For an alcohol/water system and with fin baffle packing, continuous distillation experiments were carried out in a rotating packed bed (RPB) system at atmospheric pressure. The effects of the average high gravity factor (β), liquid reflux ratio (R) and feedstock flux (F) on the momentum transfer and mass transfer were investigated. The gas phase pressure drop of RPB increased with the average high gravity factor, liquid reflux ratio and feedstock flux, which was 13.55-64.37 Pa at β of 2.01-51.49, R of 1.0-2.5, and F of 8-24 L&;#8226;h-1 for a theoretical tray in the RPB with fin baffle packing. The investigation on the mass transfer in the RPB with different packings showed that the number of transfer units of RPB with a packing also increased with the average high gravity factor, reflux ratio and feedstock flux. It is found that the fin baffle packing (packing III) presents the best mass transfer performance and lowest pressure drop for the height equivalent to a theoretical plate (HETP), which is 6.59-9.84 mm. 相似文献

采用Na2CO3-H2S为体系,利用规整丝网填料和新型塑料填料的错流旋转床为吸收设备,探究了两种填料床的传质性能,通过理论推导气液传质系数Ky和Kya的表达式,考察了液量、气液比、超重力因子对脱硫率、Ky和Kya的影响。实验结果表明:在相同条件下,规整丝网填料床的脱硫率略高于新型塑料填料床,约为3%~4%,但Ky、Kya和压降分别是新型塑料填料床的0.25~0.5、0.8~0.9和0.3~0.5倍。通过文献对比分析,在相近工况条件下,新型塑料填料床的Kya比散装丝网填料床提高了1.45倍。并对实验数据进行回归,拟合出Ky、Kya与气相雷诺数ReG、液相韦伯数WeL和伽利略数Ga之间的关联式。 相似文献

A carbon nanofiber (CNF)/graphite felt composite was synthesized by growing CNFs on the surface of graphite fibers and was used as the packing of a fixed bed reactor under two phase flow conditions. The pressure drop, axial dispersion and mass transfer in the liquid were studied by experiment and by piston dispersion exchange (PDE) model. It was shown that the pressure drop and total liquid up could be predicted by the slit model in an acceptable accuracy. The axial dispersion in the liquid phase in the composite and the mass transfer between the dynamic and static liquid are higher than in the packed bed of solid particles owing to the porous and fluffy CNF layer on the carbon felt fiber. 相似文献

Hydrodynamics and mass transfer of gas–liquid flow such as pressure drop, liquid holdup, and gas–liquid mass-transfer coefficient in micropacked bed reactors (μPBRs) with metal foam packing are investigated with an automated platform. Parametric studies are conducted varying gas and liquid superficial velocities, pore diameters of foam packing, and liquid physical properties. Experimental results show that μPBRs with foam packing have comparative mass transfer rate and 10 times lower pressure drop compared to the microparticles. The values of mass-transfer coefficient for three types of foam packing in μPBRs are 1–2 orders of magnitude larger than those in large-scale trickle bed reactors with foam packing. Furthermore, empirical correlations of pressure drop, liquid holdup, and gas–liquid mass-transfer coefficient in μPBRs with foam packing are proposed and the predicted values are found to be in good agreement with the experimental values. 相似文献
