The transmission of fused and crystalline quartz, teflon, polyethylene and TPX was measured at mm- and sub-mm-wavelengths after neutron and γ-irradiation of the samples at doses comparable with typical values for vessel windows in ignited fusion experiments. Whereas fused and crystalline quartz and — with some restriction —teflon and polyethylene retained their transparency even after such extreme exposures, the transmission of TPX was degraded by irradiation doses one or two orders of magnitude below those expected for such experimental conditions.  相似文献

The Next Generation Network (NGN) has been a term frequently quoted in the hot topics of Telecommunication industry. The Softswitch and the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) are proposed to implement the NGN services. It is imperative to reach a consensus on positioning and planning their future directions. However, it is rather difficult to realize smooth network evolution towards IMS as the Softswitch mainly supports the traditional Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) services. The MPEG-4 Version 1 standard has been recently finalized. Since MPEG-4 adopted an object-based audiovisual representation model with hyperlinking and interaction capabilities and supports both natural and synthetic content, it is expected that this standard will become the information coding playground for future multimedia applications. The results of atomic-structure optimization and calculation of the electronic structure of the Si20, Si 20 ? , NaSi20, and KSi20 clusters are reported. The PM3 and AM1 semiempirical methods were used in the calculations. It is shown that the Na and K atoms stabilize the fullerene-like silicon structure. Human body with curved and soft interfaces requests advanced flexible materials and structures for the interaction with organs and signal collection from targets in applications such as bioengineering and diagnostic devices.Among them,it is highly demanded to achieve creative design in flexible materials and structures with great stretchable capability for required applications.To this end,both inorganic and organic materials could be adopted and designed with assembly and self-assembly methods for flexible electronics and electrodes.Soft or flexible materials and structures inspired by nature can lead to highly conformal contacts between devices and the human body.These approaches hold great potential for applications in flexible electronics,medical imaging technology and portable disease diagnostics.Novel strategy on related sensors/actuator and energy storage/generation devices could overcome certain limitations on flexible materials engineering and thus advance the field as well.All these methods would deliver a profound impact to our future intelligent society.  相似文献

Homo- and heterogeneous bonding of Cu, SiO2, and polyimide, by using a single vapor-assisted surface activation method at 150°C and atmospheric pressure, is highly feasible and will be of practical use in three-dimensional heterointegration of thin, flat interconnection layers. Since it is necessary to achieve good bondability to diverse materials in a single process in order to maintain bumpless structures, we have to create a compatible bridging layer. Bridging layers, based on Cu hydroxide hydrate and silanol and hydroxyl groups formed from SiO2 and polyimide, respectively, were prepared by introducing water onto the activated surfaces at atmospheric pressure. The growth rate of the bridging layers was tunable via absolute humidity, and exposure of 8 g/m3 was used. Heating at 150°C, after exposure to humidity, caused tight adhesion between the mating surfaces for all combinations of starting materials with voidless amorphous interfacial (bridging) layers. Because of the well-controlled layer thickness, low electrical resistivity of ~4 × 10?8 Ω m was obtained at the Cu–Cu interface.  相似文献

设计了一个三管有源像素和其用开关电容放大器实现的双采样读出电路. 该电路被嵌入一64×64像素阵列CMOS图像传感器,在Chartered公司0.35μm工艺线上成功流片. 在8μm×8μm像素尺寸下实现了57%的填充因子. 测得可见光响应灵敏度为0.8V/(lux·s),动态范围为50dB. 理论分析和实验结果表明随着工艺尺寸缩小,像素尺寸减小会使光响应灵敏度降低. 在深亚微米工艺条件下,较深的n阱/p衬底结光电二极管可以提供合理的填充因子和光响应灵敏度.  相似文献

The deregulation of the telecommunications industry and its convergence with the broadcasting and computer industries have led to a variety of alliances within the redefined sector. The paper uses recent developments in the economics of a corporate structure to provide some tools for an analysis of these moves. It focuses on the firm’s choice of internal organization, boundaries and alliances. After a brief recap of mergers and alliances in the three industries, the paper reviews the three possible motivations for such moves : efficiency, acquisition of market power, and objectives of entrenched managers. It then uses a formal model to provide a definition for the usually loose concept of core competency and to determine a firm’s legal boundaries and sphere of influence as a function of its headquarters’ ability to oversee activities. Last, it derives some implications of the analysis for the organization of R&;D.  相似文献
