The evolution of CORDIC, an iterative arithmetic computing algorithm capable of evaluating various elementary functions using a unified shift-and-add approach, and of CORDIC processors is reviewed. A method to utilize a CORDIC processor array to implement digital signal processing algorithms is presented. The approach is to reformulate existing DSP algorithms so that they are suitable for implementation with an array performing circular or hyperbolic rotation operations. The problem of microwave imaging of rotating objects is approached from a digital signal processing point of view. Attention is focused on the reconstruction of the two-dimensional (2-D) image of an object obtained by processing complex samples of the continuous wave (CW) signal return received for different object aspect angles covering a 2pi total variation. The effects of a polar sampling of the Fourier transform (FT) of the target reflectivity function on the impulse response of the imaging system are analyzed. A criterion for the choice of the angular sampling interval in order to control the image blurring is given. Finally, a new and fast digital signal processing method for image reconstruction is proposed. This method reconstructs high resolution images of rotating targets illuminated by a CW electromagnetic signal or by a large bandwidth transmitted signal. This algorithm is suitable for processing wideband received signal of targets observed for a large variation of the viewing angle, so it is very attractive for the reconstruction of very high spatial resolution target images in SAR/ISAR systems. To show the performance of the method we finally present and discuss the results obtained by applying the proposed technique on simulated and experimental data. 相似文献

Active noise control (ANC) is achieved by introducing a cancelling “antinoise” wave through an appropriate array of secondary sources. These secondary sources are interconnected through an electronic system using a specific signal processing algorithm for the particular cancellation scheme. ANC has application to a wide variety of problems in manufacturing, industrial operations, and consumer products. The emphasis of this paper is on the practical aspects of ANC systems in terms of adaptive signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP) implementation for real-world applications. In this paper, the basic adaptive algorithm for ANC is developed and analyzed based on single-channel broad-band feedforward control. This algorithm is then modified for narrow-band feedforward and adaptive feedback control. In turn, these single-channel ANC algorithms are expanded to multiple-channel cases. Various online secondary-path modeling techniques and special adaptive algorithms, such as lattice, frequency-domain, subband, and recursive-least-squares, are also introduced. 该文研究了经验模式分解(Empirical Mode Decomposition,EMD)方法在红外气体检测中的应用。针对红外气体浓度信号的特点对算法进行了改进,使得算法能够在不分解出所有IMF(Intrinsic Mode Function)分量的情况下,正确提取所需的IMF分量。与低通滤波和锁相等方法进行了比较分析,结果表明,改进后的EMD算法具有所需数据量少、计算量小、提取的有用信号能量损失少等优点,可以快速识别气体浓度的变化,有效提高气体浓度测量的精度,适用于在线实时检测。 相似文献

An algorithm for the calculation of optimized error vector magnitude (EVM) and offset vector magnitude (OVM) parameters for m-ary PSK baseband modulators (BMs) is presented. It does not require the regeneration of an ideal reference signal but is based on a mixed time and frequency domain software digital signal processing of a short (256 symbol) random data test signal. The frequency domain processing is required for phase rotation compensation. In digital signal processing, algorithms are very well developed for the estimation of harmonic components. In power electronic applications, an objective like fast response of a system is of primary importance. An effective method for the estimation of instantaneous harmonic components, along with conventional harmonic elimination technique, is presented in this article. The primary function is to eliminate undesirable higher harmonic components from the selected signal (current or voltage) and it requires only the knowledge of the frequency of the component to be eliminated. A signal processing technique using modified ADALINE algorithm has been proposed for harmonic estimation. The proposed method stays effective as it converges to a minimum error and brings out a finer estimation. A conventional control based on pulse width modulation for selective harmonic elimination is used to eliminate harmonic components after its estimation. This method can be applied to a wide range of equipment. The validity of the proposed method to estimate and eliminate voltage harmonics is proved with a dc/ac inverter as a simulation example. 在卫星地面测控系统中,要求在低信噪比(如-20分贝)条件下提取目标的多普勒频率信息,以引导接收机锁相环捕获信号并锁定。模拟式频率引导采用经典的晶体滤波器组,其数量大、成本高、重量体积大。数字式频率引导采用对接收信号采样序列进行FFT运算处理实现对目标的频率捕获,具有显著的优越性。作者等人以8086微机实现的数字频率引导设备已成功地应用于同步通讯卫星测控站中。为了进一步提高处理速度,采用了TMS32020单片信号处理器研制出频率引导快速处理机,使频率引导处理时间提高15倍以上。该成果的硬件设备可适应不同的实时数字信号处理要求,应用于雷达、通讯、遥控、仪器、语音、智能等各种场合。 相似文献
