The recently reported high spectral efficiency (SE) and high-baud-rate signal transmission are all based on digital coherent optical communications and digital signal processing (DSP). DSP simplifies the reception of advanced modulation formats and also enables the major electrical and optical impairments to be processed and compensated in the digital domain, at the transmitter or receiver side. In this paper, we summarize the research progress on high-speed signal generation and detection and also show the progress on DSP for high-speed signal detection. An tool for monitoring reporting, and controlling the progress of time-critical projects called progress plotting is presented. It helps distinguish between minor schedule slips and problems that call for serious management intervention. It also serves to evaluate planning accuracy on previous projects. Progress is shown by plotting the actual time used on a project against the completed percentage of the critical path. Control lines in the plotting space indicate probabilities of completing the project on schedule. If the progress line crosses low-probability control line, managers may want to intervene and bring the project back on schedule. Crossing a high-probability control line means an early finish may be anticipated with confidence. The progress plot is comparable to the process-control chart used in manufacturing settings 相似文献

In recent years, great progress has been made in research and development of small-molecule organic materials with various low-dimensional nanostructures. This paper presents a comprehensive review of recent research progress in this field, including preparation, electronic and optoelectronic properties and applications. First, an introduction gives to the reprecipitation, soft templates methods, and progress in synthesis and morphological control of low-dimensional small-molecule organic nanomaterials. Their unique optical and electronic properties and research progress in these aspects are reviewed and discussed in detail. Applications based on low-dimensional small-molecule organic nanomaterials are briefly described. Finally, some perspectives to the future development of this field are addressed. 相似文献
