在范例推理系统中,系统的学习会使范例库逐渐增大,一般来说范例库越大,知识越丰富,但也不能无限增加,否则会大大增加相似范例检索的时间,降低系统的总体性能。因此范例推理学习系统必须有维护功能,主要目的是限制范例库的无限膨胀,且能保持系统的性能。本文在给出一个改进的删除策略维护方案的同时,并从另一角度出发,提出一个基于范例增加的维护策略,以保证系统的性能不受影响,从而达到小范例库强功能的目的。 相似文献

In case-based reasoning (CBR) classification systems, the similarity metrics play a key role and directly affect the system's performance. Based on our previous work on the learning pseudo metrics (LPM), we propose a case-based reasoning method for pattern classification, where the widely used Euclidean distance is replaced by the LPM to measure the closeness between the target case and each source case. The same type of case as the target case can be retrieved and the category of the target case can be defined by using the majority of reuse principle. Experimental results over some benchmark datasets and a fault diagnosis of the Tennessee-Eastman (TE) process demonstrate that the proposed reasoning techniques in this paper can effectively improve the classification accuracy, and the LPM-based retrieval method can substantially improve the quality and learning ability of CBR classifiers. 相似文献

Development of classification methods using case-based reasoning systems is an active area of research. In this paper, two new case-based reasoning systems with two similarity measures that support mixed categorical and numerical data as well as only categorical data are proposed. The principal difference between these two measures lies in the calculations of distance for categorical data. The first one, named distance in unsupervised learning (DUL), is derived from co-occurrence of values, and the other one, named distance in supervised learning (DSL), is used to calculate the distance between two values of the same feature with respect to every other feature for a given class. However, the distance between numerical data is computed using the Euclidean distance. Furthermore, the importance of numeric features is determined by linear discrimination analysis (LDA) and the weight assignment to categorical features depends on co-occurrence of feature values when calculating the similarity between a new case and the old one. The performance of the proposed case-based reasoning systems has been investigated on the University of California, Irvine (UCI) data sets by 5-fold cross validation. The results indicate that these case-based reasoning systems will produce a proper performance in predictive accuracy and interpretability. 相似文献

Natural language search engines should be developed to provide a friendly environment for business-to-consumer e-commerce that reduce the fatigue customers experience and help them decide what to buy. To support product information retrieval and reuse, this paper presents a novel framework for a case-based reasoning system that includes a collaborative filtering mechanism and a semantic-based case retrieval agent. Furthermore, the case retrieval agent integrates short-text semantic similarity (STSS) and recognizing textual entailment (RTE). The proposed approach was evaluated using competitive methods in the performance of STSS and RTE, and according to the results, the proposed approach outperforms most previously described approaches. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed approach was investigated using a case study of an online bookstore, and according to the results of case study, the proposed approach outperforms a compared system using string similarity and an existing e-commerce system, Amazon. 相似文献
