Device‐to‐device (D2D) communication is a viable solution proposed by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) to handle the enormous number of devices and expected data explosion in 5G. It is competent in enhancing the system performances such as increased data rate, reduced delay, and less power consumption while maintaining a low load on the base station (BS). In this paper, channel assignment and power control scheme is proposed for underlay D2D system where one cellular channel is allowed to be shared among multiple D2D pairs. This will lead to enhanced spectral efficiency on the cost of additional interferences introduced among the D2D and cellular users (CUs). Our aim is to maximize the D2D throughput without degrading the performance of existing CU that is sharing the channel with D2D. This is achieved by maintaining a threshold signal‐to‐interference‐plus‐noise ratio (SINR) for each CU. A centralized channel assignment algorithm based on the well‐known two‐sided preference Gale‐Shapley algorithm is proposed, named as RAbaGS‐HR. Further, suboptimal distributed power control (DPC) algorithms are proposed for both uplink and downlink D2D. The novelty of the work lies in the facts that a channel is shared among multiple D2D users and the optimal power is calculated for all the users sharing the same channel under the full consideration of all kinds of interferences unlike most of the existing work that either assumed the fixed CU power or ignored the interferences among the D2D users. Numerical results show the efficacy of the proposed algorithms in terms of significant gain in throughput with a very low computational cost. In addition to this, the energy efficiency (EE) is also analyzed for different D2D user density, with respect to average circuit power consumption and D2D maximum transmit power.  相似文献

This work presents a space‐frequency prefiltering scheme for slowly time‐varying TDD MC‐CDMA downlink communications with multiple antennas at the base station (BS). Unlike the conventional spatially uncorrelated block fading channel model, both channel variation in each packet and spatial correlation are considered in the design. In the TDD mode, the mobile terminals (MTs) transmit training signals at the end of each uplink packet. In the following downlink packet, the BS computes the signal weights on different antennas and subcarriers for each MT in each symbol period based on the channel state predicted from the received training signals. The goal is to minimize the total required transmit power while keeping the received signal‐to‐interference‐plus‐noise ratio (SINR) as the target for each MT. Moreover, the maximum packet length for satisfying the SINR requirements has been determined. The results indicate that the total required transmit power can be reduced by a lower mobile speed or more BS antennas. In this paper, we propose an efficient uplink and downlink cooperative transmission and receiving scheme for interleave-division multiple access (IDMA) systems with time-reversal (TR) technique. We refer this system as TDR-IDMA, since the time- division duplexing (TDD) mode is used in this transceiver system. In TDR-IDMA systems, the time-reversed version of the channel impulse responses obtained from the uplink is used to process the received signal before the elementary signal estimator in the receiver of base station (BS). Due to the weak correlations of multi-path for different users, the signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) at the beginning of turbo-like detection of TDR-IDMA can be increased significantly. Compared with conventional IDMA system, much less iterations is needed for signal detection in TDR-IDMA systems. Thus, the proposed scheme effectively reduces the multi-user detection (MUD) computation load for the uplink, which is the bottleneck for IDMA system. TR processing is also applied in the transmitter of BS to reduce the complexity of user ends (UEs). Simulation and analysis results show that TDR-IDMA can achieve the same performance of the traditional IDMA system with fast processing speed and simple UEs.  相似文献

A multi-carrier simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) communication system including one base station (BS) and one user was investigated,where both uplink and downlink adopt orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).In the downlink,the BS transmited information and power to the user simultaneously.In the uplink,the user transmited information to the BS by using the power harvested from the BS in the downlink.The weighted sum of the downlink and uplink achievable rates by jointly optimizing subcarrier allocation and power allocation of the uplink and downlink were aimed to maximized.An optimal algorithm to solve the joint resource allocation problem was proposed,which was based on the Lagrange duality method and the ellipsoid method.Finally,the result shows the performances of the proposed algorithm by computer simulations.  相似文献

Full‐duplex (FD) mode of communication with efficient transmission scheme is a promising approach for 5G wireless systems by improving the spectral efficiency. This can be attained by making use of various precoding approaches. We propose a new co‐channel interference (CCI)‐aware improvement to signal‐to‐leakage‐and‐noise ratio (SLNR) technique and a suppression filter at the receiver to whiten the interference for the downlink channel. As well, for the uplink (UL) communication, we propose a self‐interference (SI)‐aware enhancement to SLNR scheme and designing a precoder using self‐interference plus noise covariance matrix. The total spectral efficiency is obtained from the sum‐rates of both downlink and uplink communication systems. Simulation results verify that the spectral efficiency (SE) of FD using the proposed scheme performs well relative to the half‐duplex system for all Rician factor and for small powers at the base station (BS) and UL communication channel users. Moreover, as the number of users grows, which entails that as the number of receiving antennas greater than the number of antennas at the BS the SLNR scheme still works, nonetheless, zero‐forcing (ZF) and block‐diagonalization (BD) precoding schemes failed. This is due to the fact that designing a precoder based on SLNR scheme supports multiple numbers of antennas at the base station and users compared with ZF and BD by compromising the interference and noise. However, for the cases of ZF and BD approaches failed due to both schemes require the number of transmit antennas at the BS to be larger than the sum of the receiving antennas at all users.  相似文献

A full-duplex 60-GHz radio-over-fiber (RoF) system using novel optical local oscillating (LO) carrier distribution scheme to reduce the system cost and realize centralized management is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. In the proposed scheme, the optical LO carriers for producing remote electrical LO signals at the base stations (BSs) are generated together with the downlink RoF carriers at the central station (CS) via four-wave-mixing effect in semiconductor optical amplifier, and are then distributed to the BSs along with the downlink RoF signals. By down-converting the 60-GHz-band uplink signal with the remotely produced 60-GHz LO signal and reusing the optical LO carriers as the uplink optical source, only a cost-effective intermediate frequency modulator is required at each BS to transmit the uplink signal, which will dramatically reduce the whole system budget due to a large amount of BSs. Moreover, the operating frequency of each BS can be controlled remotely at the CS end to realize centralized management and convenient reconfiguration. Using the proposed scheme, 622-Mb/s signals for both directions are successfully transmitted over a 20-km single-mode fiber link and a 50-cm wireless channel with less than 0.1- and 0.2-dB power penalty for downlink and uplink, respectively.   相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of channel estimation in a multiuser multi-cell wireless communications system in which the base station (BS) is equipped with a very large number of antennas (also referred to as “massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)”). We consider a time-division duplexing (TDD) scheme, in which reciprocity between the uplink and downlink channels can be assumed. Channel estimation is essential for downlink beamforming in massive MIMO, nevertheless, the pilot contamination effect hinders accurate channel estimation, which leads to overall performance degradation. Benefitted from the asymptotic orthogonality between signal and interference subspaces for non-overlapping angle-of arrivals (AOAs) in the large-scale antenna system, we propose a multiple signals classification (MUSIC) based channel estimation algorithm during the uplink transmission. Analytical and numerical results verify complete pilot decontamination and the effectiveness of the proposed channel estimation algorithm in the multiuser multi-cell massive MIMO system.  相似文献

TD-LTE系统中的波束成形(Beam Forming)会受到收、发天线不对称性的影响。TD-LTE-Advanced(TD-LTE-A)系统中使用上行多天线发送可以解决天线不对称性的问题,因此需要对其分析以优化Beam Forming的性能。通过对上行多天线的信道状态信息(CSI)做特征值(SVD)分解,指出了Beam Forming对下行信噪比(SNR)的改善。针对Beam Forming模式下SNR和链路质量指示(CQI)的差异,提出了一种优化链路自适应的方法。数值仿真验证了优化后的TD-LTE-A相比TD-LTE的Beam Forming吞吐率最大提高了24%,其结论对商用TD-LTE网升级到TD-LTE-A具有显著价值。  相似文献

The downlink channel covariance matrix (DCCM) is of vital importance in determining downlink beamforming weights for base station (BS) antenna array systems. For the frequency-division-duplex (FDD) mode, DCCM is difficult to obtain due to a lack of direct measurement of downlink channel responses. In this paper, a novel technique is proposed for estimating DCCM using uplink channel responses only, which does not need direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation and its association. The downlink beamforming scheme is then proposed for wireless DS-CDMA systems, using the obtained DCCM information together with the so-called virtual uplink beamforming and power control technique. Computer simulations show that using the BS antenna array together with this new beamforming technique can provide larger system capacity than traditional DOA-based approaches, which just direct the main beam toward the desired user  相似文献

This paper studies the impacts of adjacent channel interference (ACI) on uplink capacity in a multi‐macrocell/multi‐microcell wideband code‐division multiple access (WCDMA) system. A method is presented for computing ACI and deriving capacity limitation. This method is based on an interference analysis that accounts for shadow fading, and random distribution of mobile users. The results indicate that both the base station (BS) separation and adjacent channel interference power ratio (ACIR) strongly affect system capacity reduction. 在单频网多播传输中,传统的全反馈动态功率分配数算法需要根据每个时隙反馈的用户瞬时信道信息进行实时的调整,所以造成了资源分配频率快、上行反馈开销大的缺点。为了克服这个缺点,提出了一个低复杂度、没有用户反馈的单频网多播开环半动态功率分配算法。首先在各小区等功率分配的假设下,根据单频网的形状信息算出各小区等价信道增益,然后再根据这个增益值,实现满足速率需求情况下的各小区功率分配。仿真结果显示,与全反馈的动态功率分配算法相比,该算法以一小部分性能损失为代价,大大减少了单频网的上行反馈和资源分配的开销,因此更适用于实际的单频网多播系统。  相似文献

In this paper, channel estimation for multiuser massive MIMO system is addressed for the scenario, where the number of scatterers is small compared to the base station antennas and single antenna users in the cell. If the number of scatterers is limited, then the corresponding angle of arrivals are finite. Moreover, if all the users share the same angle of arrivals, then the correlation among the channel vector increases. Thus, the high‐dimensional channel is approximated to the low‐rank matrix. This rank minimization problem is formulated as the weighted nuclear norm problem and is estimated using iterative weighted singular value thresholding (IWSVT) algorithm. To increase the convergence rate, fast IWSVT algorithm is proposed and the performance is measured based on mean square error and uplink and downlink achievable sum‐rate. The simulation study shows that the proposed weighted nuclear norm minimization method with fast IWSVT algorithm performs better than the conventional least square and the nuclear norm minimization method for various finite scatterers in different signal‐to‐noise ratio levels.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a simple interference cancellation technique for the downlink of wideband code‐division multiple‐access (WCDMA) systems in multipath environment. With the same knowledge required by a RAKE receiver, the present method acts as an equalizer and cancels the interfering multipath signals from the received signal to retrieve the orthogonality property of the received signal. The present receiver has a simple structure and it has significant performance gain against the RAKE receiver. In addition, the noise enhancement is negligible when there is a line of sight path or the channel power delay profile has an exponential decaying form. In maximal ratio transmission, the base station adjusts the complex weights of its transmit antennas to compensate for downlink channel gains in order to produce signal reinforcement-diversity-at a desired mobile that may have only a single antenna. To make the method adaptive, the complex weights are obtained from the instantaneous complex gains in the uplink; however, delay and frequency offset between uplink measurements and downlink transmission reduce the correlation between the gains in the two directions. This paper provides an analysis of the effects of gain decorrelation and of the number of antennas, and an assessment of the effect of fading when the method supports multiple users. It demonstrates that large reductions in downlink transmit power are achievable, and it examines simple transmission models to see how well they support the technique  相似文献

本文利用通信系统具有上下行时隙的特点,根据基站和用户终端发射功率的不同,提出了基于上行时隙的能量检测算法。在非授权用户系统的认知节点进行在线能量检测时,容易受到系统自身发射信号的干扰。为了减轻该影响,本文基于上行时隙进行能量检测,这样认知节点所受干扰主要来源于系统的用户终端,其带来的干扰相对较小。文中选取了TD-LTE系统作为非授权用户、雷达系统作为授权用户的认知系统开展研究,并通过MATLAB仿真证明了基于上行时隙的能量检测算法的可行性。  相似文献

A especially favorable multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)-based concept for future mobile radio systems consists of the application of joint detection (JD) in the uplink and joint transmission (JT) in the downlink. By this, all the computational complex signal processing is shifted to the base station (BS), resulting in low-complexity mobile stations. Both JD and JT require channel knowledge at the BS which, if time-division duplexing is applied, can be obtained by training signal-based channel estimation in the uplink. Unfortunately, channel estimates are never perfect, which leads to performance degradations if these channel estimates, instead of perfect channel knowledge, are used for JD or JT. Especially channel errors due to the time variance of the mobile radio channel are often considered to be a severe problem in the application of MIMO techniques in high-mobility scenarios, which requires closer investigation. In this paper, a novel analysis of the performance degradations of zero-forcing JD and JT due to imperfect channel knowledge is presented. The analysis is based on linear Taylor approximation of the data-estimation error due to imperfect channel knowledge.  相似文献

本文提出了MC-CDMA系统中一种预处理线性受限最小二乘恒模多用户检测算法(Pre-processed Linearly Con- strained Least Squares Constant Modulus Multi-user detection Algorithm),称为P-LCLSCMA。它是对MC-CDMA接收信号进行预处理,即在每次迭代中,用已估信道参数先消除信道在各个子载波上对期望用户信号的影响,然后对处理后的信号用P- LCLSCMA算法进行多用户检测,从而确保了算法收敛于期望信号,提高了系统的检测性能。我们对这种新算法分别在下行链路和上行链路进行了仿真,仿真结果表明,本文提出的P-LCLSCMA算法的误码率和信干比性能得到了提高。  相似文献
