在中央空调管理系统的发展背景和相关技术基础上,逐步对中央空调管理系统的现状进行了分析,提出了基于BACnet/web services技术的中央空调节能管理系统CAC-IEnet.这个系统可以实现对中央空调系统内温度、湿度、压力、流量、电力参量的实时监控,并自动采取节能策略对空调系统进行管理,同时,管理人员可以通过web服务实时掌握中央空调系统的运行以及环境情况.本系统的总体目标是构建一个可扩展性强、开放性好的系统平台,通过该平台可以实现中央空调设备之间的互联、互动和信息共事,实现中央空调与外界的信息交换.文章首先介绍了中央空调管理系统在国内外发展现状,结合了BACnet的特点,提出了系统开发的基本设计原则和开发方法.设计和开发基于BACnet的中央空调管理系统,不仅具有很强的现实意义,也具有广泛的市场前景.  相似文献

In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in energy consumption in Saudi Arabia. The building sector being the largest consumer of electric energy represents a major potential contributor for reducing energy consumption. Due to their functional and operational characteristics, commercial buildings relatively consume more energy (per unit area) than other types of buildings. The heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system (HVAC) is one of the largest end-users of energy in these buildings, particularly in harsh climates. Energy efficient design and operation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings can offer major opportunities for reduced energy consumption and contribute to sustainable development. However, improper utilization of energy conservation measures can result in reduced environmental quality. This in turn exposes the occupants to thermal discomfort and health risks, and consequently diminishes the economic value of the facility. Therefore, a well assessed and balanced energy conservation strategy is required to achieve energy efficiency while maintaining desired level of thermal comfort. In this study, major design and operational parameters for different types of HVAC systems influencing energy consumption are investigated utilizing the Visual-DOE program. Results indicate that energy savings of up to 30% can be obtained while maintaining acceptable level of thermal comfort when HVAC systems are properly selected and operated.  相似文献

An approach to optimizing the energy efficiency of a Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system is presented that utilizes computational predictions of the effect of heat load distribution on moist air temperature, density, and humidity variation. Lumped-HVAC (L-HVAC) is a new lumped parameter code that couples fluid transport, energy transport, thermodynamics, and psychrometrics in an HVAC system. This code contains a nonlinear implicit solution algorithm for steady-state and transient calculations for flow resistance, water mass balance, and energy conservation. L-HVAC has been validated using a simplified analytical model, the commercial lumped parameter code SINDA/FLUINT, and experimental measurements. Steady-state calculations for a single-room system suggest an order of magnitude greater energy savings using a variable chiller power control approach compared to control damper and variable-drive fan approaches. L-HVAC was also applied to predict that the fraction of latent to total heat load influences the steady-state system temperature by up to 0.4 °C for the example system in this study.  相似文献

The performance of different HVAC systems varies when coupled with different buildings. This paper examines the relationship between building heating and cooling load and subsequent energy consumption with different HVAC systems. Two common HVAC systems in use throughout the UK office building stock, variable air volume (VAV) system and fan coil (FC) with dedicated outside air system, have been coupled with a typical narrow plan office building with and without daylight control and for both cellular and open plan.The results presented in this paper clearly indicate that it is not possible to form a reliable judgment about building energy performance based only on building heating and cooling loads. For the two investigated systems, variable air volume system and fan coil with dedicated outside air system, the difference between system demand and building demand varied from over −40% to almost +30% for cooling and between −20% and +15% for heating. If a heat recovery unit is used, the difference in heating performance is even greater, rising to −70%.  相似文献

The significant and continuous increment in the global electricity consumption is asking for energy saving strategies. Efficient control for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) is the most cost-effective way to minimize the use of energy in buildings. In this framework, an energy management and control system (EMCS) has been developed to schedule electricity end-uses in the campus of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain. This paper presents an evaluation performed by using the EMCS of different control strategies for HVAC split systems. It analyzed the effect of different schedules for a common air-conditioning device and demand response strategies are tested in several situations. The economic saving is calculated taking into account the electricity contract clauses. Finally, a test is made for the control of a group of similar devices in order to reduce the maximum peak power in consumption and to obtain a flexible load shape with the HVAC loads. The studies are then extrapolated to a larger system, the whole University campus, for which energy and economic savings are quantified.  相似文献

Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems comprise nearly one third of annual household energy consumption in the United States. HVAC energy use can be reduced by applying controls. This study applies a novel control method on a system with arbitrary steady-state and transient load distributions. The new method uses multi-dimensional interpolation between optimized control configurations for various steady-state load distributions. Demonstration of the new method on a two-room HVAC system predicts power savings for an arbitrary steady load that is nearly equivalent to that using a Variable-Air-Volume (VAV) with chiller modulation. However, the new method provides better energy savings for arbitrary transient loads: 19% energy savings over an uncontrolled system compared to energy savings of 6% for a VAV with chiller modulation. The average transient temperature deviation from setpoint using the new method is slightly better than that using VAV with chiller modulation.  相似文献
