Copper(I) thiocyanate (CuSCN) is rising to prominence as a hole‐transporting semiconductor in various opto/electronic applications. Its unique combination of good hole mobility, high optical transparency, and solution‐processability renders it a promising hole‐transport layer for solar cells and p‐type channel in thin‐film transistors. CuSCN is typically deposited from sulfide‐based solutions with diethyl sulfide (DES) being the most widely used. However, little is known regarding the effects of DES on CuSCN films despite the fact that DES can coordinate with Cu(I) and result in a different coordination polymer having a distinct crystal structure when fully coordinated. Herein, the coordination of DES in CuSCN films is thoroughly investigated with a suite of characterization techniques as well as density functional theory. This study reveals that DES directly affects the microstructure of CuSCN by stabilizing the polar crystalline surfaces via the formation of strong coordination bonds. Furthermore, a simple antisolvent treatment is demonstrated to be effective at modifying the microstructure and morphology of CuSCN films. The treatment with tetrahydrofuran or acetone leads to uniform films consisting of CuSCN crystallites with high crystallinity and their surfaces passivated by DES molecules, resulting in an increase in the hole mobility from 0.01 to 0.05 cm2 V?1 s?1.  相似文献

All‐inorganic perovskite light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) reveal efficient luminescence with high color purity, but their modest brightness and poor stability are still critical drawbacks. Here, the luminescent efficiency and the stability of perovskite LEDs (PeLEDs) are boosted by antisolvent vapor treatment of CsPbBr3 embedded in a dielectric polymer matrix of polyethylene oxide (PEO). A unique method is developed to obtain high quality CsPbBr3 emitting layers with low defects by controlling their grain sizes. CsPbBr3 in PEO matrix is post‐treated with antisolvent of chloroform (CF), leading to microcrystals with a size of ≈5 µm along the in‐plane direction with active emitting composite of 90%. A device based on CF post‐treatment (CsPbBr3‐PEO‐CF) film displays a brightness of up to 51890 cd m?2 with an external quantum efficiency of 4.76%. CsPbBr3‐PEO‐CF PeLED still maintains 82% of its initial efficiency after 80 h continuous operation in ambient air, which indicates relatively good device stability. This work highlights that film quality is not only key to promoting fluorescence in CsPbBr3, but also to achieving higher performance PeLEDs.  相似文献

An underlying mechanism is reported for the formation of highly uniform crystalline organic semiconductor films by the double‐shot inkjet printing (IJP) technique utilizing antisolvent crystallization. It is demonstrated that the ability to form uniform films with this technique can be attributed to the unique nature of the initial contact dynamics between the chemically different microdroplets before occurrence of solute crystallization. Experiments are conducted systematically where a single microdroplet is over‐deposited by the IJP technique on a chemically different sessile droplet, for ten kinds of pure and miscible solvent combinations. The subsequent behavior is observed by high speed camera. The initial contact dynamics can be classified into three dramatically different cases that are respectively referred to as wetting, dewetting, and sinking. These phenomena are unique to microdroplets and the conditions for the occurrence of each type of phenomenon can be consistently explained by the fact that the initial contact dynamics are driven by the difference of surface tension of the liquids. Among the three kinds of dynamics, the wetting phenomenon creates a thin solution layer on the antisolvent droplet surface and can be used thus to manufacture uniform semiconductor films, where the coffee ring effect can be eliminated.  相似文献
