场景中用户的需求,阐述"基于汽车的多主体多通道交互模型"给城市出行效率与驾乘体验带来的本质改变。结论提出面对未来的智能化交通体系中人与汽车、汽车与汽车、汽车与城市公共设施之间的复杂互动关系,即"基于汽车的多主体多通道交互模型"。该模型的运用对未来城市交通与信息化建设,具有一定的理论指导与实用价值。 相似文献

Abstract Image tracking has increasingly gained attention for use in vision‐based traffic monitoring and surveillance applications. For many cities in Asia countries, it is desirable to detect multiple motorcycles as well as cars for urban traffic monitoring and enforcement. In this paper, a novel contour initialization and tracking algorithm is presented to track multiple motorcycles and vehicles at any position on the roadway. This method has the capability to detect moving vehicles of various sizes and to generate their initial contours for image tracking. The proposed method is not constrained by lane boundaries or vehicle size. To track vehicles on roadways, dynamic models are designed to predict the horizontal and vertical positions of vehicle contours. A Kalman filter is designed to update the prediction based on real‐time image measurement. Practical experimental studies using video clips are presented to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. Traffic parameters such as traffic flow, vehicle speeds and traffic density are obtained with satisfactory accuracy. 相似文献

This paper reports on the development of a method for automatic monitoring of safety at Pelican crossings. Historically, safety monitoring has typically been carried out using accident data, though given the rarity of such events it is difficult to quickly detect change in accident risk at a particular site. An alternative indicator sometimes used is traffic conflicts, though this data can be time consuming and expensive to collect. The method developed in this paper uses vehicle speeds and decelerations collected using standard in situ loops and tubes, to determine conflicts using vehicle decelerations and to assess the possibility of automatic safety monitoring at Pelican crossings. Information on signal settings, driver crossing behaviour, pedestrian crossing behaviour and delays, and pedestrian-vehicle conflicts was collected synchronously through a combination of direct observation, video analysis, and analysis of output from tube and loop detectors. Models were developed to predict safety, i.e. pedestrian-vehicle conflicts using vehicle speeds and decelerations. 相似文献

Wireless network sensors and their use in traffic monitoring, traffic density determination or vehicle speed detection and classification have recently been the focus of interest for researchers. This article describes how a new sensor circuit was designed to deliver instantaneous, real-time and novel solutions as a vehicle detection system, which is more powerful than the nodes used in other studies, and gives results with smaller error margins due to its serial communication qualification. With the proposed logic algorithm, it was possible to categorise the instantaneous traffic status of a road in four levels: no traffic, mild traffic, heavy traffic and very heavy traffic. Additionally, with the nodes placed at the beginning and the end of the road, the number of vehicles per hour for a day was determined and traffic was analysed. Then, vehicles passing by were classified with a proposed classification algorithm and magnetic signature length (MSL) parameter as cars, minibuses, buses and trucks, and an accuracy rate of 95% was obtained. As the last application, the direction of motion of the vehicle on the x-axis as well as left-to-right or right-to-left directions was determined, and the result was 94% accurate. The simplicity of the proposed algorithms, the absence of any complex mathematical calculations, the low cost of the sensor node and circuit and the low power consumption of the communication system demonstrate the superiority of this system in comparison with other studies. 相似文献
