The aim of this paper is to contribute to the field of satisfaction research from the perspective of electronic banking users—a topic of great interest to financial institutions as they formulate business strategies. In this context, we analyze the possible moderating effect of user experience with the products of a specific institution. A comprehensive review of the scientific literature justified the development of a behavioral model that explains satisfaction using a set of constructs or endogenous variables and the moderating effect of experience. Data was collected from a self-administered Web survey in the authenticated section of the electronic banking service of a prestigious Spanish National financial institution. The analysis tests the relationship between the proposed variables (ease of access, trust, ease of use and usefulness) and demonstrates the moderating effect of electronic banking experience on them. The study was limited to the data of a single financial institution. Caution should therefore be exercised in generalizing the results. The research results provide a number of valuable conclusions for financial institutions. This paper is a pioneer study of satisfaction with electronic banking, especially with regard to the causal relationships between satisfaction and its main determinants.  相似文献

Outsourcing of information services is a fast growing trend and is receiving much attention in the IS community. This paper presents the results of a study of the outsourcing behavior of ten large organizations. The analysis used the transaction cost framework to explain outsourcing behavior at two different levels. At the first level of analysis, the role of asset specificity, measurement problem, and frequency in explaining the choice of the outsourced activities is investigated. The second level of analysis focuses on the influence of asset specificity and measurement problem on the terms and on the management of the contract between a firm and its outsourcer. The results presented here support the basic principles of transaction cost and incomplete contract theories.  相似文献

提出了一种错误抑制的多策略算法对齐汉维语句子。针对长度对齐算法无法避免错误蔓延的特点,提出了一种新的错误蔓延抑制策略:利用双语语料的词汇共现信息,自动抽取汉维语词汇搭配,结合句子长度特征,寻找1:1模式的句对作为锚点,将错误蔓延抑制在锚点内;在锚点之间,利用标点符号和长度混合方法进行句子对齐。算法实验结果验证了该多策略算法寻找的锚点的精度高,有效抑制了对齐错误的蔓延;采用的混合对齐算法,避免了基于词汇对齐算法的高时间复杂度的弱点,比传统的对齐算法性能有了较大提高,对齐准确率由95.0%提高到97.6%,召回率由96.8%提高到98.2%,采用的对齐正确性评价算法可以有效发现自动对齐中的噪音对齐。  相似文献

This study proposes an extended technology acceptance model to investigate the effects of system usability and satisfaction on users’ intention to continue using Internet banking services. Based on a survey data from 304 respondents, structural equation modeling technique was employed to validate the model. The empirical results found that users’ continuance usage intention is jointly determined by perceived usefulness, perceived compatibility and satisfaction level. The hypothesized model explains 48.2 % of the variance in continuous usage intention. Results of multi-group analysis reveal that there are different concerns and priorities between skilled and less skilled users. Given that the sample of this study is collected from a particular industry in Taiwan, the generalizability of the findings may be limited. However, the comprehensiveness and representativeness of the research sample is a major strength of this study.  相似文献

Trust is essential for Mobile Banking (MB) adoption and usage. MB technology has the potential to improve people's quality of life and to bring efficiency to banks. In this paper, MB trust was addressed in Brazil, a developing country that has an enormous potential for expansion of banking services. We used Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling to analyze the database, which was composed of 1077 questionnaires. In this study sample, determinants of trust had similar behavior when compared to determinants of trust previously pointed out in the literature. Our discussion indicated a kind of information asymmetry that could be mitigated in order to build trust in MB and promote its adoption. However, we observed a negative relationship between trust in MB and undergraduate course area (dummy variable for undergraduate courses in technology). The inclusion and analysis of this new variable, especially in developing countries, may contribute with the literature on MB adoption.  相似文献

This research compares views of CEOs and CIOs in the same organization about the contribution of IS to their organization and about the IS strategy that produced the contribution. The executives agree about the extent of IS contribution, but disagree about how IS strategy produces it. CEOs view analysis and proactiveness strategies as the two top keys to doing so, whereas CIOs see innovativeness and aggressiveness strategies as the two top keys.  相似文献

IS project team performance is a topic of increasing importance to practicing managers as well as researchers. This paper discusses the development and testing of a theoretical model of IS project team performance. Empirical analysis suggests that team members' perceptions of their ability to represent users' views during a project is a significant predictor of the team's perception of their overall performance. Another significant predictor is team members' belief in their personal involvement in the development process. However, findings on the influence of cohesion on performance differ from those in other studies: apparently cohesion was not a significant factor in this study.  相似文献

The advent of distributed computing has contributed to the rapid distribution of information technology throughout an organization. While powerful and user-friendly information technologies are more available to end users, managing the distributed, heterogeneous IT environment has become a serious problem for corporate IT managers. Integrated Control Architecture (ICA) enables the monitoring and controlling of dispersed information resources for effective enterprise-wide information resource management. This paper empirically examines the propositions that the level of information resource control is positively related to IS effectiveness measured in terms of user satisfaction. Measures are developed and validated for the control of information resource objects such as data, application, platform, and control of relationships among such objects. Results from a study of 130 organizations support that the organizations with high information resource control exhibit high user satisfaction.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze how companies define their strategy, especially how they interact with and appear to the customer. Based on a framework of five goals in customer oriented strategy, we classify seven cases. Analyzing the strategic premises and the processes chosen to be supported by mobile solutions, we show interdependencies between the strategic premises and the selected processes, resulting in typical properties which qualify processes for mobilization.  相似文献

Standard macroeconomics, based on a reductionist approach centered on the representative agent, is badly equipped to explain the empirical evidence where heterogeneity and industrial dynamics are the rule. As a result of our inattention to the audit process, its antecedents, and its outcomes, the academic literature has lagged behind contemporary auditing practices as the demand for information systems audits has grown. To address this gap, we propose a model of IS audit satisfaction that includes auditor expertise (AE) and auditor role clarity (ARC) as antecedent variables that affect audit responsiveness (ARES) and audit reliability (AREL), which in turn affect audit satisfaction. We tested this model using survey data from 203 IS projects in South Korean public sector firms. Our results validate the significance of auditor characteristics (AE and ARC) and audit process variables (ARES and AREL) in shaping audit satisfaction. The local alignment problem for two sequences requires determining similar regions, one from each sequence, and aligning those regions. The Smith-Waterman algorithm for local sequence alignment is one of the most well-known algorithm in computational molecular biology. This ingenious dynamic programming approach is designed to reveal the highly conserved fragments by discarding poorly conserved initial and terminal segments. However, the local alignment sometimes produces a mosaic of well conserved fragments artificially connected by poorly conserved or even unrelated fragments. This may lead to problems in comparison of long genomic sequences and comparative gene prediction. In this paper we propose a new strategy of dynamic penalty strategy to {ix this problem. In the process of computing similarity matrix, if similarity value is larger than the pre-specified threshold X then starting our strategy, when related character mismatches, then penalizing more than others until similarity value is 0 or the process ends. Test results show that this algorithm has better performance by comparison to the standard Smith-Waterman while dose not increase signally the computational complexity both in time and space.  相似文献

Next to the financial sector, the manufacturing industry is the second largest investor in information systems (IS) and technologies (IT). However, in recent years, many CEOs have expressed skepticism and disappointment on the returns from investments in IS. There is reluctance on the part of these CEOs to continue to invest in IS because of a nagging feeling that existing systems are often under-utilized. The dissatisfaction of CEOs with returns on them combined with the suspicion that existing IS are under-utilized clearly has serious implications for the IS community. Using empirical survey data of small and large manufacturing firms in the electronic industry, this paper investigates whether, in fact, IS are under-utilized and, if so, explores the underlying reasons for this situation. In particular, we explore the differences, if any, between small and large manufacturing firms in their ability to deploy and utilize IS to achieve organizational excellence.  相似文献

This paper proposes an extended model of technology acceptance to understand potential users’ acceptance of online banking information systems (OBIS). The proposed model integrates key constructs from information systems and e-commerce acceptance research streams into the theoretical frame of the technology acceptance model. The model was tested on a sample of 353 Internet banking users in Pakistan. Using structural equation modelling with Analysis of Moment Structures software, data analysis showed considerable support for the extended hypothesised model. The results suggested that, in order of importance: perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU) and trust explained 45.7% of the variance in intended acceptance behaviour. Trust and technological self-efficacy (TSE) predicted 28.1% of the variance in PU. While in PEOU 21.8% of the variance was predicted by TSE, accessibility and terminology clarity. This study produced valuable insights into the factors that influence acceptance of OBIS by intended users and offers new ideas in understanding the acceptance of technology, especially in developing countries.  相似文献

针对特定夹持器和环形物,基于搭建的微装配实验平台,提出了一种显微视觉引导下,夹持器相对于环形物的趋近运动控制策略.在垂直显微视觉引导下,基于夹持器和环形物的几何先验知识,实现了夹持器和环形物的多几何特征提取,从而实现了二者相对位置检测,并且根据夹持器头的几何先验知识及显微视觉检测结果,实现了对夹持器头的持续跟踪.在视觉信息反馈下,采用变结构控制器控制夹持器的运动,实现了对夹持器的快速稳定运动控制.实验结果验证了该运动控制策略的有效性.  相似文献
