在大锻件的锻造过程中,为了锻合缺陷,提高锻件内部质量,采用中心压实法可以起到较好的效果,但是由于传统中心压实法锻造的操作复杂,工况较差,而且锻件表面容易产生压伤和折叠等问题,所以提出一种新的中心压实法——一维温差中心压实法,即只对锻件上下表面强制冷却,建立一维的不均匀温度场,采用平砧进行锻造.从而避免上述问题。介绍的工作即采用有限元的方法模拟一维温差中心压实法和传统中心压实法锻造过程,分析这两种情况下锻件的温度场和应力应变场,比较它们对锻件质量的影响。分析结果表明:针对大锻件,一维温差中心压实法的锻造效果要优于传统中心压实法。 相似文献

An application-oriented finite-element approach to forging die structural analysis is presented in this paper. The die set structural analysis problem is formulated as a contact problem with both shrink fit and preloaded clamping considered, solved iteratively by a varying penalty method. The loading condition is extracted automatically from forging simulation. Design optimization of hot forging dies requires an accurate estimation of die wear. The presented paper introduces a finite element model for wear estimation that includes the process related thermal effects on hardness of the tool material. Fundamental investigations concerning the hardness evolution due to thermal softening of the tool material are presented. To obtain necessary data for model calibration by means of statistical analysis, optical measurements are performed on several industrial forging dies. The introduced model is proved to be applicable in wear estimation of hot forging dies over a large number of operating cycles. 相似文献

For the application of numerical simulation to forming processes, one outstanding problem area is the analysis of three-dimensional deformation problems and the evaluation on the effect of closing and consolidation of internal cavities at the cores of large forgings. Considering the balance of solution accuracy and computational efficiency, a simplified 8-node element was employed. A new way to explore the effect on elimination of internal defects by means of shrinkage rate and shrinkage energy which are computed by finite element method is introduced. Analyses for WHF process which can improve the soundness of heavy forgings have been performed. The optimum geometrical parameters for the process are proposed. The results show an excellent agreement between theory and experiments. 相似文献
